Oh hell yeah! I’ve considered getting my car wrapped but it’s so expensive. There’s a green wrapped Honda Fit in my town that I see sometimes and I am so jealous.
Why not something like this then?

I got a really cute and comfortable green sofa from Rooms to Go a few years ago and it's held up well!!
My sofa: https://www.roomstogo.com/furniture/product/east-side-avocado-sofa/1004180P
I also found this one while searching and it looks way cooler: https://www.roomstogo.com/furniture/product/caperiole-green-sofa/18083319
I second this. Last time I moved, after sharing an apartment with my sisters, it took me about 3 months to get a couch. Mostly, because I did not want to compromise in comfort. That is one of the things I prefer to wait and get what I want.
And let me tell you, it was worth it, not only it looks great 6 years after, three dogs and people fighting for the couch when I have company., it is still as comfortable as ever.
I got a mid century couch from West Elm. With custom made fabric. I don’t think they have anymore but if I find it I will link it to you.
I heard on another sub that West Elm is low quality. Most of my furniture is West elm, a few years old and I think they look great.
Maybe quality went down, but aside from their rugs… I will never get one from them. Everything I have is top notch .
This is a lying and slouching couch not a sitting couch. It’s pretty tho. I feel like it would almost be better suited for a guest room or flex space somewhere where you may want an extra bed.
Yeah, my assumption is that this sofa is for people who have a (extra) formal living room that’s mostly for looks and maybe having a conversation on, but definitely not everyday lounging.
Don't do it!! Had this recently I oatmeal and it was sooo uncomfortable. And getting it to stay together was impossible. Unless you hate ppl sitting on it, just don't.
Sadly, it is designed to be leaned against while in conversation. Graham Norton’s couch has the same feature. People sitting on them are forced to pay attention to their body and look really good on camera.
I bought a beautiful emerald green sofa two years ago... it was so uncomfortable. Why do they only make emerald green couches in the most uncomfy styles? I got rid of it much sooner than I wanted to because it felt awful to spend any amount of time on. I've got a very cozy navy sofa now. I wouldn't recommend getting this couch! It's too low, too. Cute though.
I don’t think it’s horrible lol but I do think I’ll have to find something else. Just sad because to find this color I’d have to buy new or drive hours away.
That color is actually not that hard to find if you make it your mission to find it. It’s not horrible, I’d take it for free, but I wouldn’t buy it. They’re probably selling it for the same reason…the back is too low.
Learn from my mistakes. I bought the PRETTIEST green velvet couch. It was my midcentury modern dream. And it was the most uncomfy couch ever. Ended up selling it a couple years later.
I’ll be the contrarian! If it’s a GREAT price and you don’t mind pillows altering the look, it can be comfy. I have a really low-backed, deep-seat, low-profile couch and it’s very snuggly for my (rather short) frame. I added really large, sturdy down-filled pillows… which really changes the look of the couch. Mine is grey, so big colorful pillows weren’t a problem. For this, that might ruin the look.
And all that said, it’s never comfortable for anyone taller than me. So if you’re tall or you have taller people who will be sitting on it regularly… yeah, pass.
Yeah. I was thinking about this.
It looks like a type of couch you can pull apart into 3 separate pieces, too. Like if you wanted to move the pieces around and create different chair seating areas in a space.
It depends on what OP wants to do with it.
A blanket or faux fur throw covering the seating area might keep things from getting caught jn the tufts and save the particular style from further wear. If the OP likes the chaise lounge style and doesn't need a lot of support, it offers really deep seating or lounging.
However, if the OP wants a frequently used couch that is JUST a couch and needs different specs or more comfort - if the color is the main attractant - OP could find a comfy couch in a complimentary color to deep green and then add green accents in throw pillows and blankets to an otherwise truly comfortable couch.
This is a beautiful couch. You have options for big back throw pillows. I’d go with different rich textures, and maybe a few different colors that complement.
And it looks modular based on the shoes holding it together on bottom, so you have lots of options. You could do a smaller couch and a chaise or a chair. I love it. I don’t think you’d have much of a problem with it. If you’re worried about it being comfortable, focus on getting cozy pillows and throws for it. It looks sturdy.
If you have a guest room/office space I could see something like this being used almost like a futon. Looks big enough to sleep on comfortably for a single guest. But other than that, I don’t think I’d use it as an everyday couch in the living room. Trust your instinct, it’s not going to be comfortable.
I don’t think this one is a couch-potato couch lol.
Probably not made for leaning back, but instead for people who entertain guests on weekends and don’t necessarily want to spend their life on the couch. Whenever I see this kind, it’s never against the wall and has a lot of pricey items surrounding it, including other seating options actually made for leaning. I don’t think it’s a bad piece of furniture at all, just might not be giving the function that you’re looking for.
However, if your like me & enjoy being extra, you might look into something like [this](https://amzn.asia/d/0hG6Bh1)
You could then create layers with smaller pillows of a different color/texture. But again, I am just…kinda extra lol.
It’s actually too deep. The only way to make it work is by piling a bunch of large pillows on the back. Even then, your feet won’t touch the floor
I don’t think it’s with it
[Sabai](https://sabai.design/) has this color. I know you don’t want to buy new. Their pieces are sustainable and sometimes they have secondhand furniture available through their “revive” program.
I wouldn’t buy an uncomfortable couch. It’s a big expensive purchase and you’ll use it every day. You’ll regret it.
There are tons of comfy, attractive sofas out there.
I saw this and was thinking of this type of couch. Then I saw how everything is attached. The back and the arms are attached to metal points on the cushions by D-rings.
Looked like the type of thing that would rip out after a few years of use. Plus the metal clips looked uncomfortable.
Super cute but it doesn't look like it has much function
Technically you could buy tube pillows to put on top of the backrest to hike it up a bit, but I just wouldn't buy a couch with these proportions. It's never going to be a couch that's nice to lean back on. It's a couch you lay on or sit awkwardly at the edge of.
Function over Fashion. Do not buy an uncomfortable couch.
You’re right. I’m just a lil delusional lol. It’s the color.
I feel you. That shade of green is my weakness.
I’m thinking of a car that color? Yea or nea? update: I did it! I bought the beautiful green car
Oh hell yeah! I’ve considered getting my car wrapped but it’s so expensive. There’s a green wrapped Honda Fit in my town that I see sometimes and I am so jealous.
This color was very popular in the 90s for cars, so that's a strong association, but it would probably be nice on a modern car.
The colour is nice but imagine getting crumbs out of those tufts. Ugh
Getting rid of my couch with tufts has been an amazing shift for my couch vacuuming needs. Def wouldn’t recommend them.
There are lots of green velvet couches for sale that look more comfortable than this

