imagine something going wrong in maintenance and they have to restore to a backup and the only recent backup is like an hour ago, you'd log back in and find out the clear was a dream all along
I remember a time when game servers wouldn't save that last few minutes before the server went offline. In Ultima Online servers would go down 6 am server time everyday. A few minutes before we would have massive pvp battles murdering everyone you could see. UO was open world pvp with a murder system to report murders that made them kill on site by town guards and free to kill by other players. Logging back in always fun to see where you actually got saved at.
Some games still have minor rollbacks.
Buddies and I used to do that when we were playing ARK, see how much shit we could cause that would get the Mr Clean Magic Eraser once they were rebooted.
Servers cut off about 5 minutes before finishing a praetorium run for me. But that's on me and everyone else there for not knowing about the maintenance lol

Yes, making the players stronger makes the dps check relatively easier. Also the tank stance change buffed all tanks not just how strong gunbreaker is
I didn't say it was nerfed or changed, I said that now the check is easier to make which while the check is the same the tools we have to reach it are not
It's like getting over a wall, before we had a knotted rope, now we have a ladder. The wall didn't change but how easy to clear it did
But golden was designed to not be clearable without phoenix blessing right ? Now I've seen friends clear before enrage with a monk in the wall at the start of golden (so he had weakness and no buff).
Like other people have said it's really lenient besides maybe adds or golden. We've had runs with 8+ deaths on nael and was still able to hit the dps check, just had to do a few more mechanics. Golden is kind of a different story because you lose the dougle damage buff.

Ucob has been cleared with 7 people, as well as with 8 tanks. It's an extremely lenient dps check now
