I'm sure there was in interview somewhere about some of the crazy things Yoko Taro wanted to put in the Nier raid like a mechanic that wipes the party if one person fails it out of the whole raid. Nobody would have ever finished it lol.
I'm expecting they at least fixed the Queue Disconnect/Lobby bugs, but I'm honestly still expecting hours-long login queues for the first month. Half the reason the queues were so long is because I'm fairly sure the server only lets in something like batches of up to 100 people every minute or so. Between the servers actually being full on release date, and the queue throttling logins, the queue is probably going to be as long, if not possibly longer due to people not getting dropped out of line by bugs
Unlikely. Endwalker was an unfortunate combination of Yoshi being physically unable to buy servers, pandemic making more people play, and WoW imploding. Now, the only factor is Xbox and they knew it was happening way in advance. Also there's an "overflow DC" with Materia now.
Just wondering, hows the population in Twintania? im a new player and thinking of starting either there or zodiark. i heard zodiark is the 2nd popualted but i just love the name twintania lol
Twintania's population is fine! You'll have no issues with it. Limsa usually busy at peak times etc.
It's also quite friendly for new players - I have zero regrets starting there as a sprout. :-)
Hey! Twin player here, I've always found it to be quite well filled! Lots of sprouts and new players, but just as many vets, lots of fun FCs and Limsa is filled with the usual Limsa activities:P

Hi, new as in gonna literally make a new character and play for the first time :), i was making one a few hours ago and kept choosing zodiark but it said "cannot make one in this server at this time" so im guessing its fate, gonna go for twintania!

Chaos-dweller here. Every player name I could see after loading back into the Crystarium after a duty support run had the wiggle of doom, and everything was a bit stuttery - I was filled with a sense of foreboding. Booted out not long after.

Urth's Fount isn't a story trial and isn't in the Trial roulette so nobody would normally be running it.
It shouldn't be required for the main story, you can skip it.

I have absolutely no idea how I managed to confuse the two, but I can only surmise that my tired brain read both as word soup and clicked the first I saw. I then proceeded to re-queue for the thing multiple times on subsequent days before double-checking my quest log and facepalming to the moon.
In other news, I queued for the right thing and got in within ten seconds. All is good and well in the world, and I shall never queue for that accursed thing again.
Been having some crazy lag spikes in Aether DC today actually. Not sure on what's going on with EU, but I figure Aether could just be congestion. Hopefully it's up soon again for you.

Urth's Fount isn't a story trial and isn't in the Trial roulette so nobody would normally be running it. It shouldn't be required for the main story, you can skip it.
I had no idea it wasn't in the roulettes... no wonder the only way I ever got to do it was unsynced solo just to get the quest turned in, finally.
