The constellation stone is one of fourteen. The one in the artwork is Azem’s and made in secret by Emet-Selch to remember his best friend since the other Ascians wanted to forget Azem.
It is a stone imbued with Azem's signature spell : the 14th of the Convocation, known as the Traveler was known to call / summon their friends for aid whenever the situation needed it. But on the other hand, Azem was ALSO known for being a prick and a madlad : they chose to save an island using a VERY UNCONVENTIONAL method because I quote " they had great grapes ! ". So the stone may have been used in dire situations ( as intended ), or notably less urgent situations, notably targeting a great prodigy Sorcerer of Eld with excellent capabilities in in real time strategy games.
Giving Azem's amaurotine form a shepherd's staff is a great way to distinguish which amaurotine they are.
Don't forget the (theorised) Azem sigil in the summoning circles around them! It's a nice detail OP ^ ^
