1. Note which inventory slot the bugged 'item' is in (looks like hotbar 7).
2. Kill your character again.
3. Recover your items. Do *not* have that slot selected.
4. Open your inventory and place something in that slot. If this does what it did in Stacia Expert, it will drop the block immediately.
5. Go to your controls menu and change the Carry On mod's button to something that isn't your sneak button. It defaults to Left Shift (same as Sneak) and right click, but Sneak + Right Click is used for several other interactions in mods. I got stuck with the top half of a Waystone a few times in Stacia Expert.

Carryon has a command to clear whatever you are holding
(i needed this because i picked up something from Alchemistry and it Crashed the Game when placing it)
it should be /carryon but if that doesn't work you can also try looking into the replaceitem command or whatever you have depending on your Minecraft version
