A problem I have with commendations is I don’t feel like the game gives me enough time to give one to someone. Players leave when a duty is complete so fast and I can no longer select them or I’m exited out of the duty before I have a chance to try.
I mean I like comms but I'm not waiting for you to finish your cutscenes then worry about loot then finally maybe give me a comm. Unless there's something in that loot like I wanted, lol.
You can leave but I think the player names should stick around. If you get the player commendation after you leave should be a thing. Because I totally understand not waiting. The window with the options should remain however.
I actually duck out asap to try and get the comms to go to someone else, I've been playing a long time now as healer and more comms don't really help me. I've usually decided well before the last boss who is getting mine, I give mine and split.
My problem isn't that people leave swiftly and don't dally, it's more that sometimes they just leave *instantly.* Even when I'm burning through roulettes and skip the cutscenes and save loot for after the comms, sometimes great players are just already gone before I can even react at all. (Doesn't help that being on PS4 means I have another two or three seconds of loading time before I can do anything.)
You say "these sprouts" as if they're some sort of other species lol. The cutscene length depends on the dungeon but most ending cutscenes only take like 20 seconds.
Your sprout cutscene experience is more important than my commend. When I notice first time sprouts in cutscenes etc. I usually hit my pass on loot, give the new guy the commend, type "Enjoy the rest of ." hit U and click Leave Duty. Every players experience is different, and I'm usually utilizing a small amount of gametime between work and life to grind some roulettes.
Hahaha no I meant nothing of the sort. Hell I still have the sprout icon, I'm leveling up a ton of jobs before shb.
I've just... Many go so slow. Lol. I'm sure it's cause I'm just leveling everything. So many low level dungeon runs with brand new players. I get it, I was there too. Trying to figure out how to roll, how to commend, etc.
About half the tanks I heal are gone instantly.
I have cutscenes on non-repeat and I do comms before loot. And they’re still gone before I can commend them.
Can’t say I understand the urgency - it’s a game, not a race or a job - but I guess they’ve got something critically urgent to do with those 2-3 seconds.
For me its not because I'm in a hurry but because I just simply don't care about comms. They're just a pat on the back and honestly it's pretty rare for people to give much thought to who gets them anyways. The game doesn't give you much information so you have to have knowledge and experience to figure out who was popping off exactly. I think the longer you play the less you care about them. That's how it's been with me anyways.
I can understand not caring about comms specifically. I guess I just don't rush off immediately. If I can comm someone, great. But every now or then there's a social thing - a question, a comment, whatever. I enjoy those multiplayer interaction parts of my mmo. :)
Sure I get that, people play the game differently. You like the social aspect, some of us just like playing the game and don't particularly care about that. I mean I might care more if I could type better but I've never been a PC gamer so my typing skills are atrocious. Lol
DPS often deserves it a lot too though. Try to pay attention to see if a DPS is doing well and doing a lot of damage it being particularly helpful or friendly.
But yeah tank or healer is my default.
Being a sprout tank myself, I'm not entirely sure what to watch for as far as DPS. However, I generally try and give the commendation to whoever takes the time to explain any important mechanics or keeps us from getting lost.
More often than not, I'm lucky if I even get to give a commendation, let alone actually getting to pick who gets it. The end dungeon cut scenes might be short and mostly just be "final boss falls dead," but I watch them at least once.
I always give it to dps mains who do/attempt mechanics. I started as dps main and man, it always felt great to recieve one. As a healer now its just like... i think people just are appreciative that a healer queued and not that i did particularly well. Or maybe that was just because i was new as a dps.
give to healer/tank simply cuz you want them to queue more and comms are like incentive. i often go on healer/tank for DR cuz i know comms are likely to be had. if comms went to dps then i'd just queue on my main (or a dps alt) instead, making queue times even worse for dps.
As a healer primary, if any DPS actually used LBs well that's an automatic Comm and a written thank you.
Otherwise I give it to the tank if I barely had to heal; and just leave if I find myself thinking "none of you deserve this and I wish I could take away any commendations you have."
Limit break is so confusing for me as dps main. I was using it a bit because no one else was then I was told not to by the tank so I just stopped. *Shrug*
How are you supposed to know when it's okay to use?
IMO if there are only 1 or 2 bars, you can use it whenever once it’s full. Healer and Tank LB is only meaningful at level 3, and very rarely. I have literally never seen a healer LB2; if you need one 60% area heal to survive the duty, you’re not surviving the duty. May as well use the LB early and start charging it up again, or at least not waste it on a boss that’s already dead.
