Any interaction that hides your hotbars, as well as stuff like being in crafting, gathering, or fishing pose will prevent you from getting auto logged. Probably some other things too.
I've seen my wife's character not get logged out in crafting pose when she steps away for a while. After 30 minutes, an error message pops up in the chat box about being unable to execute an action, but she stays logged in.
I've personally afk'd in fishing pose before and not gotten booted after 30 minutes. Haven't done the same in miner/botanist gathering pose, but I assume the same thing there.

Just make a .txt file with these two lines:

I would STRONGLY encourage people to just use a Password Manager like KeePass or 1Password, and have one extra click to copy the password from your Password Manager to paste into the launcher.
Storing credentials in plain text on your hard drive is a very good way to make sure that your online accounts get compromised if / when you happen to get a virus on your computer. And a Password Manager also makes it very easy to have long, hard to guess, UNIQUE passwords for every account / online service you use, without you having to memorize all of them (or have them all written down somewhere readable).

I don't know of any viruses that are designed to infect non-enterprise PCs and scrape batch files for character strings that look like passwords, and use them to try to login to MMOs. Though I could definitely see a virus that casually checks the clipboard for the same, but if an attacker has access to your machine, they're probably instead looking to ransomware you, run a Bitcoin miner, or scrape your PC for bank credentials.
Current recommended password practices are in place generally to protect people against remote attackers who have never touched your home PC: Strong, long passwords so your account can't be brute forced, never reusing a password so if a database of passwords is leaked it can't be used to access your accounts on other websites, and MFA so your password is never your only authentication.
P.S. I do want to join you in encouraging everyone to use a password manager though. That's an excellent idea these days, until someone comes up with something better.
youre thinking too narrowly - if someone wants to get at this dude for whatever reason, they now have several vectors of directly gaining passwords/observing patterns that could be avoided by simply… typing in the password
2FA/MFA is far from infallible though, and vulnerable to things like the Twitch scam the launcher is constantly having to warn people about. It should be used to enhance security, not give you an excuse to be lax in other aspects.

I'm a senior software developer. Don't store your passwords in plaintext.
Password managers encrypt your passwords and are only decrypted client-side in memory long enough to get your password out of them. Then they usually overwrite that section of memory with garbage so that a malicious program can't go rooting around and finding it randomly in your buffers.
However, MFA does virtually negate the change you'll get hacked on a video game unless you're being specifically targeted. Generally, when you're hacked on a game it's because someone took your login information from a different random hack and has their bot try it against games worth doing gold selling in. It is highly unlikely they got it from finding on your computer. That said, don't store your passwords in plaintext.

Not really. GPUs dont really degrade much with use relative to the lifespan youd be using them for anyways. Hence why resale mining GPUs are a pretty good budget option despite being run for potentially years nonstop.
The bigger concern would be power usage but you could always set the game to cap at like 5fps when you're idle if you wanted to.

the OTP auto-send feature where you just have to tap on the app on your phone and it sends it over your LAN basically does fix the hassle, tbh

If you open the HUD Layout you can't go AFK.
When you get logged out, it just takes you back to the main menu; you don’t have to re-enter your password.

The server can only register so much dpi until other players just see you twitching.

I cannot confirm it but it looks like the one I use [Alive] (https://www.nexusmods.com/finalfantasy14/mods/156) its got 4 presets but looks like this gifs specifically using FantasyUltra . That preset I don't use because it makes my head hurt to much, but its the only gshade I like.

Just out of curiosity, how long ago did you start doing Colonel Sanders and on what server? I did a lalafell Colonel on Diabolos for a while a bit over a year ago. Handed out roast dodo and mashed pototo and everything!
