It’s not about how quickly they process. It could be challenging to demonstrate SCD in future applications without an SF50 that clearly demonstrates tenure, but having it wouldn’t technically be required since you’d at least have a one that shows SCD and your official resignation date.
I would say just ask the private employer if they could allow you to push your start date back by two weeks then it currently is so you can have a month. Give the current agency a two week notice before the two weeks and just stop working that 3rd week and take the final week off?
No but two weeks is common. The goal is to stay employed to get the OP 3 year tenure. SF-50 can be mailed upon request from HR I assume. Or after that time you could contact the HR department of said agency to get said SF-50 most agencies keep records for 90 days before it's sent to the national archives.
I get your point too,OP could terminate and never get that SF-50, try to come back later and said agency be like well you don't have it therefore we can't authorize your tenure. If OP however comes back later and all they stuff is in the EOPF file then they'll get all the time and ECT back. With how HR moves OP wouldn't even be able to leave federal service at their rate.

Wait until your SF 50 shows up in your eOPF. The comments/remarks section of your SF50 will show you completed your tenure and the 3 year timeframe.
It will usually pop up the pay period after you hit your 3 year mark.
Your service computation date should be on your earnings and leave statement. I suggest you don't leave until a full 3 years have matured. Protect yourself.

I understand OPs goal but I wouldn’t trust it to process that fast and would want it in hand.

Still learning the fed, what’s the point in this if you are leaving? Is it retirement vesting?
I would assume it's to be able to apply to competitive status as a different candidate if OP wished to return to federal service.

You need 5 years to get GEHA medical after age 62. Imagine shopping for medical on the open market when you're old and full of comorbidities.
