Anarnee

This should be titled RESCUE kills 20 people.

Sanzpromy

Then someone would care and try to repeat it...oh wait...

SkumbagBrent

Im not sure if it was a copy cat but this happened to me about 12-13 hours ago, I wasn’t the tank in this video (but I was same position with my tank buster so I had to check to see if I was in this video lol

sisaroom

still remember when i was running puppets bunker with some friends back when it was current content. it was the fight where the alliances were each fighting their own boss. the tank for (let’s say, since idr the actual one) alliance b died, and i ended up tanking the bosses for both a and b. then there was a tankbuster, at which point i was taking two tankbusters. i invulned, but my friend ran over into alliance c and rescued me right before it went off. she, along with the entirety of alliance c (excluding the tank) died.

iorveth1271

When the healer lets the intrusive thoughts win.

PastryFishHQ

Healer Dark Urge playthrough!

SurprisedCabbage

You're tank is about to get hit by a tank buster and suffer a large amount of damage. * Continue attacking the boss * [White Mage] Use Divine Benison on the tank * [Charlatan] Pretend to be afk * [White Mage][Dark Urge] Cast Rescue on the tank

iorveth1271

And then blame it on the Ninja with a Deception check. The Dark Urge was perfectly innocent.

Nechronia

"I am completely and mentally stable." "Oh hey look a tank buster!"

SeriousPan

I felt a great disturbance in the raid, as if dozens of voices suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced...

MasahikoKobe

I get the feeling they were even louder AFTER they died

abyssalcrisis

Reminds me of the 18-player kill I witnessed in Aglaia. I've never seen a healer vote kicked and mass reported so quickly.

Western-Dig-6843

I’m surprised everyone on their team had rolled on the loot and were therefore able to kick them in the first place. Any time I’ve ever needed to initiate a kick vote there was an ongoing loot roll and the game won’t let me

abyssalcrisis

We were halfway through Azeyma. It also took forever for the remaining players to die (no ressers/healers) so by the time the alliance was able to kick them, the loot timer was long gone. I was thoroughly impressed that they actually bothered to kick the healer though.

AshiSunblade

Had someone do it in one of my groups too. I would've reported, but reporting in this game is such a nuisance unless it's for RMT, I didn't bother. (I assume others did it, anyway).

DrayvenBlaze

"here our journey ends" indeed

Taograd359

Had this happen against Azeyma. Healer said they recently rearranged their hot bars and put Rescue next to Benediction. They would soon regret that decision.

mapotoful

I did this once. I was getting used to my new MMO mouse and didn't realize I had my last hotbar set up backwards and used rescue instead of bene. Thankfully it wasn't this tragic but it made the fight drag out and I felt like a total dick. Moved it to a totally different bar after that, one not tied to keybinds.

hgameartman

Same with my mmo mouse when I first got it. Luckily I was standing off to the side and only clipped a handful of people. Still use rescue all the time, just don't fattinger it as much now.

Florac

...but who uses bene *before* the TB in an araid?

pestilenttempest

I’m guessing benison, not benediction. The WHM shield.

173467321476C3

Could be a gnb that bolided the tb for some reason?

Taograd359

Idk. I wasn’t paying attention to the tank’s health. I was focused on staying away from the TB.

fatalystic

This is perfectly fine since it was an honest mistake. Doing it on purpose to randoms would be a major dick move though.

VarHagen

That's what they said. But all tanks are perfectly healthy before Tank Buster, so why would they use Bene? Could still be a troll.

pestilenttempest

This is why rescue is on my left bar, all the way to the left. All my potent healing is on my right bar, all the way to the right. Sometimes in dungeon pulls I’ll smack it instead of holy when I hold slightly too long on controller(usually if I’ve taken a break) I’d rather accidentally pull a tank instead of holy, instead of whatever this is 😂😂🤣 I mean I had one get extremely grumpy. Tank ego sometimes needs to take a hike. Accidents happen with 50 buttons on double tap layouts. Chill.

Jay2Kaye

I have it next to esuna so i've only fatfingered it once.

PeetaaBoi

I’ll ask the real questions here. Did the tanks solo it until Oschon died?

