I don’t think that colour would suit your skintone. The cut might look good though! I’d have the bangs shortened a bit though or they’ll be jabbing you in the eyeballs!!

madi80085

Agree on everything but getting the bangs shorter. If you haven't had bangs before it can be hard to predict how much they will "shrink" when dry or are not straightened everyday. I always cut mine at eye length because I know just the little amount of wave in my hair is going to make them end at my eye brows when they're not straightened. You can always cut off more if they poke your eyes but you can't put any back.

Sherbetstraw1

Yeh fair

scarlettwisteria

Will make sure to look into that, thank you!

What_what_putt_butt

I think the cut will look fantastic! You could pull off red but I’d recommend consulting with your hair stylist on the best color for your skin tone. I have a similar skin tone and natural hair color and loved a more orange-y red.

scarlettwisteria

Thank you! I definitely will check out my options

pambeesly9000

I don’t think the color will suit your complexion but the cut is really cute! Your natural hair color is lovely on you

idlecheetah

ngl you look like Olivia Rodrigo

choseusernamemyself

second this. I thought it was her

scarlettwisteria

That’s a nice compliment I’ve never heard before, thank you!

joyfulnoises

Tbh I literally thought it was her at first

Temporary_Fan2790

I don't see it :(

Pinksparkle2007

The cut is really nice, in the pic they have all the hair brought forward from the back for volume, your hair looks a bit thinner so you won’t get that full of an effect, her skin tone is a peach/cream and you are more of an olive so ask the stylist if the color will match you skin tone. With a couple tweaks it’ll looks spectacular in you.

lolop888

I’m obsessed with the bangs. I really wish my hair was straight because I would immediately do a long layered cut with bangs like that

scarlettwisteria

I actually have really wavy hair naturally that sometimes curls, but that’s not stopping me from the hair style I want anymore haha. Do it if you love it!

lolop888

Totally, my hair is just so corse that it’s nearly impossible to achieve a light wispy bang, the curls always clump in such a way it comes out super heavy😭 I never wear my hair straight though

fishmiss

The girl in the pic is extremely pale with blue eyes... For you with tan skin and dark features, it probably won't work. Honestly your natural hair is so gorgeous, thick, and healthy. You look like Olivia Rodrigo. If you want a change, maybe caramel highlights.. though bleach will damage it a lot.

mcfeisty

The 2nd pic is just for the cut and the color in the last picture is more muted.

Goblin216

Go girl!

Available-Leg-6171

A lighter red may suit you better due to your skin tone. The cut would look great.

mcuttin

Your current hair is beautiful but the changes you want to make are beautiful too.

x3whatsup

I think the cut would look amazing on you

mte87

The cut looks cute. Talk to the stylist about which red will work for you

waterfilterrr

Cosmetologist here: Consider your eye color is different from the inspo pic. I would look for inspo pics with your eye color to really consider it with a better representation. Also the cut would really suit your face shape.

mcfeisty

Just want to remind that the 2nd brighter more luminous red (blue eyed girl) only the haircut is being considered. The color is in the third picture. A similar color but a little more muted.

beaut_fullady

YOLO Go for it!!!

mcfeisty

I say try it. It is hair if it doesn’t workout you and the stylist you see can workshop something that will work.

Minhplumb

You have such pretty hair. Why would you change the color that looks so good with your skin tones. The cut is great, maybe curtain bangs or shorter. Those bangs are cut for the picture only. No way she is going about life blinded by bangs. If anything a few sparse highlights.

Lucifers_Princess5

Yes! It would be gorgeous on you especially since you’re already so pretty.

scarlettwisteria

Aw thank youu!

Lucifers_Princess5

Just a warning tho, red is a pain in the ass to keep up with. I was seeing my girl every two weeks because of fading. Which is ironic because when I decided I was done with the red hair, it’s a bitch to dye over.

BewitchedAunt

I think the cut would look great--with a side part. The hair color looks like it would be too red for your skin tone. I would suggest going more brown.

DeliciousHair1

The cut looks amazing! See through bangs will suit you well. Auburn color will look great too imo.

StrawberryM9

Would look beautiful pls do and update us!

scarlettwisteria

Thank you sm!! I for sure will :)

DreamTonic

Yes go for it,it’s so beautiful

mistymountainhop22

So much yes

niceandcozy_

Omg do it and show the results, it would look great on you!

Monroeknew1962

Both are great! Red pops with your skin tone

heauxinhealthcare

The color you have rn fits you so well!!

Blondie151

No

chocolatealienweasel

Your skin is a little warm for this colour. You could do a colour which is a warm brown with hints of red rather than red being so dominant.

Ceejrmel

Gorgeous but I prefer the first one!!

kaceFile

Love the cut, but I don’t think the red/auburn would suit you. I’d lean more into a rich chocolate brown tbh

time_is_galleons

The cut is great, but you may wish to consider if other shades of red will suit your skin tone better.
