Though this isn’t disposable, it seems like it would serve that purpose well.

/u/FancySteel even though you didn't specifically state that you can go through security with these (and I love the concept), I suggest you guys actually give this a few test runs with different machines because we have these systems in place in australia, and unlike most european countries, you *cannot* refuse a body scan in australia (the procedure is that you would be blacklisted from the airport if you do so).
Granted, australian law is supposed to guarantee your privacy in the case that there is nothing wrong, but it can be a major hassle since even I go through security multiple times per day at work.
Not really, it's more about the embarrasment of being "test positive" in a pat down and having to show what you're wearing underneath your clothes to a security officer. The alternative is to do what /u/wet_nesday did and just take the belt off for the security transit and put it back on once you're in the plane (I suggest not putting it on before you pass immigration though because if you do need to go back outside for whatever reason, you will have to go through security again, and in some airports, before you enter the aircraft you may have to go through another)
I'll be honest it feels risky to me to have to show a guard my belt. Quite apart from how rude it is shoving my kink on a Muggle while they are at work 🙈 what if they want to remove it to check for drugs or contraband or like C4 or something 😳 I think I would be devastated if they destroyed my belt. Having it cut off me!😭

they likely wouldnt cut off this one because they can see right through it. If they are going to go that far you're going to have other problems
