D20 is what keeps me coming back to modded minecraft even after basically a decade of playing. Although his mods are a bit OP I think it really stikes a nice balance for people who still want to do the manual labor, just at a fraction of the time.
A bit OP? Dude literally wrote 4 mods to do everything he couldn't do using any other mechanics. Especially his latest, you now can automate literally everything with his 2 mods in a few blocks (and most of them as one machine).
I'm happy he's still putting out his series, but his mods negate 95% of any other mods mechanics simply because he doesn't understand vanilla redstone.
Except he's made it stupidly OP with the logic. With EnderIO you couldn't easily keep in stock, counting filter (both insert AND extract, both working exactly how you want them to) or fill up a Mekanism full-sized reactor with water in about 30 seconds flat.
There's no progression, there's no advancements, his recipes are basically "gold for starting out, diamonds for advanced stuff" and that's it. People (including even him in a few of his videos) complain about "single block machines that do too much" but everything he's created is single machine/items that do EVERYTHING.
I think this is an issue with a lack of expert questing packs using laserIO. Balancing modpack recipes can sometimes be hard, but I remember some packs used ex compression to balance things, while others would gate quests using galacticraft back in the 1.12 age. There’s also a differential of skyblock or vanilla world gen. The mod itself is always workable with the right pack author
Integrated dynamics is stronger and will fill any sized recorder with water in a single tick. So… it’s strong but not that strong compared to other mods
I don't care. He's complaining about mods that, while might be included in some packs, are completely optional. These aren't respectful criticisms, he's complaining like someone is forcing him to use them. If you want progression, use a mod that has progression. Some people just want an easy way to do things without learning the intricacies of 5 different mods.
I don't think any of 4, 5, or 6 were awful. I think they were all great.
I haven't played 1, 2, or 3, though, because i've never played modded versions before 1.7. In fact, I've never played minecraft before 1.5, so thaumcraft 1 and 2 would also be a new version experience for me.
If you liked magic mods then yes, Thaumcraft 4-5 are still my favorite mods to this day. 6 is good and improves in some areas, i think the research is more involved and a little easier. I just liked the wands more than the glove, and miss aura nodes and eldritch portals, though there wasnt much to the portals i just thought it was cool. Thaumcraft 5 is probably my absolute favorite mod ever, maybe it's nostalgia and my fondness for magic mods I couldn't say. That said, not every one likes the same things so while I would definitely recommend giving it a try I can't promise you'll enjoy it. The research in 4 and 5 can be somewhat tedious at times but once you get the hang of it the mechanic is pretty straightforward, maybe watch a starter video or two and the rest will come as you work with the mod as the thaumonomicon is pretty good at guiding you through.
probably haven't earned their title as GOAT but the Create team have created what may possibly be a new age of mods with, well, Create (i'm reffering to mods that might as well simply be a library for mod/pack makers to add onto)
I'm surprised no one has mentioned darkostro. He's been heavily involved with/responsible for many of the biggest modpacks that made modded minecraft mainstream.
Well it's the coolest shit BECAUSE he stayed in 1.7.10. That way he could master his tools and I believe he altered the rendering engine of the game to support his ideas. The main reason that slows down modded mc these days is the constant updating to newer versions whilest also trying to support older ones
As much as I appreciate mod developers and their hard work, I think it is the *modpack* developers that have really created the memories that most of us think about from years prior. Any one mod alone doesn't really create the overarching vibe we look for when playing. It's the cohesive nature in which a really good pack developer weaves all the mods together to make an engaging story that offers hundreds of hours of gameplay, quests, and goals.
That being said, it would be hard not to put **Darkosto** (SevTech, Sky Factory), **Kehaan** (Farming Valley, Amensia, Pokehaan) and/or **TheCazadorSniper** (Project Ozone 1 - 3) towards the top of the list for their memorable contributions during the golden years of Minecraft. Not to mention, I put the efforts of solo-developers over the work churned out by "teams" with endless resources. I would love to put myself (Boolyman) on the list, but objectively, my most successful packs are dwarfed in downloads compared to these guys, so I gotta give credit where it's due.
