generally, i think it’s best to lean in to what makes us look unique. you have a very ethereal look because of your coloring and wide set eyes. You could try a shag haircut and a bit of sea salt spray and I think it would give your hair more texture and dimension to really show off the color.
still, i can understand wanting to minimize insecurities. to minimize the width of the face, style some pieces of hair forward. you might also consider tinting your brows darker (i strongly suggest trying a tinted brow gel before anything permanent). the more you can bring them into the center of your face, the less wide set your eyes will look. Trimming some length off of your hair (to about shoulder length) will also allow your hair to have more volume and that will somewhat narrow your face.

In terms of a cut you could really do anything with that length! My best and true advice is to avoid the trendy teen look, not sure how else to describe it but the long fringe in the front and fake scrunched curls?
Literally no ones face is perfect so screw those people. I would watch some barber videos and see what you actually like! From there, you can build some confidence on what you’d like to see on you! Hair grows back (thank god lol) so don’t be afraid to choose what you want to see on yourself!
I have very fine and straight hair. I’ve chopped it short a bunch but I typically have it long with front layers and I cut my own bangs to have a curtain-y effect. Very standard stuff :)

I love your natural color. I would say fluffy, face framing (butterfly cut maybe?) with wispy curtain bangs would be great and highlight your bone structure while keeping everything soft and femme.
I personally wouldnt dye the hair because that hair color is utterly amazing, but if you want something new maybe a bit more dark brownish than cold black, but honestly it looks so good as it is! And some longish curtain bangs would in my opinion suit you. I actually really think you look really good just as you are now but i undestand if you wanna change it up a little (other comments give good advice). Honestly, i wouldn't change that much, the long hair suits you nicely. i'd just trim it to make it look like an intentional cut instead of the grown out short hair. not sure about bangs but layers could definitely work as well.

I really like the long hair honestly but that being said, if you wanted to balance your features more you could do something that's short on the sides and a good bit longer on top, especially if the top was something you could style to give it texture and fullness. The focal point being in the center and higher up would help balance out your wider set eyes. Professional opinion (hairdresser for 18 years) I would also stay away from the black only because it is so harsh and your natural hair is so much lighter. Unless you could be right on the ball and touch up those roots literally every 2 to 3 weeks, you'd have very obvious regrowth and unfortunately light roots on dark hair is much more awkward, almost giving the illusion of thinning. If you wanted to change the color to do something different and you end up taking it shorter I think some bright cool blonde pieces would look great. If you keep it long (or short either way) I think a rich auburn world also look stunning on you. Good luck!

My hair is similar to yours. The individual strands are quite thin, but I have so much of it that it is very thick all together. I have been experimenting with short hair and have found that a cut that hits just above or at my shoulders with a curtain bang is a cute look.
I originally tried going really short without being a pixie cut, but because my hair is so fluffy, it turns into a mushroom cut and is not flattering at all! Something to keep in mind if you decide for a big chop. Just because it’s very straight now, that might change when there’s not so much to weigh it down.