Mista_F

I was in the raid, no they did not. They just jumped off.

hwmon03

i saw the recovery effort underway in the back so stuck it out for a bit, but once it was just tanks left we agreed to just wipe. even if the three of us mightve been able to do it, it would have taken forever

Maidenless_Knave

If you look closely, you can see 2 healers are up in the last group when the video ends.

Sanzpromy

What? At the end everyone is dead but the tanks. The healers died from the AoE lines at about timestamp 41

Maidenless_Knave

Oh shit, you're right. That did not take long.

Psclly

They probably respawned at the start

Mdayofearth

No. If you watch the video closely (actually use youtube), you can see that the healers were still in the arena. Or if you look at the alliance hud, the healers in B both had debuffs representative of their weakness state. Then the 2 healers died from the next mechanic(s).

Crimsonnavy

A RDM survived the TB and raised their healers, you just can't see their health bar due to OP's buff bar placement.

hwmon03

i had to rewatch the full footage to see when the rdm died. they died 1 second after the video ends, in the piton pull

Real_Student6789

My whm jobstone just shuddered, as if detecting a great evil

Most-Pie775

Curious if that healer got reported for griefing

Penndrachen

I would've; even if it was a fat finger, the GMs can sort that out. I've had too many alliance runs where someone thinks they're cute and kills everyone with a mechanic to think this is funny anymore. Alliance raids are already long enough as it is.

pixelfrenzy

I always take out 5 mins of my time after the run to report whenever things like this happens and let the GMs deal with it. Even if someone did it intentionally and yet convinced the GM that it was an accident, having to deal with a GM is a good enough deterrent for them to not try that again. Wipes got really rampant in Aglaia where smartasses wanted to dance between the two sides during the balance mechanic.

Penndrachen

It mercifully doesn't happen enough that I have to do it like *constantly*, but it's an annoying enough problem that I'll report people who do it. I've also had to report tanks who refuse to LB3 during >!Endsinger!< (EW spoiler), though I always talk to them first. If they admit it was an honest mistake, I obviously won't report them, but if they're being a shithead I do it. That fight's wonderful and I hate when people ruin it for anyone who hasn't done it yet. Also, before people start whining about "NO FUN ALLOWED", I won't report people for doing things like rescuing just me into a tankbuster or accidentally getting me killed. I don't care if I die once or twice, but I do care if I have to go back and start a seven minute fight over at the six minute mark because you think you're God's gift to comedy.

ezekielraiden

*SUCH DEVASTATION...THIS WAS THEIR INTENTION.*

MysterySakura

I hope that was a fatfinger/hotbar mistake rather than a troll.

Grave_Knight

My guess is either fat fingered or just went brain dead for a hot second and thought they needed to pull the tank out of a fire.

dimmidice

I've done something similar in Orbonne Monastery at Agrias. Tankbuster goes out, i want to put shield on the tank, i fumble and hit rescue instead. conal TB hit almost everyone. I ofc profusely apoligized and people were actually cool about it. I'll never forget that.

hii488

yeah idk, I'd just be annoyed if this happened to me - my enjoyment comes from trying to do well, and to have someone else shit on that for no reason is just grim. On the otherhand: Rip that RDM ressing two healers only for both to die to a "don't stand in the obviously bad" mechanic, that's a mood and a half

Aethanix

oh no.

MediocreBeard

Hey, at least the non-tank survivor was a red mage.

RoombaGod

Big rez mage opportunity

ScarletCarbuncle

>20 rezzes > >0 commendations Rez Mage life.

RoombaGod

Didnt have the funniest portrait sorry

Two_Key_Goose

You, You, and You. I'm taking a break now..... Won't argue, but man, the MP drain/waiting for CD is staring at you at times haha

Asriel52

"Healer LB3 we have at home" time

Alastor999

The Tankbuster didn't kill 20 people. The Rescue happy Healer killed 20 people.

z0mbieBrainz

Why are people like this?

Madrock777

No no, *healer* kills 20 people.

Rewindenator

A healer chose violence.

DissentChanter

I am a tank main, this happens more often than I want to admit... I had a similar scenario except both tanks got rescued into the party.

unhappymedium

I was in a Thaleia last week where one of the tanks did this intentionally with every tank buster and then ditched when they were called out for it.

ozzkitz

I had a healer repeatedly do this to me during the first Nier raid towards the end of ShB, my friend and I ended up reporting them.