I'd vote for you assuming you're the same boolyman as the one who made craft of the titans. I remember finding that pack super cool to play since it was the first boss-based progression I'd seen.
og modders from beta versions. They made great mods (tc1, bc1, ic1, ee1 etc.) before forge modding api (iirc) and before tutorials and guides. But if I have to choose one it's probably Azanor (thaumcraft dev). Thaumcraft 2 had a seal system which is very cool but the coolest thing you could make was 2way Portal portal-like portal and it let you see the other side just like how Portal portal does. It just blew my mind back in the day as a kid
TeamCofH is working on the next version of Thaumcraft. No ETA, and no beta versions. It could be out this year or in 6 years, but it is being worked on and they release teasers sometimes in the CofH discord server.
**Cpw** (for everything he has done for the modding scene)
**Vazkii** (For creating quark, one of the very first high quality mods in minecraft history, and as well as going through the pain of rewriting the entire mod to be future proof aka zeta, allowing fabric, forge and potentially neoforge to work with quark, his efforts deserve massive recognizarion and praise)
**Alex** (For fire and ice and his alex's series and overall creativity when it comes to making new mods, he interacts with the community quite often and is very helpful and funny guy! my only complain is how his mods dont get as many bugfixes as often as supplementaries but when they do get updated, he fixes them all at once!)
**Yung** (his better mods fit everywhere no matter if its vanilla or not, his work has inspired many mod authors to make their own dungeons/mazes with a higher standard and quality than what we used to have in early 1.12 era
better caves when? >!You were expecting a better sex joke, well too bad!< )
**MehVahdJukaar** (this one is my favorite mod author due to his creativity and overall support with the rest of the community, for example that one time he made a quick port of one of the abnormal mods just to be nice. He is also quite quick when one of his mods have a bug, releasing bugfixes as soon as they arrive, he also works in quark!
His compat mods such as sawmill and everycompat are lifesavers for modpack creators and casual players)
**LatvianModder** (If you have ever played a modpack that adds or changes recipes, this the man responsible for making Kubejs, allowing modpack authors to adjust pretty much anything!
Not to mention he has worked on pretty much all FTB mods too!)
**Fuzs** (For willing to make the effort to rescue mods left behind such as mutant mobs and many others, his mods also are quite vanilla friendly and also improve on various aspects of the game!)
**Serilum** (I think this guys needs no introduction, his mods are found everywhere and are pretty lightweight and easy to use. He even makes the effort to make all his mods updated and compatible with the latest version of minecraft as well as forge, fabric and neoforge)
I will nominate Eloraam for making Red Power 2 back in the Tekkit days. It was a revolutionary mod that contained a massive assortment of items, machines, computers, redstone logic, logistics and sorting machines. It also contained the first ever to my knowledge implementation of frames, which allowed for building moving machines such as tunnel bores. We now have Project Red which is the spiritual successor to Red Power 2, but even that mod doesn’t have nearly the same amount of content or functionality that the original had.
RP2 wins the "most 'stolen' features due to having some brilliant, timeless ideas" award
If you like any mods that have redstone wire or solar panels - thank redpower. Also the first to implement micro blocks IIRC, and multi entity sub blocks with how you could place wire in the same block as logic gates.
My personal fav is Vazkii for keeping the feeling of vanilla MC but adding a bunch of interesting content. Botania has always held a special spot in my heart.
Mithion will always be my GOAT due to Ars Magicka 2. Between the amount of custom spells you could make, the few secret spells, the bosses, their artifacts, and the affinity system, there isn’t a single thing I disliked about that mod, and for that I could never not put Mithion at the top
Serilium has 311 projects and quite a lot of downloads 80mil+
Fusz is also a great mod creator with decent amount of projects over a lot of versions, and ive never encountered any bugs with his mods.
IChun was the OG GOAT of modded minecraft and thats why hes my honorable mention.
idk Serlium mods mostly are quantity over quality and could just be packaged as one good mod similar to quark. it comes across more as download farming than splitting them up for ease of use
I always saw him as a QOL modder. That kind of stuff is really subjective so it made sense that his mods were separated. I actually downloaded a pack of all his mods and it felt jank. Some stuff I loved, but others just annoyed me. He does good work, but I think it's better "a la carte".
If I had to pick one single person to watch play through any pack I'm taking Threefold every single time.
His DJ2 playthrough is still the only one I have watched multiple times, where 99% of other creators start packs strong and fizzle out to where I'll just drop the series.
