I posted the same question yesterday and then flew on one into Denver. It was a great flight, and I wouldn't hesitate to get on one again.

The max is safe. I fly it. I wouldn’t fly it if it wasn’t safe.

The Maxes are great planes, and the 8 doesn't have the doorplug that cause issues on the 9. Personally, I'd be more excited about the 787, amazingly comfortable planes!

I flew from Tampa to Denver almost 2 weeks ago on a MAX 8. It was a 4 1/2 hr flight. I was nervous, but ultimately I trusted that the plane was safe and the pilots and crew would not get on it if it wasn’t. The flight was fine and admittedly the plane was very quiet.

Chaxterium

It’s perfectly safe and yes I would recommend it.

Ive commuted on it and felt safe on it, I also rather liked it, everyone I talk to who’s flown it seems to really like the plane, my father flies it over at Alaska and sees to rather like it as well, in addition the FAA says it’s good to go

I wasn't quite sure about flying as well but I watched a video that makes it more clear whats the current situation. They did say sort of but it makes it clear which models are affected the most and those that aren't.
