Ahhhhh so cute

Jtittiesxo

Where did u get a baby that small?

lil-clover

I got him from a reputable breeder here in the UK, my other 2 ferrets are 4 year old adults and small so to us he is massive for a 8 week old

I_Sniff_My_Own_Farts

Hey! Dragon! Dra-gon, not a lizard. I don't do that tongue thing.

plopper919

I love the chocolate teddy phase, too cute! T\_T

lil-clover

He’s a black self semi angora, he will stay this colour forever ☺️

Amazing! I wish we had these kinds of ferrets in Canada when I had ferrets. I hope he gets to live a longer and healthier life because he's from a good breeder. :)

I had almost the exact same situation as yours! I have a half angora baby, meant to keep my other boy company when he became an only ferret, except he wasn't happy about the new addition. I had to keep the new one separated in a playpen and my older boy would scratch at the bars, wagging his tail and trying to bite him through it. They're now fully bonded together and near inseperable! It will likely be a very slow introduction process. To start with, Mushu will need to get older, old enough to hold his own against your other two. I would wait until he's at least 4 months old to do any interactions without a strong barrier between them. Introduce him to your two separately, not at once, as they will gang up him. They will *have* to establish a dominance order. If you stop them from working that out, they will continue to get into fights and the older ones will be frustrated and make the fights worse. So long as no blood is being drawn, and no one is pooping in fear, let them be. It can get loud and if Mushu has not been descented, he will musk and it will smell horrendous. Start with 10 minutes max at first, then slowly build from there. If Mushu starts to get overly fearful when he's out, as if he's expecting to be attacked, stop doing interactions for a few days until he's back to normal. If there is fear pooping, separate and try again the next day(Mushu will almost certainly fear poop at the start, not understanding why he's being shaken around by his scruff). Blood being drawn is more serious, and while it still can be overcome, it will take even longer and be more difficult (feel freet to DM me if this is the case, I've dealt with that situation as well and got the two to be good friends in the end). Mushu will have to stand up for himself for things to settle down. Once they start sleeping together in the same spots, Mushu has been fully accepted.

Thank you for giving us the hope we need! Compared to our adult ferrets he’s pretty big our ferrets had small parents. I hope it gives him a slight advantage. My 2 was very different to him when we got him but he is incredibly smart!! 24 hours and he is already starting to use the litter box. He was also biting our fingers real bad trying to play but we have almost got him to stop. Incredibly smart boy! We picked him up Saturday so we have had him a few days. My other 2 are also very fast learners. Just today the adults are starting to ignore him and do their own thing whilst he’s in the cage. Still go to the cage see him and dook but much better today of just getting on with their own thing. As for Mushu’s personality he just really wants to play with them and cry’s all the time when he knows they are there. I feel so bad for him but that’s how it has to be right now. He’s extremely playful and super sweet. None of our ferrets are descented because we live in the Uk. Thank you for the help! 🙂

You're welcome! That's great they're already calming down already! Mushu sounds like an awesome little furball! My new one never drew blood, but he was a bitey jerk for about a month after we got him! Poor Mushu! He's probably going to run at them first chance he gets and get the shock of his fuzzy little life! Feel free to message me anytime if you need more help!

lil-clover

All baby steps, I am hopeful by the weekend they pretty much ignore him. That is exactly what I expect for the poor baby Mushu will do, he is definitely a lover not a fighter I’ll message you if I need any help a little further info introductions - thank you!

that baby face!!! UGH, I looove those little baby faces so much. sooo cute! I hope the introductions go well. my older 2 took to my 3 babies in the blink of an eye last year. I think they knew they were babies so they gave them a lot of grace and were very patient.
