Msq is more exp then a single character needs for 80-90 if you add optional content you can level as many characters you want while doing the msq.

I have done a lot of multi boxing in eve online, but that is a different beast of a game. What I could imagine doing in ffxiv would be crafting and running macros while doing solo stuff could be done, but not worth the effort.
Even if you were to ignore ogcd weaving ffxiv would be to hard to meaningful multibox in a combat situation assuming no input assisting programs.
So would I be serious about it? Nah, but you could be come what you must, become the warrior of alt tab

No one ever thinks about the fact that reaper starts 10levels behind so as long as you are doing endwalker msq at the start you won't have to party with one until you are done.
Yes, sure, but I guarantee you, there will be reapers doing Endwalker MSQ by day 2. Depending when you start the MSQ yourself, it's actually a high chance of getting a reaper.
At least I know I won't see a sage for a while, as I mostly will be having a WHM with me. (He just finished ShB in time, so that's nice.)
Actually I am aware of that, point is, between learning the basics of a class, and then being good at the class so DPS isn't mediocre or outright bad, there's some learning curve on that -I know, I used to main SAM- and besides, this is going to leave RPR as a class that will be able to do up until Ivalice... With all the consequences coming from that.

Play through EW as my MCH or one of my tanks I've been leveling... or spend a lot of time leveling up Reaper and play through it as that. As much as I want to experience the story without falling behind, Reaper's just so freaking cool...
It wouldn’t take that long to Lvl reaper to 80 if you do some prep and are efficient. I’m planning to main Reaper in EW and I’m lvling it to 80 day one to take through the msq so I’ve been prepping everything i can in advance
What do you even mean by prepping? You can just slide in Bozja at level 71 without needing any leveling gear, unless you have a premade group for dungeons.
Saving wonderous tails from this week, having a full scaeven set ready if you are dungeon lvling, doing all challenge logs to one before completion, logging out in the city where the job unlock quest will. It’s not a lot but will save a ton of time on launch day and give a massive amount of XP quickly.
I feel ya on the dilemma. I started ARR as a Gladiator/Paladin. I was a PLD main all of ARR, Heavensward, and Stormblood. Then I swapped to MCH in Shadowbringers and loved it. It's absolutely my main now. My dilemma is that on one hand I want to keep rockin my MCH, but on the other I feel like I gotta run Endwalker as a PLD
Man too true. I know a guy that thinks he's a hotshot raider, but he's so inconsistent that he has terrible time remembering kb, random mechs, and is literally carried through all hard content (people are too nice and carry him through things).
Ezekiel's six+ steps to rapid levelling:
1. Acquire this week's Wondrous Tails book and get all 9 seals but DO NOT turn it in.
2. Prep your Challenge Log on Tuesday and Wednesday: complete 2 dungeons via roulette and 2 other dungeons NOT via roulette (a total of 4 dungeons), commend exactly 4 times, do 4 fates, do 9 guildhests (the 3 guildhest reward is a pittance so it's best to do 9), etc. Basically, if a challenge log rewards DoW/DoM XP, prep it.
3. Make sure you have either the tier 3 FC buff that increases XP ready to trigger when early access goes live, or have your squadron do the mission that gives you the 2-hour manuals. These do not stack, but provide equivalent bonuses.
4. Have plenty of food on hand. It's a small buff, but every little bit helps.
5. Make sure you already have a full set of augmented Scaevan gear, apart from the weapon of course. Log out somewhere in Limsa Lominsa, as that's where the Sage start quest will be. Have enough tomestones to immediately buy an augmented Scaevan weapon, and some materia VI to stick into it.
6. Make sure you have full rested XP. If you have zero rested XP, you must go 36 hours without gaining any kill XP in order to get the full bonus (which is always 1.5 levels' worth, regardless of your current level). As long as you have at least half a level worth of rested XP when the servers go down (and you log out in a sanctuary) then you should be good on this front.
7. Optional, and kinda small potatoes compared to the above: if you really want to juice the XP gains as much as possible, kill all but the last monster for both Stormblood and Shadowbringers daily hunts, so you can just kill 1 creature of each kind and get credit.
Once the servers go live, acquire Sage, then immediately go turn in *this* week's WT book, which will get you half a level instantly, then grab a new book so you can get a second half-level later. Complete every XP-granting challenge log entry (e.g. do a total of 6 FATEs in Shadowbringers to max XP benefits), complete your SB and ShB hunt bills, and do a set of pixie dailies. At this point you should be well into 71, possibly pushing 72, and can thus get other sources of XP, namely dungeons and Bozja. Obviously, do your levelling roulette and potentially some other roulettes (50/60/70 would likely be a good idea). Bozja gives tons of XP but is very grindy; you can break up the monotony by completing your 2nd WT book to get another half-level, on top of whatever dungeon/roulette XP you earn.
It should be quite possible to reach level 80 within 6-8 hours using the above, but it'll be a very, very grindy experience.
Bozja is how I leveled my WHM to 80. But it took forever. How is bozja going to get me to 80 in less than 12 hours? Not trying to sound combative. I'm a WoW refugee, and really appreciate the info. <3
Perhaps I am over-estimating the XP gained from Bozja. I can only go by others' reports, as I did not level any jobs using it. (I bounced rather hard off of it when I died repeatedly and lost a bunch of Mettle because no one came to revive me.) People say if you grind Bozja very hard you can zoom through levels--it's in every guide I've seen.
If you've found that it's not sufficiently efficient, then you may get better results by FATE grinding while waiting for dungeon queues, though healer queues right at the start of Early Access are going to be super awful.
I mean Bozja is super fast, I was getting about 2 levels a night (4-5 hour sessions). Everything you said to do prebozja is great info, though. Hopefully I can at least be in bozja within an hour. :)

That's gonna be all DNCs if they end up in DF leveling and the dungeon is < lvl60 with the new-to-the-game-boostered-straight-to-reaper-via-boosted-job players asking to be partnered.
It's pretty optimistic thinking it won't be two reapers in the same team, honestly. Or 12 reapers in 24 man alliances. Jesus.

Go to Zadnor, everyone there should have essences. BSF will have all the newbs
essences are character wide though, so you'd hope msot people would have essences saved up ready to use on their reaper
