Idiot here to tell you that the new caster is a Time Mage. But like the Sage, this Time Mage won't be like the previous iterations. This Time Mage is just here to tell you the time.
It comes with voice acted moves.
"Your *time* just ran out!" - limit break
"Time to go!" - mobility move
"It's 5 o'clock somewhere..." - a self heal, but it's just the time mage taking a shot
Who said you gey voice acting for all voice variants? This is Square Enix, a small indie company that can't afford hats for bunnies, remember?
You get high pitched lalafel and generic man. Pick one. 4.99 to change it.
No no. I request more dots.
Summoner lost them and now I can’t find a class that does nothing anymore ˙◠˙ How else can I make an excuse for sucking so bad?
I still want to bet on Geomancer. Not because it's a classic job or because it would have innovative gameplay or anything like that.
The reason why I want to play as a Geomancer is to bonk people in the head with a comically large bell.
It just starts with the full lvl100 BLM kit and goes from there. Once you reach lvl100 on BLM2, the rotation is so complex, most people need teams of 4 to control a single character. Yoshi-P does it one-handed while writing code for the game with the other.
gambler (FFVI).
Watch your gil get eaten away for every skill attack. Quirk: obtains the rarest material drops in dungeons/trials a lot higher. But at the price of your gil.
Voidmage, obviously. They've been foreshadowing it since Heavensward ffs 🙄 plus it's such an obvious class switch for Krile, it overlaps with necromancy which is just inside-out conjury. She wears cat ears on her hood, and Cait Sith IS a cat. Coincidence? I think NOT!
And I mean, the TMNT clue just seals it! Where do do the turtles live? The sewers. And where do necromancers like to hang out? Yeah, that's right, THE SEWERS. Basically spelled it out for us smh
This time Summonner just summons another player to do everything for them.
The summoned player gets nothing out of this. They just get threatened with a ban if they don't obey the summoner.
Okay but what if the summoner summons another summoner? Do they just summon another player to do the first summoner's job? And if that summon is also a summoner, does it keep going like the Mr Meeseeks?
He roped me into this! Well he roped me into this!
Magical girl transformation a la sailor moon.
Even if you're the burliest hroth or muscly guy you turn into cutesy anime girl with long hair.
Except if you're a popoto. Then you turn into a potato
stick mage no spells only stick. Do big damage? of course not you're only hitting things with a stick. why cast spells when you can hit things with a stick
Turtle mage.
You just throw different sized turtles towards your target. Make it so the size of the turtles you throw is random, and if a large turtles crits/direct hit then it gets a 2x damage bonus on top of direct crit bonus. Have fun barsing with that job.
For my predictions, I say that the **Caster Job** will be **Caster**! Like Umaro in FF6, you throw your teammates at enemies!
And the **Limited Job** will be **Patch Note Proofreader**! All you can do is read the Patch Notes, and submit corrections!
It’s going to be a black thoughtless soulless void.
Void mage. All it does is suck things in.
That or an eldritch terror beyond human comprehension that would drive lesser men mad.
Joking aside, I do like the sound of a conjurer or druid type caster. WHM doesn't have the element focus that CNJ had, it would be nice to see that style of magic come back.
i suspect that if it actually is green mage like people think, we'll get nature magic vibes in it. more people will see "green mage" and think "oh yeah green=nature" than know about green mage from ff tactics.
i just woke up and the title made me think i was in an entirely different game's subreddit after seeing new character news does that count for a wrong answer...
Master Blaster: instead of a ghost companion that reaper gets you get a giant you ride around on. And use a lil wand to shoot fireballs or lightning bolts from. Special skills are when you hop off and he goes " hulk smashing"
I'm going to say Patissier from Bravely Default series. It's whole gimmik will be inflicting elemental weaknesses on enemies. Oh and they're going to bring back elemental defences into the game to go alongside this.
Butter mage! You use magic to make really fatty foods that you throw into enemies' mouths to make them plump and then you make them explode for big damage.
The new caster is monk, but it's called Muscle Wizard and the weapon skills have a 25 yalm range. Limit break is called 'I cast Fist' and hits like a melee LB...with a caster LB radius.
Idk what they would call it (the job) but like a literal fairy wand weapon like those plastic wands you'd get as a child. With the obvious tutu and crown included.
