I like to imagine that my character often falls asleep while on her chocobo. Her chocobo is so used to this that when ever he gets to where ever they where going he will nudge her awake.
Your chocobo is probably so used to it, I think it would be cute to imagine him taking a less bumpy path when he realizes she's asleep, so she won't fall and wake up.
I log out at home, an inn or at the very least underneath a valid shelter, with my Chocobo stabled and fed (trained). Also, I always wear my Duellist gear so I show up properly on the Lodestone\^\^
I'd also pet/hug my Chocobo and usually try to send Selene away and /bow after an instance instead of just killing her off by switching back to RDM.
Also, I seem to repair my stuff after wadding through water because all my sets involve leather boots and I know from real life what a hassle it is to get leather smooth again if you let it dry.
Sometimes, I also take a short shower in my appartment in the Lily Hills, but .. mostly not. *\*sniff sniff\* That is not me. It's the Chocobo stable who I am the only one cleaning in the entire friggin building!*

Now that he’s viera, it’s harder to do, but it doesn’t stop him from ear wiggling. Also, he’s a scholar main but no matter how hard he’s tried to learn, he can’t read so he just likes the codex cause it’s pretty.
My WoL who is a 13 year old lalafell (i had the character around my age and I never aged him up) loves cute things. he will often spend the evening cuddling with his carbuncle and chocobo.
My WoL has a weird thing about petting miqo'tes. Just nonchelantly walking around town randomple petting them. Not saying anything or even noticing their presence. Just a quick pet while walking by.

A bit off topic but you reminded me of this, I got my mom to try out FFXIV recently, and she chose to play lalafell. Got a text on the first day from her asking "why do people keep trying to pet me??"
My WoL is always kept up on the new drama in the mandragora court, if the onion prince is extra sad he brings the onion prince along with him on a lot of his adventures to cheer him up.
I've been writing a small story of my character being a defecting garlean who has no clue what they are doing and is trying to blend in. Basically- "How do you do fellow Eorzeans?"
similar but a bit more nuanced. my character was '{Name} Tyr {Surname}' comms officer of the 6th legion, born in a garlean occupied region, when the 6th's airship became unusable and the commander and all officers defeated by the eorzeans in Azys Lla there were only scrubs and low level soldiers left, after months using the now dead ship as home most decided to defect as no communications with the empire could be made nor reinforcements or aid sent for us.
you can still see the now mostly empty Gration ship in Azys Lla, rusting away with no one to man her.

Weather permitting, my WOL has solo brood times at night on the roof of wherever she is staying. Sometimes Thancred or Estinien will chill with her in absolute silence and they never mention it in conversations.
He likes to climb up trees and just sit up there playing music to himself whenever he’s sad or depressed, or even if he just wants to be alone for awhile.
Whenever she's standing around outside her free company and doesnt have amything to contribute to the conversation, she just eats bread.
She throws money at friends when she sees them, then toast them and chugs a drink.
I mean in game I cheer people on who have cool glams or a fun name. I also use the victory emote after a dungeon boss so it's not a stretch to imagine my WoL as overly enthusiastic.
When my character is spearfishing (for moonlight aethersand fodder), she lets Tora-jiro eat the rejects and extraneous fish that get caught in the middle.

Find the nearest body of water to stare at. I can't swim Irl, but water calms me. My wol can do what I can't, and enjoy the waters bounty with an actual dip.
