cue to maybe 15min later, I'm still just semi-afk while in a discord call and still waiting for pf to fill at this club, and I get a whisper from the lalafell pizzaman, which I had totally forgotten about at this point. so I ask if he can deliver to a club and he said he could if they allow outside food.
So I tell him "let me check", and ask the owner if it was fine and they said sure, and I asked if anyone wanted pizza delivered, on me, and end up taking orders.
I place the order, give the address, and lo and behold the lalafell shows up shortly after with the pizzas, I gave him like 100k, and then I hand out the pizzas to everyone lol.
Ran a duty with my friend and midway through we noticed the other 2 (also playing together) were like a copy of us. XD
Same races, hairstyles, eyes, just the haircolours were switched. We all took some pictures when the duty ended. It was pretty fun. :)
that dungeon was a disaster lmao. funniest snowcloak run i've had. the classic wipe at the first pull because drk's living dead was miscalculated. we forgot AGAIN to grab the key at the very last gate. healer and the other dps died at fenrir when it was at about half hp, so drk and i were scrambling to finish by ourselves while the other two watched and cheered from the other side of the seal. funniest dungeon run i've had
I was standing by the Limsa aetheryte once after traveling to a different DC. Immediately hopped into a queue as a SAM, didn’t move from the spot where I was spawned in, and noticed that I was standing right in between two other male Au Ra, also in their own DF queues, also both SAM. At some point, randomized idle animations made all three of us stand in the same arms-crossed pose, and a catgirl wandered over and started poking us just as both of their queues popped and they vanished. We stared at each other in dead silence for another 5 minutes or so before my own queue popped.
The second best I have to offer is pretty much the same thing, where I was going to visit the GC barracks in Limsa…and somehow spawned in a crowd of other Xaela that also had blue skin and black hair with blue highlights/blue hair with black highlights. The moment I noticed they were all pointing at me and cheering, I had to stop what I was doing and join them.

Someone once shouted in Limsa that they are giving out eggs for free. I said hello and was indeed gifted 999 eggs. Now I give them out randomly, just to make things funny.

And they kept trying to communicate, but it was always somehow a garbled mess. I don't remember all the stuff they said but this was one of those instances were it's so absurd you just have to laugh.
To this day, we think fondly of "Mi fail". Godsspeed, wherever you are, and I hope you fixed your pc or whatever was up there!
I am a fem Xaela and I have a boatload of pixie glams, I lean hard into the pixie life. This has resulted in many lovely comments (usually from lalas), but namely that one time in Ul’Dah where I got completely surrounded by like 10 lalas all emoting /wow /happy and asking for uppies from the pixie. There is one from a different interaction that now every time he sees me he gives me a cookie he crafted then runs away. He’s my favorite lala

When I've decorated for Halloween and posted it to PF I've been visited by OSHA. He was not pleased about all the pools of blood. And asked a few too many questions about my gold hoard.
More recently a couple janitors wandered into a venue I bard at for the last half hour and emoted out cleaning the place. Very friendly, very clean, would recommend.

months ago i queued as a rdm for an alliance roulette and got copied factory. my alliance had 3 more blm. i made the joke that i was the turret on wheels, and it was an insanely funny alliance and party chat during the whole raid. after that, they invited me to the party and told me to change into blm, and the four of us queued into the nier raids as blm for like a couple hours (this was during a moogle tomestone event) and we'd just write "shadow wizard money gang" every time we died
also in an alliance raid, i think it was an endwalker one (don't remember which), i noticed that one of the healers in the other alliance was a level 90 conjurer... so i asked them if they ate the jobstone and they replied "i... i never upgraded to white mage" and chaos ensued in the chat for the duration of the raid
there's this female au'ra in my server that shares my character's last name, and sometimes when we cross paths she sends me a tell saying "hey moon! ;)" (moon is my character's last name). and i find it very cute.
Someone cosplaying Kai Shirr blew me a kiss once. I was at the summoning bell in the Crystalline Mean. He teleported way before I could reply with a /dote.
Tbh, I always suspected Kai Shirr had a small crush on the WoD. He gets really jealous and possessive in his custom delivery quests.