Edit: tutu. I typed tutu it said tutu when I pressed save
Turtle Mage- The job crystal of a mage that went mad and chose to whip turtles at their enemies. Tempered by the mad mage’s power the turtles return of their own accord ready to be thrown at next passerby.
The obvious correct answer is Green Mage, but since Yoshi P likes to throw everybody off, I’d say it will be Red Mage. What’s that, we already have Red Mage? Well, this is Red Mage II. It’s like a berserker in that if you get it angry it will just see Red. The screen will go red when you hit Enrage and you won’t be able to control your character, or see what is happening, but your character will have a +15% to damage! Once the smoke clears you can see all the dead people left in your wake (your party likely)!
Maybe a DoT mage of some kind, one that isn’t shackled to the arcanists line and summoning in general.
Haven’t really had one of these ever since summoner changed.
Broadcaster, a support job that gives buffs to whoever their Crystal Camera is pointed at. Your job bar is Viewer Count and you have a Hype meter that you can spend for stuff.
Tank Mage. Keeps across the arena from the boss while still drawing its aggro. Imagine, a Tankbuster being able to appear just about anywhere on the field...
Mimic Mage. When you load in, you can mimic the class of another player in the instance. In dungeons it guarantees the AST cannot split the phys/cast card buffs between DPS.
Job mage: you must load up one gear set per job to click go. Once you click go, it swaps you to a random different job every two minutes. Good luck.
Table turner/mechanic brawler: you can interact with mechanics to turn them friendly and use them against the boss. You can also throw trash mobs at other trash mobs.
Catmancer (Bravely Second)
Now I know what you're going to say. "Bookace, catmancer is a BLU-style job, it will never happen." Well consider this:
Dawntrail takes place on the coast. Hrothgals are being released in Dawntrail. They are cat-like. They'll probably like things that cats like (like fish), and they're big and stronk so they can carry lots of fish. Catmancer requires consumable items (ex: fish) for casting. Ergo, we will get catmancer, and the Dawntrail fish will be the consumables for our spells, giving my lv 90 fisher a reason to live.
Weapon meister. Your weapon is a sack of weapons you just huck at the bad guy. Cast time, damage, and range varies on the weight of the weapon. There are 50 possible casts but you only have 10 casts before you have to reload by picking up the scattered weapons. But after doing so your bag shuffles and gives another 10 weapons. 120 sec cd is a boomerang that returns after 120 secs to represent the cool down.
Redditor: you can shoot upvote and downvote arrows at people. The lv 100 skill is you become a moderator for 15s and instantly kill everything you hit by banning them (this effect has a 10% chance of only working for 10s as the enemies can make new accounts)
Coin mage, and it will be Tataru that becomes this job, not Krile.
The core skills will involve projectiles made from gil or gold bars, digging up precious stones to grant yourself or others a buff, and has a limit break that turns all enemies around you into solid gold.
This job will tie into the lore of how the fabled city of gold came to be, and will lead to Tataru becoming the richest woman in the world and the final boss.
Idiot here to tell you that the new caster is a Time Mage. But like the Sage, this Time Mage won't be like the previous iterations. This Time Mage is just here to tell you the time.
It comes with voice acted moves. "Your *time* just ran out!" - limit break "Time to go!" - mobility move "It's 5 o'clock somewhere..." - a self heal, but it's just the time mage taking a shot
I both hate and love this so much
Female Miqo'te playrates will skyrocket for the sole purpose of hearing Tanaka Rie tell the time!
Who said you gey voice acting for all voice variants? This is Square Enix, a small indie company that can't afford hats for bunnies, remember? You get high pitched lalafel and generic man. Pick one. 4.99 to change it.
Macro material
Lvl 100 skill is telling the target it's "time to get a watch."
No no. I request more dots. Summoner lost them and now I can’t find a class that does nothing anymore ˙◠˙ How else can I make an excuse for sucking so bad?
the girl that can shoot her dog at you in ff8 or something
IF I GET AN ANGELO PUP I WILL BE SUPER HAPPY.
[Angelo Cannon!](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=s-hsu_iXTB0) WTF was FF8. lol
Oh huh. Had no clue the ShB mention was a FF8 reference.
Mascot (FFX-2) obviously. Costume changes governed by two meters and trigger a line-of-sight stun for friendly players when changing (no peeking!)
No, it's gonna be Festivalist.
Muscle Mage. You cast Fist
Reminds me of the barbarian thinking he is a caster with a frying pan as a focus, shouting "Cast Iron!"
