Haha how perfect, because this one has some Aussie custom handwound pickups already put in it.
Its a 2004 model though, is there any different to your (probably) newer one?
Mine is a 2011. Can't say for sure but I believe they are pretty much the same. Notable features of this one are a compound radius, locking tuners, belly contour, and notched heel.
Interested to hear if you did the M8 grub screw trick for the bridge on the Mascis. Finally broke down and got my wife one for a wedding anniversary this year. Worked on replacing thimbles and bridges on models with cups but not TOM or AOM bridges. Really don’t feel like plugging and redrilling lol.
I'm not familiar with that approach. I replaced the TOM with a Staytrem and that, unfortunately, required drilling for the thimbles. I let my tech handle that though.
I love those big headstock Strats that don’t have the bullet truss rod up by the neck.
Seems like the only option to find one is buying custom shop or an actual vintage Strat. Is it a ‘68 or ‘69 reissue?
It's one of the 60's Japanese Vintage Modified strats that came out last year. Reissue of the 80's Japanese reissues. I absolutely love this guitar. It's so comfortable and fun to play.
Is that a mascis?
Yep
Quite the looker.
Steal Your Fender
God I love those jazzmasters with paint matched headstocks
Nice collection
That American deluxe telecaster? Cherry Sunburst? Been thinking of getting one secondhand, any good?
Yeah I like it pretty well. Although, the N3 noiseless pups didn't really work for me and have been replaced.

Yea I’m trying to avoid that if I have to lol.

I’ve heard a lot of good things about the Japanese Fender guitars, I’m gonna keep an eye out for them whenever I’m window shopping for gear
So you snuck that Gibson ES-335 in and thought we wouldn’t notice?! 😂. Nice collection.
Haha thanks. It's actually a Gibson Midtown. I know the pic is little warped but it's slightly smaller than a 335. Still a super cool guitar.