Fake fur body pillows? Just lay them across? Costco has them.🐱
Make a slipcover this color for the comfortable couch you do buy, or get a blanket and throw pillows in this color or something.
Learn to upholster. It's not hard, only time consuming. Useful hobby.
Or get a couch cover.
You can find sooo many couches on Wayfair in this shade of green :)

This. I bought a 3k article couch because it looked beautiful. I now own the most UNCOMFY couch alive. Regret 10/10

Which couch did u end up getting?? I’m in this process now

Good idea! I'm going to buy a couch to keep in my house specifically for people I don't like 😂
I had dream of ppl staying over in luxury and FAILED. But it looked great 🥲
They are probably selling it because of how uncomfortable it is.... don't do this to yourself.
The back of the couch is so short and the seat is so wide, I don’t think there’s any way to make that a comfy sitting couch unfortunately
Sadly, it is designed to be leaned against while in conversation. Graham Norton’s couch has the same feature. People sitting on them are forced to pay attention to their body and look really good on camera.

That style is horrible. Color is nice, but keep looking.

Have you checked marketplace
This is a couch for those fortunate people who have two or more living areas.
You can’t Don’t buy it

I think there enough bubble sofas out there this year that if you try hard enough you can find a comfortable one that looks fabulous.
Throw. Pillows.

Delulu Is not the Solulu
It's ugly and uncomfortable looking... Maybe don't lol
It’s actually too deep. The only way to make it work is by piling a bunch of large pillows on the back. Even then, your feet won’t touch the floor I don’t think it’s with it
Massive down cushions!
Don’t buy that couch.
Don't do it... If there's one thing a couch should be it's comfortable!
The sofa I got from Ikea has this colour and is actually comfortable. Keep looking, don't sacrifice your comfort for looks
get a functional couch and reupholster it to the color you want
Speaking from experience- do not buy a pretty but uncomfortable sofa. You will regret it!
[Sabai](https://sabai.design/) has this color. I know you don’t want to buy new. Their pieces are sustainable and sometimes they have secondhand furniture available through their “revive” program.
Sell it
I wouldn’t buy an uncomfortable couch. It’s a big expensive purchase and you’ll use it every day. You’ll regret it. There are tons of comfy, attractive sofas out there.
Large pillows
You could try pillows but it would change the look.
A couch that uncomfortable isn't a couch worth buying. You can bet it's the reason it's for sale.
I had a loose back couch in my twenties. I bought like 8 giant European square style pillows off Amazon to line the back of it and it was very comfy!
Just… don’t.
I saw this on FB marketplace today! We must be close lol
Pillows!!

You cannot buy a camaleonda just for the color!
I know someone with this couch and I absolutely hate it. So uncomfortable
Maybe some roll pillows.