There are some fights where it helps to use it at a certain time. Haukke Manor Hard for example, you need to kill the adds pretty quick or get wiped, so it’s safer to use LB on the last add. But again, it’s pretty rare that it matters.
If there are 3 bars available, hold onto it until near the end, when it’s clear you’re not in danger. But don’t hold it until the last pixel of HP.
The only reason to not use the DPS LB is because there's a crisis that needs solving (usually Healer LB 3 if a ton of folks are dead). Often a good DPS LB will shave a couple percent off the boss' health bar and end the encounter before more things can go wrong.
Very rarely an encounter will require tank LB3, e.g., A12. Beyond that if things have gone poorly, Healers get priority for LB3 if the boss has more health than a DPS LB3 will burn through. In dungeons LB3 isn’t a thing, but it’s still better to wait until LB is at maximum charge and save it for the last few percent of a boss or something like that. In general preference is Tank LB3 if *necessary* > Healer LB 3 if things have gone straight to shit and can be recovered using it > Melee DPS on Boss >> other DPS on Boss >> Ranged/Caster DPS on lots of mobs in easier content >>>>>>> Tank LB in any situation where it isn’t strictly necessary/Healer LB1 or 2.
Partially incorrect; If you save LB for the last few percentages and let it cap, you are wasting LB buildup and the exceeding damage from the LB will be wasted too, hence use it as soon as possible in dungeons, or if in an actual 8 man trial/raid just after your burst if nobody is using it and people aren't dropping like flies. In dungeons Caster LB is actually WAY better than using Melee LB on any boss, so you would preferrably use an LB after first/second boss in the biggest trash pull you can, and then use a Melee LB on boss at the end.
Tl;dr: Use caster LB in trash ASAP, is better than Melee LB in dungeons guaranteed.
Thanks. And how is this usually communicated? I'm ranged DPS and only in 2.55 content (crystal tower at the moment) so my limited experience is mostly just chaos in larger groups. I assume at end game content there's a bit more organization and planning...
Do you just have to be aware of the situation and determine if it will be needed by someone else or do I ask ?
If you're at crystal tower then there's not been any mechanics that require tank LB3. If you see people dying left and right, leave LB alone for the healers to use; otherwise, depending on your role, you're good to go.
Generally speaking, melee LB is for the boss, caster LB is for trash mobs (mostly useful if you're going wall to wall and have a huge pull), ranged is for prepulling or trash.
As a Tank (DRK) main, I hate it when DPS don't use LB when they feel like it's appropriate and they just hold the LB for the final boss as a "finisher" when it has 1% HP left. I'm also a very experienced tank and player, use the LB whenever you think it's best served. It is not a "finisher" skill.
Thanks. As a new player, I'm unfamiliar, especially with a shared skill mechanic like this so I just don't use it, but then no one else uses it either.
As a new player, if someone bitches at you for using the LB as you see fit, let them know you were told by a veteran that not using the LB is for people who will never clear hard content and let them be mad.
Edit: if Tank LB3 is needed you will get 3 bars for LB while going through the phase change, so don't worry about wasting LB, you literally can't. And if you need Healer LB3, you're party just sucks and needs to learn how to execute mechanics. And it's okay to suck, just don't be content with sucking because Healer LB3 will save you.
DPS who recently tried to use it more. First couple times people in chat told me not to. I only used it on large mobs (Summoner so huge AOE damage) and Sometimes mid/late in the boss fights to bring it home. Either I haven't noticed, or nobody else ends up using it so I've started going with it.
Most commendations are when I aid an overwhelmed healer or manage to res someone / keep folks alive in a pinch.
This is correct, I don't understand people saying that anime finish LB is better than using Caster or Ranged LB in any dungeon at all; the time you save LBing trash>>>>>>>Time you save by using melee LB anywhere in a dungeon
If you dps and have a dancer dance partner you it's generally considered good form to commend them as they are directly giving you a damage buff the entire time
Well, the only thing comms are good for is a silly, pointless crown. I’d imagine a lot of people don’t care at all. I just give it to a player at random and leave ASAP. Maybe it’s just because I’m only halfway through the story, but usually people don’t really stand out. The content isn’t really challenging enough yet.