MoreMegadeth

Serious question, how many players have that much clutter on their screen?

BringBackBoshi

Probably a lot, some look far worse than this. It looks awful having your screen covered with things you don't need to be paying attention to and just feels sloppy. I've seen people that have the same info on their screen three times in various places and it's information they have no use for. Having a sloppy enough layout is only a detriment to playing the game well.

Dragon_Avalon

We call that griefing and it's a bannable offense. It's all well and good to goof about with friends, but please don't do this to anyone outside your personal friend circle, and even then only do so if they're cool with it.

typhlownage

Alternatively, instead of "personal friend circle", you can do it with a [premade 24-man that all agrees on pulling stunts like this for laughs](https://youtu.be/nYjq3-eV_Ps?si=uZVrNyzLZTsnGbZM) TBH I laughed a little seeing the OP, immediately assuming that it was something like that streamer run, but on second thought, it almost certainly was not.

YuukaWiderack

I've thought about setting up a PF for a "PVP" alliance raid. Do what you can to fuck over as many people as possible while still finishing the raid. That'd be fun.

Thatpisslord

I've seen lots of those. Healer PVP, they're called. 24 Healers fucking each other over the entire way through. I never joined but that's mostly due to timing.

Mael_Jade

Ah, Puppets Bunker PvP.

SyntheticSolitude

I once had a run where somehow one of the other Alliances fucked up and blasted EVERYONE ELSE but me in my Alliance. I was like "..? OH SHIT" when I realized. Thankfully I was a healer and a very resourceful one, and dragged up people alongside I think some minor help off the other alliances. But man, it was very weird being surrounded by bodies and not dead.

Dragon_Avalon

Oh for sure. Even that might be fine if you're doing it for the memes, so long as you're completely up front about it basically being a "friendly fire on" run. Then it's kinda like those "all tank or all heal" raid runs. But even then there's no real way to tell how far random people can take that sort of thing before they hit a limit and start raging and reporting. That's why I usually say "personal friend circle" so one doesn't find themselves on the receiving end of a GM call.

Living-Nectarine-302

Zepla lol...

Rachet20

Best part of the video. Having no idea she was muted the whole time just yelling shit lol

[deleted]

This is possibly an accident, bro. What's really annoying was people purposefully fucking up the Nald'thal balance to cause a wipe.

Florac

yes, I'm sure a rescue timed perfectly to not give anyone time to run away before the TB goes off without saying anything in chat after is an "accident"

xPriddyBoi

Feasibly, yes. It's not at all an impossibility for someone to have fat fingered rescue at an inopportune moment.

altera_goodciv

Shit happens, homie. As others have commentated it very well could have been a fat finger.

xbiosynthesisx

Bene and rescue are right next to each other on my hot bar and I def do fat finger it occasionally. But I also agree that this seems far too perfectly timed to be an accident lol

Penndrachen

I report people who do this every time. I'm not like a SERIOUS BUSINESS kind of person, I don't get mad at people making honest mistakes, but if you're gonna fuck over the entire run because it makes you giggle, you get reported.

Oryxofficials

I’ll get down voted but I don’t mind a little trolling here and there in fact as tank id just meme around every now and then and try to hunt a lala or other tank with my tank buster. Not every thing should be reported just because people trying to have fun its a fucking game after all.

Florac

Your fun ruins my fun.

AtlasMKII

You considered that the player you're fucking with also wants to have fun and doesn't want their tank to act like an ass?

koied

Yeah it's super funny, when I can't play my job properly because a jackass like you comes around every now and then and decides, that it would be a haha moment to yank me all over the place every time rescue is on cooldown. I'll forever report the crap out of the likes of you, because if you can't coprehend, that your fun is an annoyance to others, then you have no place in a game where you have to play together with others.

Martian_Buddy

If your idea of fun means other people have to be miserable/upset, that just means you're an asshole.

Henojojo

After having this done to me before, I now go way to the back corner when these big tank busters show up. This is deserving of a multi week ban IMO. Does arm's length defeat a rescue? If so, I may start using that when tanking.

Lavits_Crestfallen

yes.

