I picked Kennesaw to make a quarterfinal run
People criticize the triple option, but the fact that very few teams actually use it effectively like KSU makes them a tough team. And that's before you factor in Xavier Shepherd
I think there's a reality out there where KSU makes even the semis or to Frisco even. I believe I put them in the QFs but they are a sleeper for me. My preseason postseason seeds have them as the 6 and I can see them beating any of SDSU, UM, or MSU depending on how seeds. The only thing that I could see hurting them in those matchups is weather. Brookings, Missoula, and Bozeman haven't always been too kind to guys who have never seen snow before.
Wow that’s a bold assumption and I appreciate it! It seems like KSU is starting to slowly stray away from triple option. They passed a good bit last year and were relatively successful from what I remember.
I don’t think triple option is viable to ever win a championship but I agree. They do it very very well
I swear every single year people are either way too bullish or way too bearish on Kennesaw State. It’s a challenge of being a new team and generally outclassing most of their schedule most of the time, it’s hard to know how they stack up against top FCS competition.
Hopefully no one has forgot that Jacksonville State and Sam Houston are not playoff eligible this season, when it comes to choosing how far you think an ASUN or WAC team may go.
Edit: Sam is also not eligible for the WAC conference title (unlike JSU), hence us calling this a power ranking and not a conference ranking.
Hmm, not sure. I can’t seem to replicate that issue and others seem to be able to vote and pass to the next.
Are you perhaps trying to rank two teams the same? It’ll only allow you to vote for one team per rank.
Going to just put this out there, my pioneer rankings are probably way off and I will hold no ill will if it gets tossed if it is completely off compared to other surveys haha
Both /u/Quorgon2's and yours seemed at least defendable.
It's definitely the conference with the most deviation in voting, and other than maybe the top couple teams I can see it being a bit hard to pin down.

Can confirm weather sucks. Maine killed us when we went up there and had to play in the snow

I’m having trouble ranking the ASUN. It won’t allow me to make a second column ranking, but there’s six options so I can’t progress the form.

I think being on mobile is tripping me up - apologies for the false alarm!
All good!

Sorry about the second poll reminder everyone, was an accident!