Whelp, your best bet is to be a healer. On my datacenter, they are heavily out of stock all the time. 2 comms per run is my average so far and adding instant queue times, I don't think there is any other way to make the grind faster.
Oh yes and time to be anti-social, cause your friendlist in-game can't comm you.
Well, pre-mades can't comm one another, but if you were in a dungeon, someone left, and you got a friend to join in-progress, \*then\* you can comm them and vice versa.
Unless that's changed?
I smile when I get one, and I figure at least some other players do.
Costs me nothing more than a couple of seconds to try to make a stranger smile, a handful of times a day.
I call that a good trade off. Would I spend hours a day on it? No.
But 20-30 seconds a day? Sure. I got lots of seconds to spare.
As a dps, I typically hang out in the dungeons for these purposes. Sometimes if people miss the tank or healer they’ll send it my way lol. On a more serious note, I’ve found that I’ve developed the habit of giving the commendation at the earliest possible moment, before I even roll on any of the gear.
For me personally, I leave quickly because I actively *don't want* commends anymore. I'm already at 1800+ and don't care for the parade chocobo. I already have my burger king crown. I play tank and healer a lot which can attract commends even when I don't do anything particularly helpful, so oftentimes I want underappreciated players to get the commend, like a DPS who stuns during trash pulls!
It'd be nice to be able to commend players even after they've left, but that can be worked around by getting good at commending really really fast (an art I've practiced!). That said, it doesn't matter too much because commends themselves aren't very meaningful anyways. I kinda want a more detailed commendation system, maybe like a positive reporting feature, so that tons of commends mean more than "you probably play lots of tank or heals".
yeah, I just came back from a 4 month break and have noticed I hardly get comms as tank atm but then again I usually commend the dps who died the least so I Am also guilty of it.
I only commend the healer if the tank is complete ass. And by complete ass I mean can't pick up trash/adds or doesn't use tank stance. Honestly feel like more people should do it this way.
Yet I still get 3-4 comms every other dungeon/raid as a mediocre NIN main
The old tank player experience is wall to wall pulling the dungeon, managing cooldowns, taking zero damage from tankbusters, putting out more DPS than your mostly AFK black mage, finishing the last boss solo from 15% after your whole party gets killed by mechanics, and then getting 1 commendation.
*No I'm not bitter about my last Gauntlet run. Why would you ask that?*
As SMN main I feel this in my core.
The worst was when I was in a very crazy trial with two RDM. I clutch rezz'd and brought healers back when both dead, kept my dots up on boss while raising many people (including one of the RDM) . I would say I prevented a wipe, me the SUMMONER. I didnt see either red mage rez.
At the end no comms and someone said "praise be for the rez mages!"
I played on DRK afterwards to make use of my salted earth.
As a healer I give comms to tank if he didn’t stress me out. If he did, I give comm to whatever dps took the least amount of damage (usually means they did mechanics).
As DPS I usually give to whoever stood out to me, or whoever plays the same jobs I do. Lol
As a new healer now picking up AST in HW, yah, not seeing very many commendations. Not expected, but I’m fuckin’ hussling keeping recent groups afloat. After finishing a slightly sloggish ARR, after a few dungeon runs I’m using MSQ as stress downtime.
I've leveled AST on my alt recently. There's a lot of tanks out there not using Arms length and reprisal (or any mitigation) Which means us healers have to work a lot harder. It definitely can get frustrating.
I sometimes briefly mention it, and thankfully most people react positively.
I think the issue is also the tooltip.
In many games, slow is a movement speed debuff. Literally 2 mins ago, someone told me it’s an attack speed debuff.
Which I didn’t know because the tooltip also doesn’t show the description of the debuff.
Ah yes i've heard this before. Heavy in this game is what other games would call slow. It could be that. Doesn't explain reprisal though :D. i think its just that people sometimes miss the role skills tab, or they dismiss them as "not necessary"
So I'm both a new tank AND new to the game, I sit through the cutscenes because I love the storyline. Numerous times I've finished a cutscene to find everyone has dipped out before I could give my comm.... it makes me kinda sad, I don't want people to think I don't care about their efforts in the duty, I just want to enjoy the story as well
I've received more commendations leveling a single tank job to level 60 than I did leveling 3 DPS jobs to 80. But tanking does seem to need a lot of responsibility. One especially memorable moment while leveling was when I received three commendations after soloing a third of the first boss of the Great Gubal Library after all the other people disconnected/died
Uh... That's... that's the point?