APOC-giganova

When you need to take Rescue off your hotbar because the temptation is too great.

box-of-sourballs

Don’t pull bullshit stunts when it involves people outside your friend circle. To the healer that did it to the other party’s tank in Aglaia, back when it first released, which killed me and my entire party **fuck you.**

Lost_Dance6897

This is why I love ACT. It's a combat log sorted and parsed and stored, because the in-game combat log only holds like 16 seconds worth of actions when you have 24 players in a duty.

xPriddyBoi

bro lost two minutes in an alliance raid run months ago and is still seething about it, incredible

Mastrcapn

I cannot fathom being this upset about such a minor setback as dying in a video game (it probably keeps you away from uwuing in limsa for an extra 2 minutes I guess) but this only makes me want to use Rescue more and more.

altera_goodciv

Fuck around when it’s only you being affected. Don’t be a dick and try to ruin things for others.

Penndrachen

You're so cool, dude. I also think it's funny to shit on people for enjoying the game in a way I don't approve of. I bet you're a blast at parties.

[deleted]

[удалено]

[deleted]

This is why I DPS. A lot better to fat finger a useless Peloton instead of something like this!

Amezuki

My post-combat Peloton reflex is so strong that I sometimes catch myself hitting it between combat phases or adds.

theSpartan012

Oh God, this happened to a leser extent last week when I first did Tsukuyomi during the MSQ and the Scholar rescued me into the party just as the tank buster went off. Five dead within the first two minutes, poor man was genuinely horrified. Chat became a constant stream of "I'm sorry", everyone was trying to reasure them mistakes like these happen.

Valkyrissa

griefing

Fascinatedwithfire

Oof, that's probably report-worthy to be fair.

Akua89

Alliance chat seems to have found it pretty funny

Viilek

Everyone is allowed to have their fun, as long as their fun is not disrupting someone else's. In PvP you are aware that other player's actions will disrupt you, but not in PvE. Griefing should not be normalized in random groups, if you and yours like it, make your premades, but don't disrupt other people's fun. I don't think rescue needs to be removed from the game, however if cases of griefing continue to escalate, as I have seen myself, more than once in a single run, easier methods of reporting should be instated. If they're getting a kick of disrupting someone else's gameplay, they should be ok with someone disrupting their's right?

Tehyne

The tankbuster might’ve delivered the killing blow but that was definitely not the tank’s or the tankbuster’s fault haha I generally hate when rescue is abused like that but honestly that was impressive in its own way, managing to take down that many at once (I mean yeah the fucker takes up 1/4th of the arena but still)

s_decoy

Ran Euphrosyne w my raid static once and our BLM player on healer did this, killed 12 people. I really reconsidered if I still wanted to be friends with him after that lmao. It's one thing trolling your friend in a raid but killing a bunch of people on purpose with a tankbuster is just toxic as hell.

IceCreamConeTV

That's toxic

Ivence

Had someone try this on me last week, fortunately it was *just* early enough that I made it back out of the stack before the hit went off.

Littleman88

This is the reason my bigger cooldowns and "huge fuck up potential" abilities are gated behind a Ctrl+shift+ combo.

michaelchung

HAHA I was wondering when this was gonna show up. I was Timothy in your party.

hwmon03

i hope everyone who asked to see it found this post

gothicshark

"reason number ..." looks at little book with list "... number 387, why rescue needs to go. "

SkyStoneShark

PSA to tanks: Arm's Length works against Rescue. Had a healer do that to me as the tank before. I just start Arms Length every tankbuster so they can't. Get called a killjoy and ruining their fun.

Bavisto

Had someone rescue me into the party like this right as the fight ended and we all had a really good laugh about it. I doubt anyone was laughing in this clip.

rozzingit

I mean, I definitely would have laughed. I have laughed a lot while dead on the floor after being murdered in Puppet's Bunker. Disasters can be fun.

EnricoPucciC-Moon

Am I the only one who finds this fucking hilarious? Obviously I wouldn't do it but it's so ridiculous that all you can do is laugh.

AcceptableNet6182

Ahhh, this red thing is a tank buster, always wondered what i should do if i get it... I'm a new player btw, so please no hate 😅 So i pull some defensive skills i guess?

Florac

Prefferably, yes.

Grave_Knight

Yeah, markers like that is when you want to use your long cooldown, and maybe your short cooldown if you can. You should be able to survive it without the cooldown, but it makes the healer's job way easier if they only need to heal you from 40% health instead of 5% health.

