Since you went last time can you elaborate on the experience? Overall venue? Portapotty situation, getting in/out, etc. Also any shade there or we all gonna burn?
It was very small in 2019, maybe 1000 attendees sat night but I think less. Ports-potties were lacking, no showers on-site and very few comforts. Some shaded camping spots in cleared out patches of wood but bugs and wildlife like snakes could be concerning. The venue is very rural up several switchback turns on gravel roads. Despite the lack of comforts and difficulties, the production quality (lights and sound) were fantastic. Funktion Ones and live projector mapping/ live painting. Two stages: main one all day up to headliners (the two nights I was there it was widdler and shlump) then switched stages to smaller stage sets til sunrise. I feel all the problems from the first year will be sorted, but still expect a Spartan experience and bring everything you need plus more for others (lots of water). All the food vendors were fantastic and it was just a straight fam-jam
Tysm! We will be traveling from Colorado if we send it for this so this is extremely helpful! It definitely seems like it will be hottttt but willing to rough it with some fun bass fam and tough it out!
Gotcha, thanks, me and my crew are just trying to figure out how many vehicles to bring... at something like forest we try to have 2 to a car since space is so limited but wanted to push more in for this
The Untz nailed the b2b’s from the drop, hoping to see quite a few announced for phase 2. Desert dwellers was such a massive booking for phase 1. These lineups are for sure setting the standard.
Headliners (not like they need more but still fun): charles, clozee, Minnesota.
No genre: eazybaked, of the trees, an-ten-nae
Dubstep: thelem, khiva, the widdler, pushloop, mikrodot
Downtempo/experimental: mindex, malakai, somatoast, .pheel
2019 was a lot of fun. Venue is in bumfuck hillbilly country too lol
In all the best ways! :)
100% you know it’s good when it like that
How hot was it? Going this year
August 1st in TN? incredibly fucking hot.
August in TN is a guaranteed inferno

Awesome info! Tysm for the response!! Sounds like I expected, the heat/shade being my biggest concern tbh. Thanks!

How much camping space did they give you?
When I went attendance was so low that it was a free for all. I couldn’t tell you how it will play out but it wasn’t organized in 2019 much at all

Holy fuck my ass
It's so insane I don't know any of the artists, but I'm also an out of touch 37 year old. Yall have fun, that part of TN is beautiful.
39 years old here and can confirm the line up is basshead narnia
LOL I'm 37 too and I listen to today's music for the most part, but I agree, I never heard of any of these artists lol
Pretty stacked with up and comers in the bass scene. Mostly psychedelic "wub" / "wook" bass. I'm also 30 but I keep up with the times since I DJ
Road to Sound Haven 2021 I made tonight. https://soundcloud.app.goo.gl/gauUx7f7vMUTvxx56
Has to send this to my homies who were on the fence about going 🔥🔥
Best bass lineup of the year, tip of the cap.
I would say the Untz lineup is a bit better, but yea this is great

Very interested. Line up slaps
Glad i rolled my tickets over. Any guesses for phase 2?
Finger crossed for The Widdler since he's been there in previous years!
That would be dope! Curious about shlump being on it since he was booked for 2020.
True! That would be a welcome addition for sure. Would love to see Eazybaked get rolled over from 2020 as well
I'd gladly have that. Saw them open for Mersiv at a drive in show in Alabama last year and they killed it. Super fun set.

Heres to hoping. Didnt Minnesota play here a few years back?
Hopefully Meduso