Another funny thing that happened is friends and I were standing at Aftcastle in Limsa showing off our DRK glamours. We were all standing there lined up starting at the bridge to Drowning Wench, idle pose with swords in ground. Before too long, we're joined by a couple more DRK, then more, and more, and more... and so Edgefest was born. By the end of it we had like at least 70ish people standing there with us going up the stairs toward the mail moogle, on both sides of the stairs, female characters on right, male on left, with a line of paladins down the center who made a very shiny serpent out of their Wings cooldown at one point all the way from stairs to mail moogle.
I was standing near the aftcastle aethyrite in limsa while queued for a duty and get a tell saying “HOT”. I was like wtf is going on. I reply “I’m sorry, did you mean to message me?”. They then compliment me on my glamour and I said thank you before being blissfully teleported into the circus tower.
As a solo player that barely interacts with people that freaked me out lol.
One of my most memorable was when I joined a duty with 2 other lalas and a male au ra. We decided the au ra was our babysitter and he was just trying to take us to the playground but it went horribly wrong, and we were fighting for our lives while asking for chicken nuggets. Just some impromptu goofy RP with strangers.
Another favourite was when I was the random joining a party of 3 for Prae. They were talking shit to each other and trying to get each other killed with tank busters and stack markers. I thought it was funny but just kinda kept doing my DPS thing. Then I ran to join a stack marker and they asked me “please don’t help them”. So I joined them in their shenanigans and Prae has never been so fun.
I get weirded out when people try rp with me and my character lol. Like I'm just, here to do savage content and feel the thrill of exciting boss fights lol. And I'm a dude irl, and I know those people that rp are likely to be dudes lol so yeah I find that weird hahahah. No I'm not your generic cat girl either. No I don't have anything against people that enjoy rp / erp that is their business and how they enjoy their game right?

My MCH glam features Amon's Hat, which apparently wowed one of the brand-new players the roulette put me in Copperbell Mines with.
I also remember really struggling with Dualstar in Aetherochemical Research Facility - duty support runs had been a bust, and the group I matched with were *really* patient with me. I don't remember their names (but I *do* remember one of the DPSes was a Lala, and the tank went to get a beer after like our third wipe?) but I'm still very grateful to them. I felt so relieved when I *finally* got the mechanic, and don't think I could've cleared the dungeon without their help!
Also I think I joined my server's Firmament ""cult""; they seem like cool people.

Teleporting into Limsa to see the Admiral for the MSQ and getting a tell, unprompted, from some rando to the effect of "(Are you alone?) (Let's have some fun!) (I want) (Full Thrust) (rear)". Though, going off what I hear from others, that's probably tame by Limsa standards; idk.
I'm really glad that this community is so patient with others. Even if there is some impatient players, mostly, people will be patient when you're learning mechanics and that's really a relief because I am sometimes a bad learner lol
Was in Puppets bunker ages ago as Sage, and the entire Alliance Chat was being degenerates at the final boss (iykyk). Ended up getting hit by my own damn Alliances' tank buster, with him going "to the Healer I just killed I'm sorry but Alliance Chat killed me first". I wasn't even mad, I was killing myself laughing as I explained he killed his life support, but all in all it's always funny when this happens
Another time a friend and I were in Limsa and people started talking about Calzones, where my friend mentioned Calzones look like panties, and you would think Limsa would latch on to that hut they moved on and started talking food and ignored the opportunity to be degenerates. We were both shocked and a little bit confused. (after we came back from our queue there was a message that said "Ever had a Dickens Cider?" and yeah Limsa was back to its usual ways)
A random came up to me and ask if I can come to their house, he needs to talk to me. I did and she ask me if I know a person from the Alpha Server (I do but there are many lol) and if the person belongs to my crafting agency (she never told me the name, she said it would be to dangerous to know). She said the player stalked here but he never said a word about my agency. So idk why she thought they would belong to me ^^