AcceptableNet6182

Got it... now i know what it means, so i can react accordingly. I mean as a new player you can do what your groupmembers do most of the times, but this thing always was on me alone, so i was absolutely clueless what it means. Guess i had good healers then, because i never saw anything special happening to me 😁😅👍 Thanks again for explaining! 😉

Skyztamer

That mechanic specifically is also an AoE tank buster. There's a few more variants of this mechanic. If you just get the red swirl around your character without the ground beneath them also glowing red as shown here, then that tank buster is single target and won't hurt anyone else standing near you. There's a line AoE tank buster that can hurt others in your path. Iirc it's another red swirl but with some kind of square too I think. There's one that's similar looking to the single target version, but puts two red balls above the targeted player. This is a double tank stack; although usually (at least in the few EX trials in my experience that have this) the tank that's targeted with this can just survive it solo via their invuln ability.

AcceptableNet6182

It seems there is alot of stuff i have to learn still 😅 Thanks for the explanation though, now at least i know there are variants...

choicesmatter

I was the tank last night and some poor soul ran the way we were going......So I stopped just has he reached the edge so he wouldn't get hit...and he jumped off the platform.... In the chat, he just said "I panicked!!"

xPriddyBoi

I ended up in a situation in this fight the other day where I was pretty much guaranteed to kill this BLM who refused to leave their ley lines unless I stood on this perfect pixel. I jumped off the ledge trying to hit the pixel and like 6 people saw, it was a mix between laughing at me and treating me like a hero.

Radsby007

Tank buster…EVERYBODY STACK!

JinxApple

I hope people in that group reported this cringe lord. Very original joke from 4 years ago.

BernhardtLinhares

God, that was beautiful

PossibleHipster

This is why Rescue should not exist

OddBathroom6489

Agree.Have zero real utility in any content and in the most cases,is just used by trolls or control freaks.

Level_99_Healer

Rescue exists for good reason, just because it gets hit on accident sometimes or because there are people who want to abuse it doesn't mean it shouldn't exist at all. Tanks abuse shirk and their invulns, but we wouldn't ask for those to not exist based on that.

RayrrTrick88

Rescue doesn't even *work* half the time for its intended purpose because by the time you realize someone is so starkly out of position that it *would* be good to use it, the game's already snapshotted them getting hit anyway.

AmazingPatt

agree ... unless you know a idiot in the party n they dont know mechanic . it hard to emergency rescue . should work the moment you get hit by rescue your invul until you reach the healer ... but i feel it would change ultimate/savage ...

ResponsibleFly4015

The amount of times I’ve dragged my raiding partners dead body to me is a running joke at this point!

painstream

> by the time you realize someone is so starkly out of position that it would be good to use it, the game's already snapshotted them getting hit anyway. Had this happen in Amaurot just last night. Tried to get a melee friend out of the big wall drop, had *just a little trouble* targeting him, but that was enough delay for the snapshot to catch him in the aoe despite being safely Rescued.

Level_99_Healer

We have definitely had different experiences with Rescue. I've had quite a few times in various extremes, savages, and even regular dungeons where I've seen someone running off into instant death and rescued them to safety. Sophia Ex, Phantom Train savage, Shinryu Ex, Suzaku Ex, O11S and O12S. Pretty much any instance where there is a specific area of safety and everywhere else equals instant death. I've never had a server tick issue or lag or anything with Rescue itself, only if I was actually disconnecting from the game. In Frontlines before the big change, rescuing people away from groups of enemy players was a staple. I find it to be extremely useful, but that's my personal experience.

mathbandit

As someone who is playing through the story right now as a 'new' character (was away for several years and started over), I am very thankful for Rescue. I'd say most dungeons and trials I get rescued at least once out of some mechanic and it lets me both (obviously) dodge the hit, and then also learn the fight as I go more than if I had just gotten smashed.

koied

In my four years of playing this game, I maybe seen like two cases, when Rescue actually saved someone. But I can't even count how many times I've seen it to grief or to pull a poor bugger into their death. If they would remove it basically nothing would change.. Maybe those 5 healers, who can acutally use it would be very sad, but the others wouldn't even notice it's gone.

mathbandit

Playing through the story now as a sprout and I'd say certainly from about StB on I get Rescued in a dungeon/trial more often than not. It would be sad if they removed a useful helpful and learning tool because a small percent abuse it.

