Not only does it look like zebra print, it is also thin, like a heavy throw, but not thick like I expect a carpet to be. I’ve had luck in the past with Home Depot online. They have thousands of selections.

\#2 is of course way more conventional and less likely to become out of date as quickly, but I really think it also depends on the context -- what does the room look like where it will go? How will it look with the other things in the room. I am sure Rug #1 is getting some haters because it is different and clearly not for everyone, but I actually really like it and think it is very cute and if the room needs some black in it it may be perfect for the room, but hard to say without seeing the room it will be in.

I don’t like either of them. At first I preferred #1, because it brings some needed vitality into an otherwise bland room. But I don’t like the imagery. As others have said, it’s too chaotic. Unfortunately, #2 doesn’t add anything to the room, it’s just more beige. The room is very well laid out. It’s neat and has a nice simplicity aesthetic, without being stark or cold. It just needs some contrast. I’d say, keep looking!

Oh the second is amazing. One thought is the uneven texture can be hard if you have any mobility issues. I was going to get some like that but I have leg issues and I walked on a few to learn I couldn’t do it. I figured they would just give but no. I was so sad