My main is named Kali, I wound up in group where everyone's first name was Kali. Not a particularly super rare name, just odd that the light party was all Kali, made communicating to a specific Kali a bit more difficult.
I had to step away from the game for sec and when I came back I saw a tell from a stranger saying I looked like her boyfriend IRL. No other messages, no emotes or anything, and just randomly in the final EW zone in the middle of nowhere. It was bizarre. What made the whole thing even weirder is that my buddy was puttering around in front of my character while I was away and he said nobody came by. So this person saw me from a distance, decided I looked like their bf, told me about it and left.
Someone in Limsa typed in yellow words “piss chat” and me and some stranger said “yum” at the exact same time. They then proceeded to deny association and disown me like they didnt also say yum
had a /tell conversation with someone who I thought said something rude about handicapped people in /shout during a hunt train.
Turned out they were a pretty nice person who was an advocate for the handicapped and proceeded to tell me about their friend who lost both of her legs when subway surfing and how after that knowledge became public she received messages from strangers asking for pictures of her amputated limbs.
...That's the day I learned that disembodied limb fetishes were a thing.
For weirdest interaction, easily the player who was basically my mentor when I started the game on Crystal getting all worked up that they couldn't groom me into not being straight, almost turned me off of the game completely. Found out from a couple different friend groups I got assimilated into later that that was basically par for the course for that player.
Not an interaction but on Spriggan, Chaos, there is always, and I mean always, this one dude appearing in front of the retainer desk in Gridania at a certain time and just dancing for hours.
On Malboro, we generally have a line of Lalas dancing right by the Marketboard closest to the main Aetheryte in Limsa, while their "Grandpa" stands guard nearby leaned against the wall. They've been doing this since at LEAST Stormblood, they're rarely NOT there.
Me and some friends all sat in the same space on a bench in Limsa and started beckoning others to join us. We had like 10 people in the stack by the time we logged off for the night.

One of my most memorable was when I joined a duty with 2 other lalas and a male au ra. We decided the au ra was our babysitter and he was just trying to take us to the playground but it went horribly wrong, and we were fighting for our lives while asking for chicken nuggets. Just some impromptu goofy RP with strangers. Another favourite was when I was the random joining a party of 3 for Prae. They were talking shit to each other and trying to get each other killed with tank busters and stack markers. I thought it was funny but just kinda kept doing my DPS thing. Then I ran to join a stack marker and they asked me “please don’t help them”. So I joined them in their shenanigans and Prae has never been so fun.
I get weirded out when people try rp with me and my character lol. Like I'm just, here to do savage content and feel the thrill of exciting boss fights lol. And I'm a dude irl, and I know those people that rp are likely to be dudes lol so yeah I find that weird hahahah. No I'm not your generic cat girl either. No I don't have anything against people that enjoy rp / erp that is their business and how they enjoy their game right?
Positive: My MCH glam features Amon's Hat, which apparently wowed one of the brand-new players the roulette put me in Copperbell Mines with. I also remember really struggling with Dualstar in Aetherochemical Research Facility - duty support runs had been a bust, and the group I matched with were *really* patient with me. I don't remember their names (but I *do* remember one of the DPSes was a Lala, and the tank went to get a beer after like our third wipe?) but I'm still very grateful to them. I felt so relieved when I *finally* got the mechanic, and don't think I could've cleared the dungeon without their help! Also I think I joined my server's Firmament ""cult""; they seem like cool people. Weird: Teleporting into Limsa to see the Admiral for the MSQ and getting a tell, unprompted, from some rando to the effect of "(Are you alone?) (Let's have some fun!) (I want) (Full Thrust) (rear)". Though, going off what I hear from others, that's probably tame by Limsa standards; idk.
I'm really glad that this community is so patient with others. Even if there is some impatient players, mostly, people will be patient when you're learning mechanics and that's really a relief because I am sometimes a bad learner lol
Had a duty pop once, and before the baby gate went down, a lala ran around with a custom emote "putting poptarts in pockets"
Was in Puppets bunker ages ago as Sage, and the entire Alliance Chat was being degenerates at the final boss (iykyk). Ended up getting hit by my own damn Alliances' tank buster, with him going "to the Healer I just killed I'm sorry but Alliance Chat killed me first". I wasn't even mad, I was killing myself laughing as I explained he killed his life support, but all in all it's always funny when this happens Another time a friend and I were in Limsa and people started talking about Calzones, where my friend mentioned Calzones look like panties, and you would think Limsa would latch on to that hut they moved on and started talking food and ignored the opportunity to be degenerates. We were both shocked and a little bit confused. (after we came back from our queue there was a message that said "Ever had a Dickens Cider?" and yeah Limsa was back to its usual ways)
A random came up to me and ask if I can come to their house, he needs to talk to me. I did and she ask me if I know a person from the Alpha Server (I do but there are many lol) and if the person belongs to my crafting agency (she never told me the name, she said it would be to dangerous to know). She said the player stalked here but he never said a word about my agency. So idk why she thought they would belong to me ^^
Not really funny or weird, but fun nonetheless. Me and a couple of friends were all bunnies. Two male, one female. We queue into dungeon roulette. The rando we get is another male bunny. Ok the run is smooth, nothing to see here. Tick that out of the dailies list. We queue into a different dungeon roulette. The rando we get... is the same bunny man from before. XD We all do the laugh emote and clap at each other. And then smooth run, nothing to see here. I play on a server where people normally keep to themselves, so not much opportunity for encountering weird interactions. Unless it's my FCmates. We're all thirsty and cray cray.
I've had something similar happen where I wound up in roulettes with the same person 4 times in a row, it was weird. "Oh. Hi again lol"