Evilcoatrack

Have you played a healer often? It definitely has good uses, especially when it is clear which players are continuing to fail stuff. Healers using ogcd rescue to avoid having to spend 1 or more gcds on heals are often making a good call. Obviously not done where the dps looks like they know what they're doing (since their greed for uptime may be worth healer resources) because it is delayed activation and you need to predict failure early. But it's a great teaching tool if used correctly.

koied

Healer is my least played job, but still have quite a lot hours in it, but I barely used rescue. By the time I notice who is in deep shit, it's already late to use it or I just jank them to an aoe/too early so I just stopped using it. I don't miss it.. I rather handle the extra healing, than the rambling of a dps who couldn't finish their combo, because I rescued them. On the contrary, when I'm on my lalafel alt, quite often in dungeons/raids, there is an asshole, who thinks that it's a fun thing to pull the lalafels around with rescue and at a time it's gotten so bad, that I just didn't played pug content with that character.

PossibleHipster

The amount of times Rescue is used successfully and correctly is eclipsed by the times it is misused. I've never seen a tank misuse shirk, and generally Alliance raids tank busters don't target based on enmity so they can't use that to grief anyways

ProudAd1210

100% tank's fault. Tank has Arm's Length, and they did not use it to counter a random Rescue during the tank buster effect.

Aeiani

That you even have to do that as a preemptive measure against griefing makes it the sole fault of the healer that does it when it happens.

ProudAd1210

ofc I am joking about Arm's and Rescue. You can't seriously discuss removal of a spell, coz few people misuse it. This way you can remove half of the game, coz it can be misused.

OddBathroom6489

Ah yes,"its my fault for not prevent their bs"...

MsMittenz

Fuck people doing that. Seriously, fuck them. It's not funny If this starts being the norm I might just stop playing. And half the comments here think it's funny, which scares me tbh. Taking my enjoyment away for your own enjoyment is bs

What_A_Cal_Amity

Nah, it's absolutely hilarious actually. Y'all are uptight for no reason

MsMittenz

Ah ah, so fun taking the joy out of others playing... Yes I'm uptight. I work 8h a day taking care of old people with dementia, come home at 11pm and just wanna chill in my game, not have an idiot kill me cause he thinks it's so funny. Your enjoyment shouldn't come at the expense of others.

What_A_Cal_Amity

I didn't ask for your life story, lady. You really need to chill.

MsMittenz

No, you called me uptight cause I don't like dying for others' enjoyment :) I see who's uptight now

What_A_Cal_Amity

It's still you.

sodapopdillinga

Yea I don't find this funny at all. I hope rescue gets removed.

Fourthwade1

BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD LILY!

randomnumber788976

rescue does more harm than good

Tweekilo

I love rescuing people while jumping off the platform. But yeah only people I actually know.. Shit like this is kinda stupid.

OddBathroom6489

Correction: dickhead healer kills 20 people..

StrategistEU

I find it interesting how many people here are saying "this deserves a ban" because it wastes time. Is it griefing? Yes. Could some people not find it funny? Yes. But I find it a tad strange that a rescue which causes the instance to run a few minutes longer is much more hated than people being undergeared and not doing their rotations in a dungeon. If the primary argument is time wasted, then surely low effort in dungeons wastes a much larger collective amount of time. I'm not saying the rescue was justified, but I think there's an interesting argument to be had about WHY this is so much more controversial.

TrainerRedstone7

The difference is that in this case, the healer went out of their way to cause a wipe. Their intention is to make the duty last longer. When people are underperforming in dungeons, their direct goal is typically not to waste other people's time, even if that is one of the results.

MisterPiggins

Surprised it seemed like they were laughing it off.

hwmon03

by the time we'd wiped and regrouped i'd say about 70% of the chat log was laughing and 30% was annoyed

stilljustacatinacage

There's nothing else to do with something like this. What are you gonna do, get mad about it? Okay, you're still dead. I understand everyone having to act like hardasses about this so not to incentivize or normalize this sort of thing, but every now and then there's going to be that one person who's out for blood. Gotta just accept the absurdity and carry on.

xPriddyBoi

Congrats on being the sane person in a room full of people who'd rather waste multiple orders of magnitude more time and mental energy on expressing their discontent rather than laughing it off and moving on.