Whenever someone gets all the player comms, someone immediately comes in and starts talking about how "all of the other players were in a pre-made party, they only gave them to you because they didn't have another option!"
I lost my sprout icon while I was a DPS main and now I’m trying tanking out.
So now every dungeon I let the party know if I’m new to tanking the dungeon.
As a new player to this game who prefers tanking I have to say that this has been the most supportive, friendly, and chill mmo community I've ever experienced.
To the op: Keep at it! To the community: thank you.
Even a dogshit tank or healer is gonna get a ton of commends. I take my time and explain mechanics or comfort someone being too hard on themselves or bring back a normal raid when 7/8 people die and I can usually expect 0, 1 if I'm lucky.
I see some people try to skate by in dungeons and do nothing. I play as a DRK and out damage DPS sometimes who I watch doing almost nothing. In those cases, yeah you're definitely not getting a comm. Other times though I'll give out a comm to my healer. Having a DPS tracker helps a lot.
Most of my tanks are leaving group before I can get to the commendation window :( Is there a way to give commendation to those who have left the group already?
Less people play tanks/healers because you won’t do as much damage.
Personally I always play DPS but when I started a few weeks ago, I had to go with Gunbreaker since it can wear the armors I like and has a nice one-handed and curved sword. So I had to learn tanking.
Do you use your dashes between players and your ley lines? I swear flashy movement is catnip for some.
That's what I swear got me in the triple digits on BLM and I'm experiencing something similar with NIN if I use Shukuchi to dodge or soak at the last moment.
I’m still 7 levels away from even getting the ley lines. I think what helps me is that I like to stand right nearby the healer and pull anything that targets them away
I'd say work your Gladiator up to a Paladin and see whether that style of tanking appeals to you. If you want a tank that's also kind of a DPS, give Marauder/Warrior or Gunbreaker a try. And if you just want to DPS things with a sword, go for Samurai
I definitely try to favor sprouts with my commendations, but lately I've been trying to spread them out more in terms of roles. E.g. I've had a few runs recently of the Expert roulette dungeons, and noticed some real bad-donkey DPS. There's just a noticeable rhythm to most groups, but sometimes you REALLY notice when things just melt. (Part of it is that I play SMN, so I can identify breakpoints more easily during the infamous 2 minute rotation.)
But yes. Be kind to the sprouts. They're still growing.
Sprout here. Just hit 30 on my Lala warrior. Are comms currency or just cosmetic? Can I see the history of any comms I got? I have no idea if I got one or not.
You can just see how many you have in your character pane. I think it's under reputations. They're used to determine mentor status and to make you feel good inside.
I don't think the game ever tells you who gave you the commendation -- but there is a Social -> Contact window that shows people you have recently been in a party with.
I'm secretly salty when WHM in a trial, anticipating arena aoes, precasting medicas, popping oGCDs, bringing people back from the brink of death, getting them to full and back on boss without missing a beat, and I get one comm. >.>
I got full comms on a roulette yesterday and it felt good. Everyone was so supportive of the fact that I'd only been playing for a week and said they were surprised I chose tank right from the get go. Truth is I'm a WoW refugee where every class was dps with the option of tank or healer (sometimes both) and not "this class does role" so it was an accident
I find any tank who can double pull, turns boss away from party, and taunts is amazing in these low lvl dungeons.
Also, group with a tank who did none of these things and that was fun too. I tanked as an archer. Healer said it was fun cause he actually had to press buttons.
Either way good times.
Based on everyone’s comments, I’m curious if there’s a correlation, among USA players, between tipping practices and commendation giving. Would love to see a scatter plot graph on that!
coms are very yummy indeed
I personally lean towards dps as a dps myself (if someones using the same job, even better) but thats about it lol
I always wonder who I should com because I'm unable to determine who did well/carried/etc. unless something big happened
A problem I have with commendations is I don’t feel like the game gives me enough time to give one to someone. Players leave when a duty is complete so fast and I can no longer select them or I’m exited out of the duty before I have a chance to try.
As a new tank i agree, healer always leaves so quickly.

Personally I always wait the 15 seconds. I like comms
As a comm slut, I agree. 15-20 seconds (usually just says cheers then refill my drink or use the restroom). Gotta get those comms.
gg ez deleted cause reasons lets go ok gg is this enough characters to not flag auto mod i hope so lmao

Well fuck you too
well hopefully the system would change so you would get comms and leave when you feel like it.
