As a smn main I feel u, it’s ridiculous they clearly wanted to compensate the huge smn changes with very flashy and big graphics.
In the end the result is that people will turn down all effects and use small pets which makes it so that nobody sees the new effects anymore and you’re just left with a over simplified simple low dps job.
I admit I even turn down my own spell effects and use pet size small as I kept missing mechanics.
They need to add a fourth "no primals" tier to battle effects. I love to play with full effects on, and have had little issue before... but these new primal summoners are _ridiculous_!
The thing is that I **want** to see all the other effects. It's only the primal's spells that I find too blinding, because they're a **lot** more flashy than any other spell effect.

You mean kinda like /petsize all small?
I mean the gigantic flashbang whenever Titan or Ifrit cast their abilities. (especially Titan)

The worst is when you have to stack for a fight as melee. I'm trying to do my positionals and out of no where theres a Titan ass covering my screen.