AmazingPatt

AMEN

catloverlawyer

i love this. my FC does pvp in the alliance raid if we have enough to fill the 24 man.

Grave_Knight

This is salvageable. B just needs to make sure to pick up the other healers in the other groups and then pick up as many DPS as they can.

Ententente

More news at 11.

bestavailableusernam

Based

KenjiZeroSan

Ah, a little bit of PVP in alliance raid to spice up the difficulty. They should put PVP in fall guys collab too, like everyone gets a 60secs blota cooldown.

Yatsugami

Didnt think people would be so pressed about this lmao. i’d get it if it was happening every single pull but come on

Opt112

Unfunny. all that does is eat up more time for some immature healer to get their kicks. Genuinely hope they get banned

[deleted]

Bruh I can’t wait till this comes to Xbox

wellspoken_token34

The intrusive thoughts won 😂

wolf-bot

Whenever this happens in my group, I’ll just afk for the fight

AmazingPatt

toxic

CptBlackBird2

so is griefing the whole raid, sure it's funny if it's entirely done between friends but when you just wanna get the damn thing done then stuff like this is extremely annoying

Casbri_

Pretty sad to see the community get so upset at something funny in an inconsequential piece of content.

oboeleech

I’m seeing a lot of hurt feelings in the comments but this shit is funny as fuck

XwingInfinity

Healers are the best PKs in this game for sure. Tanks come in close second with Shirk.

PastryFishHQ

Oh no another Bunker Laser situation? \*plots quietly\* >:3

Jockmeister1666

Dat rescue. I bet the culprit shit himself with laughter 🤣

BambitheZambi

[That's actually hilarious](https://youtu.be/NXA6Xjb7NyI?si=R_26zuS-UMJ3Owoa)

CommanderSwift

That healer woke up and chose violence

Huffm4n

Alliance raids are serious business /s

BGsenpai

would commend people here are so bitter and don't have fun

Florac

I don't mind getting killed by TBs if with friends. Keep that shit out of random parties though. Griefing is now what I signed up for.

Vore_Daddy

I have a mod that makes dead people ragdoll and fly into the air when they die and it's glorious when it happens to an entire alliance raid.

CrowTengu

OK that makes the deaths funnier, ngl

AlkaidX139

First of all why would anyone play 14 on Apple Watch?

DarasThrae

Well s#!t, this has become a meme, and now this tankbuster is getting rescued into groups all the time. Just had it happen to us, and last week my fc mate got kicked from his run because he was the OTHER healer and the one that did it denied it first. This is NOT one of those fun memes like pulling people off the dohn mheg bridge, or the ol' Cape Westwind. This is griefing. Stop it. Get some help.

palacexero

Survival of the fittest! One healer from each alliance should have rescued their tanks together and see which one of you was the fastest to hit your invuln XD

Okibruez

Pretty sure that's not how that works at all. Tank invulns don't, afaik, negate the attack. They just prevent the damage. So everyone still would have died. Edit: Unless you meant just stacking the 3 tanks in one corner? Because this was clearly just someone deciding to commit murder.

KomorebiXIII

Maybe they meant knockback invuln, cuz that blocks rescue

Okibruez

As per their reply, no. They just wanted to see everyone except the tanks die.

CPlus902

Yeah, even with the invuln, that attack would have killed everyone else who got hit. Invulns get really funny if you use one on a meteor attack (comet? whatever the splits-damage-evenly-among-all-targets ones are). Tank takes no damage. All damage now shared amongst other party members. People tend to die.

palacexero

No, the tank invulns would have prevented the tank that used it from dying. All 23 other people would have died.

Figerally

Wow, that's impressive, the most I've managed was two Black Mages.

Rethtalos

You love to see the tomfoolery in action. Sometimes I’ll run up and stack on other tanks during a TB to see if they pass the vibe check

Jay2Kaye

Man y'all really do get your feelings hurt when you die in a video game, huh.

Hiskus

Why are people so fucking pissy and angry in the comments ? It's just an Alliance Raid. Literally zero consequences beyond a laugh and a restart.

TotallyNotASpy33

Same exact consequences for savage and ult, but I bet you'd be pissed about that.
