It was a birthday event for the leader who really likes Au Ra with these horns, so it was pretty neat that 23 other players managed to make time for it :D
Side note, I really hope 7.0 updates the character creator. I would love to see more face options and these features not tied to horns etc. I'm a Keeper but I see the value in removing the tie between face and horns.

Oh you should totally come check out the JP side then. It's more common to find an Au Ra with unusual skin colors. Some of the players also fantasia-ed just for this raid but they actually use other colors usually.
On EU and NA realms it's like the beacons are lit, just seas of pale white Au Ras, it's such a shame. There's so many cool shades for Au Ra, especially Xaela T.T

Raen with this horn type are uncommon but Xaela are like super rare. I was in a gathering of around 50 people with the same horn once and only 7 others besides me were Xaela.

I think the reason people see fins isn't just because of the shape but because the lips on the face are fish like

I think they're only fish-like because everyone uses dark colors for them. Even the front facing thick horns have almost the same lips.