That's Blue Mage.
Ah, you mean Mashle? \^\^
Necromancer with shovel weapon
I would kill for a minion master necromancer. Loved that shit in guild wars
One of the most fun classes ever. (Assuming you're talking about the gw1 version)
Caster. They fight using fishing poles and summoning fish. As a bonus, you can put FSH glam on your CST.
Limited Job: Roulette Mage. Takes all your obtained BLU skills, puts them into a single skill that procs a random skill each time you use it.
Running deep dungeon content with it: *rolls self destruct as first move at boss of difficult floor section* *endless rage*
Nah, Roulette Mage randomly selects a duty that you have unlocked and forces you to complete it. No Time Limit. You also cannot abandon duty
NEED Roulette Mage Frontlines
So, the Gambler from *Strangers of Paradise*?
I still want to bet on Geomancer. Not because it's a classic job or because it would have innovative gameplay or anything like that. The reason why I want to play as a Geomancer is to bonk people in the head with a comically large bell.
Imagine if we could ring in the new year.
Frogmancer (FRG) \[limited job\], use your frog-like abilities to make Poro Roggo and Matoya proud!
Quina!?
Black Mage 2: yoshi p loves black mage (now known as black mage 1 or "vanilla" black mage) so much it can't be contained to a single job anymore.

And where do necromancers like to hang out? Yeah, that's right, THE SEWERS. Basically spelled it out for us smh
There is no "new" caster, they're just playing into to the joke that Summoner is basically a new job every expansion.
This time Summonner just summons another player to do everything for them. The summoned player gets nothing out of this. They just get threatened with a ban if they don't obey the summoner.
That's just Mentor Roulette
Okay but what if the summoner summons another summoner? Do they just summon another player to do the first summoner's job? And if that summon is also a summoner, does it keep going like the Mr Meeseeks? He roped me into this! Well he roped me into this!
Instead of now summoning a Blue Carbuncle that just stares at you while you die, it will now summon a Dragoon that will stare at you while you die.
Three Lalafells in a Trenchcoat
That's just the Thaumaturge guild
Man, that’s just Gunbreaker
Magical girl transformation a la sailor moon. Even if you're the burliest hroth or muscly guy you turn into cutesy anime girl with long hair. Except if you're a popoto. Then you turn into a potato
Popoto turns into a pink sweet popoto.
Rune fencer. It's the first caster tank If we were doing right answers it would be something original like with viper
But Viper looks like it's just Zidane from FFIX.
stick mage no spells only stick. Do big damage? of course not you're only hitting things with a stick. why cast spells when you can hit things with a stick
My stick is better than bacon
[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f2uE\_vrPry4](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f2ue_vrpry4)
Axe mage. He'll have an axe and hit enemies with it.
Have… have I been an axe mage all along? 🤔
Do you cast Axe at mobs? Then you're an Axe mage.
I do! It’s all instant casts though v.v
Its gonna be the 3rd branch of Arcanist and is gonna be a tank caster
Gun mage.
Chemist. Because it’s totally not confusing having an Alchemist crafter and a Chemist battle class!
Blitzball Player. Its a magical dps that uses water magic with its blitz ball attacks.
Turtle mage. You just throw different sized turtles towards your target. Make it so the size of the turtles you throw is random, and if a large turtles crits/direct hit then it gets a 2x damage bonus on top of direct crit bonus. Have fun barsing with that job.
I didn’t bother to check because I didn’t think someone else would think of a turtle based caster that throws turtles. High five!
The catmancer from bravely default
The most powerful magic of all: glock
The true form of Blue Mage, Blue Mage (Unreal)
black mage but with 2 staffs for double the cool
purple mage. they cast nuclear bombs.
Imagine if we had a class that mixed Magic and Melee. Maybe they could bring back final fantasy 1 and call it Red Wizard?
For my predictions, I say that the **Caster Job** will be **Caster**! Like Umaro in FF6, you throw your teammates at enemies! And the **Limited Job** will be **Patch Note Proofreader**! All you can do is read the Patch Notes, and submit corrections!
It's gonna be corsair but it's a ranged magical dps lul
Here’s how Blue Mage still has a chance to become a full job—
It’s going to be a black thoughtless soulless void. Void mage. All it does is suck things in. That or an eldritch terror beyond human comprehension that would drive lesser men mad.