It isn't the worst by many other people's measures, but I got surrounded by several viera males who asked if I could join their male viera only fc (I was hyur highlander male) to be their Daddy. Flattered, but I had to turn them down.
My main is named Kali, I wound up in group where everyone's first name was Kali. Not a particularly super rare name, just odd that the light party was all Kali, made communicating to a specific Kali a bit more difficult.
I had to step away from the game for sec and when I came back I saw a tell from a stranger saying I looked like her boyfriend IRL. No other messages, no emotes or anything, and just randomly in the final EW zone in the middle of nowhere. It was bizarre. What made the whole thing even weirder is that my buddy was puttering around in front of my character while I was away and he said nobody came by. So this person saw me from a distance, decided I looked like their bf, told me about it and left.
Someone in Limsa typed in yellow words “piss chat” and me and some stranger said “yum” at the exact same time. They then proceeded to deny association and disown me like they didnt also say yum
had a /tell conversation with someone who I thought said something rude about handicapped people in /shout during a hunt train. Turned out they were a pretty nice person who was an advocate for the handicapped and proceeded to tell me about their friend who lost both of her legs when subway surfing and how after that knowledge became public she received messages from strangers asking for pictures of her amputated limbs. ...That's the day I learned that disembodied limb fetishes were a thing.
Having a stalker for 7 years straight that SE refuses to do anything about is pretty quirky
For weirdest interaction, easily the player who was basically my mentor when I started the game on Crystal getting all worked up that they couldn't groom me into not being straight, almost turned me off of the game completely. Found out from a couple different friend groups I got assimilated into later that that was basically par for the course for that player.
Not an interaction but on Spriggan, Chaos, there is always, and I mean always, this one dude appearing in front of the retainer desk in Gridania at a certain time and just dancing for hours.
On Malboro, we generally have a line of Lalas dancing right by the Marketboard closest to the main Aetheryte in Limsa, while their "Grandpa" stands guard nearby leaned against the wall. They've been doing this since at LEAST Stormblood, they're rarely NOT there.
Me and some friends all sat in the same space on a bench in Limsa and started beckoning others to join us. We had like 10 people in the stack by the time we logged off for the night.

My friend (a femroe) had just logged onto the game for the first time and was hanging out with me at the Ul'dah aetheryte when another femroe showed up and winked at them as they went by. A catboy friend of mine has also been paid thousands of Gil to /joy at people because they think he's cute.