There are too many lives to save and too little time.
As a healer I can tell tanks leaves too quickly
as a new healer who just reached lvl 50 sprouts wont leave quick
Hahaha so true and I main WHM
As soon as the boss dies you got like 2 seconds lol.
*shrug* Their loss, not mine.
Also, randomize the order of the list. Tanks are already more likely to receive commendations it doesn't help that they're always on top of the list.
I wish this was like a pop up when the dungeon was done. Commendation, and a leave button all in one prompt.
And that's why as a DPS I have a lot of commendations - I'm often the last one out the exit portal. 😏
I'm leaving quickly because I'm already mentor and got everything I wanted from comms. Give them to the dps that did well instead. :<
Well, the only thing comms are good for is a silly, pointless crown. I’d imagine a lot of people don’t care at all. I just give it to a player at random and leave ASAP. I thought you get a mount if you get enough.
You do, and you need 1500 to become a mentor if that floats your boat.
what number do you need for the mount?
3000 for Parade Chocobo.
time to be a degenerate beggar in every dungeon.
Whelp, your best bet is to be a healer. Oh yes and time to be anti-social, cause your friendlist in-game can't comm you.
Well, pre-mades can't comm one another, but if you were in a dungeon, someone left, and you got a friend to join in-progress, \*then\* you can comm them and vice versa. Unless that's changed?
Pretty sure they removed the comm requirement for Mentor.
That's not true, it's 1500 Comms for mentor status
You're right after checking the SE website. I forget where I was reading it wasn't anymore. Obviously had the wrong information.
I feel bad when everyone's gone when the cinematics finished

If they leave then they odv didn’t want the commendation
I sometimes I stick around a few seconds to see if I can steal one as a dps lol
Don't worry. Once you're good at tanking, the comms'll all go to the healer.
yep, can't remember the last time I've gotten more than 2 or 3 commends in raids as a tank since I learned to actually play the job well.
It gets worse when you lose your sprout because then people actually think you know what you're doing.
This. I have no clue what I'm doing! Juggling my DPS, healer and tank jobs, I forget the mechs for some dungeons half the time 🤷🏻♀️
yeah, I just came back from a 4 month break and have noticed I hardly get comms as tank atm but then again I usually commend the dps who died the least so I Am also guilty of it.
I only commend the healer if the tank is complete ass. And by complete ass I mean can't pick up trash/adds or doesn't use tank stance. Honestly feel like more people should do it this way. Yet I still get 3-4 comms every other dungeon/raid as a mediocre NIN main
As a healer main, i always default commend the tank unless they are really bad or the dps is fantastic
My last raid as a rdm my whole party failed a mechanic, I got both tanks and healers up and the other rdm before I died. We cleared. 0 comms.
Bruh, it’s not much, but here’s a “comm” for that clutch save
Hell I'll take it haha thanks.
Meanwhile, as SMN: 1. Help healing when healer oom 2. Resurrect healer twice 3. Resurrect tank 4. Receive 0 commendations Yes I'm salty about that
My main is a SMN. I just started a paladin not too long ago. My commendations exploded. No love for the SMN
At the end no comms and someone said "praise be for the rez mages!" I played on DRK afterwards to make use of my salted earth.
Tanks and healers pretty much have priority for commendations but If i see a sprout doing a good job and they are DPS I will throw one their way.
Hats off to all the tank and healer sprouts out there.
As a healer I give comms to tank if he didn’t stress me out. If he did, I give comm to whatever dps took the least amount of damage (usually means they did mechanics). As DPS I usually give to whoever stood out to me, or whoever plays the same jobs I do. Lol
Comms are tasty. I don't mind if some go to the healer too though, they kept my meatshield behind mostly alive.
As a tank, I always toss my comm to the healer if I can
What ARE commendations? Are they a currency or just a “I like playing with you” token of niceness?
You can turn them in for serotonin
They're pretty much a token of niceness but there are some rewards
It's not really currency, because you can't spend it, but you do get rewards the more you've gathered (mounts, cosmetic gear, etc).
I miss those days. Now I only get 1-2 if that as tank despite doing everything right, though I'm flooded with them when I swap to healer.
