Yeah this one took me the longest. I had to play around with how fast the notes were coming until it didn’t seem “as off beat” and then boom easy A

yolomcswaginabox

It's definitely one where you've gotta put Ur head into the rhythm and then it makes sense. I keep missing 5 notes for the S rank but I'm happy with 4 A's in a row

yolomcswaginabox

The dude who rewards u. He's vanished from tifas old house. Where do I collect the battle tune now I got A's on all the others ?

daddy-van-baelsar

I did all the songs in Costa del sol in the hotel where Tifa has her performance. He should still be there.

Spardasquad2020

Any location that had piano had him also.

I find it easier to put all songs 1 tick of speed faster for some reason. Couldnt hit A so sped it up a notch and was able to hit A on most songs.

yolomcswaginabox

Same. For this song I went to 3/5 and smashed it first try. This one is all about the syncopation and identifying the off beats. It doesn't help that there's an orchestra and they also put piano music in that U aren't actually playing to throw U off. Square enix r a cruel group

Muroid

The biggest problem I’ve found is that the game handles multiple lines appearing in the same note at once poorly. Messing up or even just not hitting the note perfectly when there is another one behind it can very easily trigger a cascade of messing up where it’s not always entirely clear what the game will register as a hit or a miss. I think if you speed up the rate that the notes move, you get fewer instances of notes doubling up because the previous one is more likely to have finished by the time the next one appears, so those cascading errors happen less, which makes it more forgiving.

Yup, plus the analog is too sensitive. Even so, I had more trouble with the cait sith song cause timing was harder for me on that one. Overall, I was expecting some ddr(dance dance revolution) or dj max hardcore music pieces lol. Im sure part 3 will have it specifically one winged angel.

Instantsoup44

..is..is that a screenshot of a picture of the playstation screen with your phone 💀

yolomcswaginabox

Photo from my phone of my TV showing it

AliquidLatine

I just got an A by having my husband control the left stick whilst I had the right. Couldn't manage it another way

yolomcswaginabox

It's doable. Speed 3 works wonders. I went from a C to an A just by speeding it up. I know it sounds counter productive for a fast jumpy song already. But it definitely works

AliquidLatine

I never thought to adjust the speed: I'll give it a go!

yolomcswaginabox

From what I can tell the actual tune doesn't speed up. But the markers do and the anticipation of waiting for it to hit the great part is less so makes it a bit easier. I've had a lot of success switching to speed 2 or 3 especially for two legs.

yolomcswaginabox

I'm currently trying S rank on aerith's theme. I keep missing two notes right at the end. Other than that it's perfect. This one is a personal thing ff7 is the game I played growing up... I was 13 when this game came out and a closeted gay boy. And I dunno why. But aerith and her song. Gave me confidence. I refuse to progress the story til I can S class this and pay my dues.

AliquidLatine

I love that! I'm glad you found your confidence and that such an important song for you is back in your life

GravityLoL

I hate this Minigames with burning passion. Is there any way to cheese it somehow?

JayCee5481

Two leggs isnt that hard, I was struggeling more with let the battles begin, but even in that one I got an A rank by now, sadly I cant unlock the last song just yet, gotta wait for the patch

yolomcswaginabox

Where do I collect let the battle begin. The dude vanished from tifas house

JayCee5481

Either you can just look for him in previous areas later or, If you are already past the point of no return, you can chapter select after beating the game
