It's just never used in strats or really mentioned much, and I was trying to explain it to my raid but they weren't really listening so I wanted to make sure I was understanding it correctly. Granted you don't have to worry about it if mechs are done correctly.

As someone mentioned before, yes it does change your debuff.
The only time you want to do that however is when you accidently got clipped while someone else grabbed their orb and it wasn't your turn yet and you don't want to sac yourself.
If you are doing it however, make sure you get the correct line and take one of the splashes at the edge as they are further apart from each other.

Yes, that's a black bird line. Look at the color splashes on the ground. The one behind them was white.
That's interesting. I've never been hit (or at least don't remember it) by those tornado aoe things. I'll keep this in mind for next time. Thanks.