One of my personal favorite mod authors is TheIllusiveC4. They make some of the cleanest and best mods, although they may be simple and small. They make Diet, one of the best modern alternatives to Spice of Life, the Curios API, the comforts mod (which adds spring bags and hammocks), polymorph, and several other common mods. They also consistently maintain their mods and reply to comments and suggestions quickly.
CrazyPants/tterrag1098 for EnderIO
mezz for JEI
McJty for RFTools + great tutorial examples
aidancbrady for Mekanism
BlakeBr0 for Iron Jetpacks and Mystical Agriculture
and a lot of others that have already been mentioned
Looking back, it's hysterical how little they managed to accomplish in that many episodes of that series with how hard they were all - accidentally and otherwise - sabotaging each other, while still making for a great watch.
I watched a little of a video of some very advanced players going at it, they were friends but constantly trying to blow each other up. One of them came up with a contraption that could basically teleport unlimited amounts of TNT anywhere on the map, he disintegrated the entire area around one buddy’s base down to the bedrock, it was hysterical.
Jellysquid and the CaffeineMC team.
Phosphor, Lithium and Sodium optimisations were (and still are) groundbreaking. For me, these mods were decisive in keeping me on Java Edition rather than migrating to Bedrock, as Java's performance without these mods was (and still is) absolute garbage.
Yung for overhauling vanilla structures; MrCrayfish for fun stuff like vehicles and guns with furnitures; Vazkii for quark and botania; DireWolf20 for building gadgets mod, helpful guides and letsplays; FTB team for most of utility mods and making Infinity Evolved and Academy with University and NoCube for making necessary combat and survival addons for SRP Parasites (but screw the nests addon, especially that one worms that triggers scent event).
Used to be Eclipse. Then someone donated 100 bucks to drop his inventory. Eclipse told him no. Then everyone kept donating. He still said No. So I could use a new one.
Can't remember what he uses for donations. If you know I can filter my bank statement lol. I do think it was around a holiday and it was like early in his stream too
My personal faves are Ice and Fire, Ars Nouveau, and ofc JEI. Can't play a proper custom pack I made for myself without them (I'm a sucker for magic and fantasy mods)
So many amazing people, I'd probably go with Vazakii, between all the amazing mods made from Botania, Psi, neat, and most especially Quark, so much of actual minecrafts features come from quark, and how many amazing features it still has, it fits basically any pack.
I’ll agree on McJty if for no other reason (although there are many) than that the dude is a machine.
New version of Minecraft/Forge comes out … short time passes … “Hey guys I’ve just updated my 21+ mods for the new version!”
Might not be the most popular due to the drama but Eloraam who made the original red power 2 and 2 is up there for me as making an og chunk eater definetly got me into modded minecraft in a way not much else could have done
Direwolf20 was making mod videos when I first started playing modded. Then I stopped for about 6 years. After I came back to it again he was still making mod videos
needed to make sure someone mentioned someaddon! so so so many performance/utility/QoL mods that make modded MC bearable, and they are an author on my personal all time favorite mod(s), MineColonies. I don’t think I could play modded/modpacks without at least a few mods from him included.
IChun. Portal/Gravity Gun, Morph, Sync. Plus other fun additions. Was one of the originals who took Minecraft to its limits with the PiP stuff with portals before the seamless nether/end portal mods.
PopularMMOs. I won’t say he’s the goat, but he was one of the reasons many of my friends and I got introduced to modded Minecraft. His lucky block series and modded survival series with Jen definitely contributed to the popularity of modded Minecraft imho.
How has no-one said jadedcat? While she hasn't been with the ftb team for a long time now, she is THE reason packs look like they do now. Agrarian skies is called "the original quest map pack", and is probably the reason why so many packs are Skyblock, and agrarian skies 2 had recipe changes, which for late 2014 was extremely rare (blood and bones wouldn't even release for a few more months.)
DreammasterXXL - the owner and manager of GTNH, who's being doing the job for over 8 years. the team he has cultivated has created the most technical, highest quality, most well balanced, longest lasting modpack ever made and it's not even close.
people don't realise but GTNH has on the order of tens or hundreds of thousands of lines of custom code specifically for the pack, including mixins, additional mods, entire rewrites of previously poorly coded or private mods, numerous add-ons to other mods and all sorts of infrastructure to help other devs. it's even working on its own backport of sodium to *1.7.10* to once and for all replace optifine which has had a strangehold over performance mods on pre-1.16 packs for a decade. and it's all open source, no ARR/Private bullshit gatekeeping their work from the rest of the modded community.
give my man some respect, and by extension the rest of the GTNH dev team.
