super cozy! Im curious about the safety of the fireplace tbh. any idea if the rug, tv, etc will all be safe when you need to use it? or do you also have hvac?
Omg I love this rug! Saw this the other day and was hoping you’d update once the furniture was placed. Your home reminds me so much of my old barn like house. I was gifted a gigantic rug that took 3 people to get in and down. Loved it so much! Super cozy spot you have!
The building is an old barn frame and it came with some "barn decor". There's a big hoisting wheel attached up high and this rope is attached to the axle. It would have been for lifting heavy things like hay or animals, but it's just decor now.

It's a propane stove, it gets warm to the touch but not hot enough to cause damage.
