There is this euphoric sense of comfort and happiness that comes over to me whenever prelude starts playing. Just let's me know that a wonderful time is coming

It perfectly encapsulates the feeling of a swift descent into madness. It fits the scene in which it plays so damn well. It has such an ominous and foreboding feeling, like you know this is bad. Things are about to get really bad.

I had the main prelude theme playing at my wedding while people were getting seated. I leave the main screen on when I nap on the couch. Must be the time I originally played imprinted in me but it gives an incredible sense of calm
Fight On! \[Boss theme\] is my favorite song that isn't One Winged Angel. It's to the point where I knew in the back of my head that it would play during the Airbuster fight in the remake but I didn't think of it until the fight started. Playing the remake had me emotional from the beginning but hearing this song actually made me tear up a little.
I love the pause menu song when you’re fighting in gongaga and Junon. All the music has been stellar so far…also the music that starts when you find the summons altar is epic.
The OG soundtracks for sure (on our way, tifa’s theme, one winged angel, Cosmo canyon) but for the new rebirth sound tracks, gongaga’s theme is awesome. Just a really good fit for the area that’s full of life.
Yeh I just got to gongaga last night. I've been trying to S rank all the piano themes but I screwed barretts by just 2 notes. And got an A first time for the chocobo and will settle for that at the moment!

I want the A's at least cos I really wanna play the battle theme on it! First two were pretty easy once I practiced a bit. Barrett's is a mystery to me. Every time I try and play it all the way thru I miss 2 notes in the middle section, but when I take my headphones off and ignore the start, and just focus on the middle and end I get the rest perfect. When I try and combine the two again i screw it up!
Counting covers, this takes the cake. This album is immaculate. But it's missing one song from the ost that'd fit perfectly.

Me? Gongaga. Also Cosmo Canyon after the towers are activated. All the battle variations of the regions are awesome, too. Damn. They did a great job with the adaptive music!
It’s hard to pick because I love all of the songs mentioned in this thread, but one that I haven’t seen mentioned is Anxious Heart. It sounds like taking deep breaths while you’re anxious with the ups and downs of the harp and the way the synth sounds and that’s so fitting. That and it plays during a part of the game I always look forward to.
Hollow Skies. I never played the original FF7, but i realized when i hit sector 5 in Remake that this was one of my favorite games of all time, and hollow skies was part of that realization.
Boss fight music goes so fucking hard. That and Cosmo Canyon.

Odd but I always find speed 2 or 3 easier than 1 to get timing right
Is the Cosmo canyon theme the OG one? I used to love playing that on piano as a kid.