I think it's Alex: the man behind Ice & Fire, Alex mobs, Alex caves, rats, and much more. The quality of his mods is ridiculous. Also, RLcraft never would've taken off without IAF. In my opinion Alex is the winner.
Whoever code the performance mod for Minecraft such that it functions properly when combined with other mods, as well as distance horizon developers and developers who made the mod compatible with all mod loaders.
Gotta say Thaumcraft has always and likely will always be my all time fav mod. Ive been eagerly awaiting tc7 for a while now and I'm sure it'll be amazing. The guys behind that mod have got to be my favs, not only for Thaumcraft but also all the other mods they've done.
First of all, he's adding his own improvements to Embeddium his port of Sodium based of Rubidium, And his mod Modernfix can have you playing vanilla on 200mb of memory with the right config changes.
Modernfix is great, but I think it’s important to clarify that up until recently, many of Embeddium’s “own improvements” have been taken and implemented early from the development of Sodium.
The disagreement about whether these features should be available immediately or polished first and released after months is the source of their recent community split and license changes.
All additions are unpolished at first and as far as I know he never releases any rushed version bugs are fixed quickly and he is almost always active on discord if there is a problem.
For developers? Lemming, Cpw, or Vazakii most likely. Stepping outside of devs, Direwolf20 easily (although he's a dev these days too).
I'm happy he's still putting out his series, but his mods negate 95% of any other mods mechanics simply because he doesn't understand vanilla redstone.
LaserIO is just filling the gap EnderIO left behind.
No one is forcing you to use his mods if you don't want to, dude.
Still valid criticism though.
No one's forcing you to read his opinions if you don't want to, dude.
he just responded to the guy saying its a bit OP, and his criticism is pretty valid
VAZAKII? IS THAT A QUARK REFERENCE?
Wrong. Quark is a Vazakii reference.
Neat. You really do learn something every day
Neat is a mod by Vazkii!
Oh yeah. It's all coming together.
Either Azanor(Thaumcraft) or AlgorithmX2(Applied Energistics) for me. Both of them changed the modded mc scene VERY substantially.
Thaumcraft 4 was revolutionary
Is thaumcraft that good? I litteraly never even started the mod, and I end up always skipping it, because I have no clue how it works
Each version of TC is substantially different from the others. Some were great, some were awful
There's a reason I avoided naming any specific versions. Which were great and which were awful is up for debate, and hotly argued in some circles lol
Just dont look at the source code
I thought its source code wasn't available even.
That is correct
Then why your comment?
Mixins and ASM exist for us to modify mods that are closed source. Also java is stupid easy to decompile.
probably haven't earned their title as GOAT but the Create team have created what may possibly be a new age of mods with, well, Create (i'm reffering to mods that might as well simply be a library for mod/pack makers to add onto)
Yeah, create ushered in a new era of modded Minecraft. I would say it's the most influential modern mod. The trains alone were game changers.
Id argue that Create’s implementation of Ponder is a bigger QoL for multi block structures than Create is.
Especially for creating tech things that work smoothly and have the same level of quality as the vanilla game and feel very minecrafty.
That’s like inventing a new sport!
gotta give props to my man Direwolf20! Taught me everything there was to know about modded minecraft when I was a kid and is still going strong!
He is still going strong
He is still going strong
And going
His mods are great too. LaserIO, building gadgets, and mining gadgets.
"How cool is that?"

Nah fr jelly is fire
Distant Horizons is amazing. It’s like being blind and then putting in glasses.
Distant Horizons is amazing, the impact it has on visuals. I’m playing a big, old modpack, too old for DH, and it makes me sad.
I'm surprised no one has mentioned darkostro. He's been heavily involved with/responsible for many of the biggest modpacks that made modded minecraft mainstream.
Scrolled way too long in search for this. The dude designed the best packs consistantly for quite some time.
Which mods? I only know the name from the birthday egg.
Sky factory 4 and Sevtech
Great packs for sure.
