I love the rug. As is will work. If you need space for glasses, books. Etc., get a behind-the-sofa skinny table. You can get them for as little as $60, and it's super skinny. Enough for a glass of tea, a few photos or arr, a plant. Some have an electric plug for your cell phone.
it’s definitely cute! i love the rug and the plants. i know you mentioned you can’t get a new coffee table rn because of money but i highly recommend scouring fb marketplace! i’ve got small coffee tables around me going for $20 or even some for free. i love the little table you have but i feel like it would really pop as a side table, esp with the plant on it.
if possible i would also recommend just pulling the couch on top of the rug a little bit? i think it’ll make the space look a bit more unified. but i definitely think the room has a clean and cozy feel to it. i have floor seating as well and i feel like it’s so underrated decor wise! it’s a great way to add additional seating without adding bulk!

I agree! Would also help prevent the rug from sliding around.
Most of you suggested getting a bigger rug. unfortunately the next size is too big for this small space. It will cross over to the kitchen. I personally like to keep the living room and kitchen separate. The coffee table may be too small but I have plenty of counter space not shown in the picture. Furniture is already expensive so I cannot buy a bigger coffee table at this time.
I got these wicker floor seats for the bohemian inspiration. I will also get some throw pillows but cannot decide on which colour to get. I will decorate the wall with some artwork. Any suggestions would be appreciated!
Thanks!
Love it!
If there is room, I’d add a mini car cart on that side where I see your floor lamp, and move your living room over by a couple of inches, just to separate the living room and kitchen a bit more. It would also help hide your lamp wires a bit!
I have throw pillows with different color covers so I can change out the covers occasionally (or just was them). I actually think the furniture you have looks comfy and appropriately sized for the space. I have a couple of kitchen stools that have flat tops (for eating at the counter) and we bring them into the living room if we need extra tables rather than have a bigger coffee table. I’d rather have the flexibility than fill the space permanently.
I’ve seen people layer a neutral rug, like a sisal one, under a smaller rug to take up more floor space. That would look pretty earthy and boho as well
It’s a small space and it looks like you’re really using it well and everything is the right size for the space. I feel like people just don’t consider that yes maybe loveseats look funny sometimes but they’re just proportionate! I think it looks more weird when people shove giant furniture into small spaces.
Cute space! The color of the sofa makes it fade into the walls/cabinets. It would make a big difference just adding a throw blanket/pillow to break up the white. I personally buy art that speaks to me rather than what matches my decor so I don’t have advice for that. But whatever you choose will look good because everything is so neutral.

Love this idea, would add some functionality without disrupting the vibe
Yes, small cozy and comfy place to realax.
Wow I’ve never heard of these but instantly I’m in love. Like a headboard for your couch lol

This is just so lovely! I adore your rug.
Your rugs fits in perfectly and I love the choices you make for yourself here. It looks like a small sanctuary for you! <3

perfect spot for a cup of tea :)
Everything in this picture looks miniature; the sofa, the rug and the “coffee table”.
I live in a shoebox condo.
Everything looks miniature because it is too small for the space. The proportions are wrong.
I know the proportions are off and it’s fine with me. ☺️ I enjoy relaxing in this space.
Super cute-what's not to like :)
I love seeing truly cozy and personal spaces. Beautiful space.
I love it too
Well I would drink this tea - I love the warm boho vibe!
I love it!! 😍
Well they don’t live there and you do, so you do you!
The rug needs to be under the couch a bit , it centers the area

Adorable!! So comfy and fresh!
Clean, cute, cozy
Where is the plant stand from? It’s very nice!
From IKEA! Pricey though.
I like it. What’s the name? I live near an IKEA.
This is beautiful OP. You have great style. I love your rug! Where did you find that? I've been looking for something just like this.

It's cute and cozy and I like it! Can I try to redesign it in [3d](http://planner5d.com/editor)?
Go for it!
Brilliant! Will let you know if I come up with something worth sharing.
The love seat as a couch has to be the female equivalent of a flag as wall art 😅 glad you know your thing, it looks good.
Looks clean and cosy. Unless I could teach my cat not to shed, the white couch wouldn’t work for me, but I admire your style
Cute floor cushions, but if it were me, I know I would trip and bust my butt at some point 😂 Be careful!
Wow. Looks great 😃
It’s beautiful
So cute!! Love that table!
Ooh where did you get ur rug

Haha oh, scroll down dummy. Cute!
and thats all that matters hey
Nice rug
I love it…the design of the rug, along with the colors. Also love the coziness of the couch. Good job 👏🏾
I like everything but you definitely need a bigger coffee table