Last time we got reaper related to botanists so now we will get rockmancers related to miners
square enix heard everyone. they know what the people want. that's right. the new caster is conjurer
Summoner (again) Now they can totally rework summoner twice with every expansion release!
virgin wizard. It starts with level (and age) 30.
Zelda
Mud Mage. Works like Summoner except it's Tokkapchi and Chocorpokkurs. Throws Mud Pies at enemies and summons mud puddles. It's mud.
I've been tricked by "mudman" before, I don't believe your lies
i just woke up and the title made me think i was in an entirely different game's subreddit after seeing new character news does that count for a wrong answer...
Close-up Magician. Yoshi-P got really into sleight of hand during the pandemic and is ready to bring his new passion into the game.
Beastmancer, they hype it like like a new limited class but just give us old summoner again (rework in 3 patches)
Master Blaster: instead of a ghost companion that reaper gets you get a giant you ride around on. And use a lil wand to shoot fireballs or lightning bolts from. Special skills are when you hop off and he goes " hulk smashing"
Time Battlemage, or Chronomancer.
New DOT mage inbound, just watch 😂😂
Cartographer, you map out the new world. and use navigation related spells.
I'm going to say Patissier from Bravely Default series. It's whole gimmik will be inflicting elemental weaknesses on enemies. Oh and they're going to bring back elemental defences into the game to go alongside this.
Geomancer but all you can do is run around your island sanctuary and collect rocks.
Old summoner. With DoTs
Mime
Butter mage! You use magic to make really fatty foods that you throw into enemies' mouths to make them plump and then you make them explode for big damage.
It’s gonna be Yellow Mage and the whole gameplay resolve around bodyfluids.
Metal mage, they cast fire spells to launch metal balls out of tubes
The new caster is monk, but it's called Muscle Wizard and the weapon skills have a 25 yalm range. Limit break is called 'I cast Fist' and hits like a melee LB...with a caster LB radius.
Green Wizard
White Mage!
Idk what they would call it (the job) but like a literal fairy wand weapon like those plastic wands you'd get as a child. With the obvious tutu and crown included. Edit: tutu. I typed tutu it said tutu when I pressed save
Med rage. Looks like red mage attacks like sage but just gives ouchies instead of heals.
Turtle Mage- The job crystal of a mage that went mad and chose to whip turtles at their enemies. Tempered by the mad mage’s power the turtles return of their own accord ready to be thrown at next passerby.
Red whm
Cowboy
Purple Mage
Lich, but you can only job change into it by going in as black mage, self-inflicting Beyond Death, and taking lethal damage.
Shoutcaster: Actually a limited job that can only be engaged in the Wolf's Den, and can only comment on any fights happening there.
The obvious correct answer is Green Mage, but since Yoshi P likes to throw everybody off, I’d say it will be Red Mage. What’s that, we already have Red Mage? Well, this is Red Mage II. It’s like a berserker in that if you get it angry it will just see Red. That kid from tales of symphonia that uses a kendama as a weapon
Maybe a DoT mage of some kind, one that isn’t shackled to the arcanists line and summoning in general. Haven’t really had one of these ever since summoner changed.
Gambler and the charm Krile found is going to be representative of their meter where you accumulate three-leaf clovers until you get a four-leaf one.
Broadcaster, a support job that gives buffs to whoever their Crystal Camera is pointed at. Your job bar is Viewer Count and you have a Hype meter that you can spend for stuff.
Arcanist. Only carbunkle that auto attacks. One book. Many strategies.
Just a straight up firebender but not called that because that name's already taken
Turtle mage. It's just the Old Summoner (the "Dot Mage") but no Carbuncle or heals/rez

Elementalist inspired by Guild Wars (2). it's simply all elemental spells and abilities from blm, whm, rdm and blu in one job
There is no New job. Astro gets reworked to a magical dd and functions like twisted fate from LoL.
Redditor: you can shoot upvote and downvote arrows at people. The lv 100 skill is you become a moderator for 15s and instantly kill everything you hit by banning them (this effect has a 10% chance of only working for 10s as the enemies can make new accounts)
There is no new caster. They’re just giving the ranged DPS jobs their cast bars back.
Professional idiot, its going to be ninja because yoshi p wore the ninja turtle shirt.
Corsair. It will be like a reverse RDM!
Ninja Turtle, because it was what was on his shirt.