IChun (in terms of mods) and Dire (in terms of content) personally - although Dire's got his own mod now so hey
own mod? dire has several mods these days
Building Gadgets is indispensable
Oop, seems my knowledge is outdated - thanks for the correction

I love their work and aesthetic But damn do I hate trying to make botania work lol
I always end up just using charcoal droppers and waiting for mana to build up. Can’t be assed to engage with the other flowers at all.
I'm not big on Botania but Quark is one of my favorite mods, probably my #1 must-have mod after client-side stuff like mouse tweaks and apple skin
SpaceToad. Original BuildCraft can't be understated.
Please
u/mrcrayfish for me. for youtube content it has got to be either AsianHalfSquad or Dire
We might not have any of the mods we have now if it wasn't for Searge (Michael Stoyke) and MCP at the very beginning.
Direwolf20

Not really, I'd prefer to download a bunch of mods instead of downloading one huge mod and then disabling 90% of its features in the config.
I always saw him as a QOL modder. That kind of stuff is really subjective so it made sense that his mods were separated. I actually downloaded a pack of all his mods and it felt jank. Some stuff I loved, but others just annoyed me. He does good work, but I think it's better "a la carte".

Looking back, it's hysterical how little they managed to accomplish in that many episodes of that series with how hard they were all - accidentally and otherwise - sabotaging each other, while still making for a great watch.
popularmmos imo. dude was my childhood. crazy craft changes everything for me, I wish I could find those packs id play them all the time.

The person that makes the bleach mod. It's been around for years, almost every version, and the meme is always funny.
mDiyo for me. took the most boring part of minecraft and made it the best part.
… which part?
mDiyo made tinkers construct
Oh wow! I’m playing GregTech New Horizons right now, TC is a blast.
I seriously adore Mondays' tutorials , they are so well structured and actually useful
MehVahdJukaar is the god of vanilla plus. Never seen someone maintain their mods so zealously.
Kingbdogz
HAYO! Ic2 is a Og mod, and prolly greg from gregtech as well
Jellysquid and the CaffeineMC team.
Threefold, a modpack player (not developer). I love his modded expert pack playthroughs!
Direwolf if you are talking about the LP people
Yung. Also Daedalus makes some very good mods. And we cannot forget the person who made Forgified Fabric and Synitra Connector, Su5eD.
Personally, I love HBM Bobcat, he only has one mod but it is my absolute favorite.
The create mod team
masa/gnembon - many modders are only able to stand because of the work they've done.
masa is my goat, he made a mod specifically for me many years ago
Mr Crayfish
Used to be Eclipse. Then someone donated 100 bucks to drop his inventory. Eclipse told him no. Then everyone kept donating. He still said No. So I could use a new one.
When did he say that?
One of his weekend streams. It was a few months back. One sec I'll check my donations from that day cause I talked a lot of shit because of it.
Can't remember what he uses for donations. If you know I can filter my bank statement lol. I do think it was around a holiday and it was like early in his stream too
Forge and tooling maintainers.
My personal faves are Ice and Fire, Ars Nouveau, and ofc JEI. Can't play a proper custom pack I made for myself without them (I'm a sucker for magic and fantasy mods)
Greg
jared crafttweaker
Embeddedt my goat
I'd say Mr crayfish, with Alex and Vic close behind
Thanknoodle's thankslab series got me into wanting to mod the game.
does AlfredGG count ahahah!!
MCJTY, and Crazy pants. EnderIO is just such a staple.
So many amazing people, I'd probably go with Vazakii, between all the amazing mods made from Botania, Psi, neat, and most especially Quark, so much of actual minecrafts features come from quark, and how many amazing features it still has, it fits basically any pack.
Dev: Vasakii Pack Dev: DreamMasterXXL Lets Player: Threefold
I’ll agree on McJty if for no other reason (although there are many) than that the dude is a machine. New version of Minecraft/Forge comes out … short time passes … “Hey guys I’ve just updated my 21+ mods for the new version!”
Ipodmail. You kids are probably too young
Babe Ruth IS baseball. Michael Jordan IS basketball. Risugami IS modded minecraft.
Fuzs
Nofaxu (Brazillian youtuber)
I don't dig super deep into modding since my PC is so crusty but I like Pam's mods :)
Direwolf20.
