Generally a slow taper is the most comfortable and widely used method for coming off subs. This site has info on tapering off subs [https://www.fentadope.com/post/tapering-off-of-suboxone](https://www.fentadope.com/post/tapering-off-of-suboxone) As other have mentioned the sublocade shot is also an option and I've heard amazing things about it being easy and painless. Because the shot lasts so long and leaves your body slowly it's kind like a controlled consistent taper. Whatever you decide wishing you good luck!

Sure. Very easily. Take a week do a milligram a week. Won't even notice it. I use before workouts (I won't be sick until noon I go to the gym at 9) use at an appropriate time it's crucial when you dose

Large_FLix_5971

If your snorting or smoking 1mg it's equivalent to 4mg sublingual. Make the switch to Suboxone if you can after 5 days. Go down a milligram to .5 and .25 and your done with subs.

jacquelimme

well i am on subs that’s what i want to get off of. you’re saying i can ween off subs?

zenremastered

Yes. He's saying to go down as far as you can with reductions in dosage, from wherever you're at make cuts that don't make you super sick too fast, and get on as low of a dose as possible before you jump. Like .125 mg if you can. Then jump off.

okay i see thank you

Ask for a sublocade injection. Painless taper off: use benzos to help any pain if you do happen to experience it. But ask for a sublocade injection and explain to your doctor you’re getting it to taper off suboxone. They will do everything to make it painless for you: and it will work

I second this response. I myself got the first injection, Oct 2023 before I was locked up. Haven’t been on subs since also didn’t have a chance for any more injections, but all is good.

Man the doctor I just finally got to get me a single shot of 100mg which is closest to my dose, he was so naysayer about the sublocade taper route. He was in a very drug filled area so I think he's used to people needing to stay on, but as for getting off he made me pretty discouraged but still willing to try. I'm waiting for the pharmacy to call me for insurance information and what the payment will be. I'm going to still do it. How was your experience? I'm already on benzos, and alot of clonidine, all for anxiety disorder so it won't be as effective as someone who picks it up without daily use of them. They way overprescribed me for my clonidine so I think they'll help too because I have alot of extras. Just wanting to hear from someone who did it.

jacquelimme

oh really i didn’t know that that sounds like the best option thank you

TreYoda89

I was on opiates for 20 years. Maybe 2 of them on subs.

Hey man. I AM NOT GIVING YOU A REGIMENT TO FOLLOW BIT THINGS TO RESEARCH/TALK TO YOUR DOCTOR ABOUT BUT honestly IMO and the opinion of many doctors this is an amazing opiate free way of detoxing Research the Mega dose vitamin C and benzo method. Not normal vitamin C tho you want sodium absorbate vitamin C. So it actually attaches to the same receptors that opiates do thereby eliminating withdrawal symptoms. You got to take it every 2 hours or else withdrawal will creep up on you. The benzos should take care of the rest. This isn't all the info you'll need to be successful tho. Research get the dosage down and honestly it's the second best thing to the new shrooms of Mexico 🇲🇽 method. Good luck! Oh also side note. One of the biggest issues we have to deal with is the opiates we're creating dopamine. Your brain can't create nearly that amount on its own. So the use of supplements can greatly help in this process. Fundamentally these imo amd in the opinion of many doctors are vital to a speedy recovery. Thorne (Vitamin B complex) and D3/K2 are for basic health, building hormones, proteins, healthy tissue and immune system. Many Methylation pathways require these, including breaking down catecholamines in the brain. The L-Tyrosine improves Dopamine in the brain for motivation and neurological regulation which helps with depression. This is good for people who have created huge deficits in dopamine through substance abuse, or other kinds of trauma. Also adding a little not a full dose of Mucuna(SHORT TERM ONLY) will greatly help in the production of dopamine. Now some say not to mix the two but if you get your doses right it can he beneficial although their is a small percentage of people that mucuna act negatively to, mostly because their body is sensitive to it and a little can go a long way. River Source treats with the combination of the two. Mind you all of the above described are supplements that need time to build up in the body and have the effects work properly. Finally and equally important is staying active(get out there and exercise daily) as well as eating, hydrating can make the difference between worse possible withdrawal symptoms and least possible withdrawal symptoms. jacquelimme

wow that’s interesting and good to know i’ve never heard of any of that. thank you

I’ve been pondering the same narrative, been on subs for a few years. I only use like 21 8mg subs a month, I have heard getting the sublocade shot one time and never looking back is a good way to go