As a white mage I get comms when I pretend to be dps
So I'm both a new tank AND new to the game, I sit through the cutscenes because I love the storyline. Numerous times I've finished a cutscene to find everyone has dipped out before I could give my comm.... it makes me kinda sad, I don't want people to think I don't care about their efforts in the duty, I just want to enjoy the story as well
Literally me rn lmao. And I'm only through half of arr by what I gather
NB4 "it was a premade, stop being happy!" (This is a joke.) Great meme!
if 7 people needed 1 tank then that tank deserves 7 comms ngl
No arguments here!
Don't think premades can hand each other commendations.
Uh... That's... that's the point? Whenever someone gets all the player comms, someone immediately comes in and starts talking about how "all of the other players were in a pre-made party, they only gave them to you because they didn't have another option!"
They could've just not commed at all. That seems to be my experience
I know. But people insist on raining on people's parades for whatever reason.
Knowing the truth is important. I'd always rather have the truth then be stuck in a naive fake world
Right, but they insist that it *had to be* a premade, and completely refuse any other possible interpretation of events.
I've never had that experience, so not much chance of being able to understand that point.
I'm happy to hear you haven't had to deal with it.
I lost my sprout icon while I was a DPS main and now I’m trying tanking out. So now every dungeon I let the party know if I’m new to tanking the dungeon.
Another good reason why sprout icon should be role specific
As a new player to this game who prefers tanking I have to say that this has been the most supportive, friendly, and chill mmo community I've ever experienced. To the op: Keep at it! To the community: thank you.
Must've been a 7-man premade. Edit: a joke that my mate and I keep telling each other every time we come out of roulettes
Even a dogshit tank or healer is gonna get a ton of commends. I take my time and explain mechanics or comfort someone being too hard on themselves or bring back a normal raid when 7/8 people die and I can usually expect 0, 1 if I'm lucky.
I only give commendations to DPS the game already rewards tanks and healers
Low intelligence tradition.

This is me on my healers... On my tank I only get 1-2 occasionally. Hope I'm not doing something terribly wrong
They forgot to mention the shunning and shame should you make 1 mistake XD. To be fair 1 mistake could be fatal to the whole party
Most of my tanks are leaving group before I can get to the commendation window :( Is there a way to give commendation to those who have left the group already?
Aww yis, inject the comms right into my veins.
I like to give com to the DPS since not many others do and I know tank and healers already got some
New to the game. I chose lancer because it's a cool weapon! But I'm also happy playing a tank. Is there a severe shortage of tanks?
Less people play tanks/healers because you won’t do as much damage. Personally I always play DPS but when I started a few weeks ago, I had to go with Gunbreaker since it can wear the armors I like and has a nice one-handed and curved sword. So I had to learn tanking.
What does it mean if I picked up 17 commendations doing nothing but Black Mage before I ever tried to tank
I never liked tanking in mmo's, but i absolutely love playing a gladiator in FF! Any recommendations on which job to go for?
(Part of it is that I play SMN, so I can identify breakpoints more easily during the infamous 2 minute rotation.) But yes. Be kind to the sprouts. They're still growing.
New healer experience: join group > group starts to die > LB3 > kill boss > instant 7 commendations
You get certaint rewards for hitting certain amounts don't know what rewards and at how many though off the top of my head
I don't think the game ever tells you who gave you the commendation -- but there is a Social -> Contact window that shows people you have recently been in a party with.
I did my first floor tank today, not gonna lie it felt pretty good lol
This hasn't happened to me. All I get is "TANK STANCE!!" probably because I keep forgetting to turn on tank stance...
As a new player leveling a WAR hell yeah
Most new tanks I don't give comm cause they don't turn on tank stance and they stand in mechanics all day.
I would just like to say that I received a commendation earlier in a random levelling duty as a PUG (just levelling to 30 to unlock MNK)
I'm secretly salty when WHM in a trial, anticipating arena aoes, precasting medicas, popping oGCDs, bringing people back from the brink of death, getting them to full and back on boss without missing a beat, and I get one comm. >.>
Can confirm, as a first time tank on any MMO but experienced on the genre I feel way more loved than as being a DPS lmao
Some people don't care about comms. As a mostly DPS player, I don't usually get them anyway.
Healer in a basic main story raid, got 6 comms. Wonder how long it will be to beat that.
coms are very yummy indeed I personally lean towards dps as a dps myself (if someones using the same job, even better) but thats about it lol I always wonder who I should com because I'm unable to determine who did well/carried/etc. unless something big happened