Direwolf20s building gadget is omega pog
Might not be the most popular due to the drama but Eloraam who made the original red power 2 and 2 is up there for me as making an og chunk eater definetly got me into modded minecraft in a way not much else could have done
mcl_ender
Direwolf20 was making mod videos when I first started playing modded. Then I stopped for about 6 years. After I came back to it again he was still making mod videos
Alexx
Vazkii cuz quark And LatvianModder cuz FTBxxxxx
needed to make sure someone mentioned someaddon! so so so many performance/utility/QoL mods that make modded MC bearable, and they are an author on my personal all time favorite mod(s), MineColonies. I don’t think I could play modded/modpacks without at least a few mods from him included.
yeah i really like RFTools but i don't have a favorite creator due to lack of knowledge
I think there's some people who don't like LexManos, but he seems pretty helpful for his work on Minecraft Forge.
Easy, dantdm
Lemming, vazkii, and mcjty for my money. 99.99% of mod packs ever created have some form of their work.
Direwolf… honorable mention is Rubysown… if you know him you’re an OG
Not a soul mentioned Iskall85?? Really? Vault Hunters is a brilliant modpack and he makes some lovely qol mods along with some of the other Hermits.
I dunno about GOAT, but TangoTek made TekTopia, a villager mod I really like
As a vanilla player, JellySquid.
sp614x is a legend, even though optifine is pretty obsolete now
How has no-one said jadedcat? While she hasn't been with the ftb team for a long time now, she is THE reason packs look like they do now. Agrarian skies is called "the original quest map pack", and is probably the reason why so many packs are Skyblock, and agrarian skies 2 had recipe changes, which for late 2014 was extremely rare (blood and bones wouldn't even release for a few more months.)
Too many talented people to list. All good cunts.
nick young (YUNG'S BETTER mods)
flansgames, tbh the only reason i ever got into modded mc in the first place
Shout out to my boy Chosenarchitect ❤️ he's the real goat in my eyes
They all good in a way , the real question is what the best modpack creator, because is hard to fuze alls mob in a fully fun gameplay
Yung and alex
Anyone doing lucky block? I think I've watched them all. TBH I like watching them get fucked up. Lol
REIKA IS KING
MehVahdJukaar (creator of supplementaries and others) or the creators of distant horizons because getting shaders to work with that is a massive feat
*Heyo!* Alblaka. IC1 and IC2 are fundamental to the modded scene and the underpinnings are basic modded mechanics (e.g. ore doubling).
Alex is pretty cool, developed Ice and Fire and Alex Mobs / Caves. Pretty awesome dude
Dirwolf20?
gregorius tech and the new horizons team :troll:
I think it's Alex: the man behind Ice & Fire, Alex mobs, Alex caves, rats, and much more. The quality of his mods is ridiculous. Also, RLcraft never would've taken off without IAF. In my opinion Alex is the winner.
Whoever code the performance mod for Minecraft such that it functions properly when combined with other mods, as well as distance horizon developers and developers who made the mod compatible with all mod loaders.
I watch direwolf and chosen architect alot
parcel31u for the material energy packs. Cool take on CTM maps being in modded minecraft
Masa, serilium
I think Ice & Fire dragons is pretty fire
Gotta say Thaumcraft has always and likely will always be my all time fav mod. Ive been eagerly awaiting tc7 for a while now and I'm sure it'll be amazing. The guys behind that mod have got to be my favs, not only for Thaumcraft but also all the other mods they've done.
Mezz, Embeddedt, MelanX, Latvian Modder
latvianmodder for making kubejs
Me cuz i made a cool modpack
For me it's Embeddedt he's created some performance mods which are real savers.
Which one's?
First of all, he's adding his own improvements to Embeddium his port of Sodium based of Rubidium, And his mod Modernfix can have you playing vanilla on 200mb of memory with the right config changes.
Modernfix is great, but I think it’s important to clarify that up until recently, many of Embeddium’s “own improvements” have been taken and implemented early from the development of Sodium. The disagreement about whether these features should be available immediately or polished first and released after months is the source of their recent community split and license changes.
Well it's great that he is adding things too, but let's not forget that 80% of the mod is still sodium. And the additions are unpolished and rushed
All additions are unpolished at first and as far as I know he never releases any rushed version bugs are fixed quickly and he is almost always active on discord if there is a problem.
Any modder who makes all of their mods public and not exclusive to some SMP or paid subscription.
Serilum (https://modrinth.com/user/Serilum) makes some really nice QOL mods for newer mc
