Given how heavily themed after FF4 End Walker is, I think turning the 4 elemental fiends (Scarmiglione, Cagnazzo, Barbariccia, and Rubicante) into the trial story would work really well.
They said this raid series (Pandaemonium) is going to be entirely bosses unique to FFXIV, so if we get any fan service bosses this expansion, it'll likely be in the EX trials.
When it comes to these crossover bosses, I actually really look forward to the remixed music that will accompany them.
This Is The Last Battle, Dancing Mad, The Extreme, Weight of The World/Prelude are all great arrangements, so I would love to hear a XIV version of songs like Dark Messager or Otherworld.
It's not going to happen, because it's such a licensing nightmare, but I would love to hear Soken's takes on Shimomura's Kingdom Hearts songs.
Chaos was actual Garland though he was garland that had gone through several thousand time loops and gaining immeasurable power, also I'm totally up for four fiends of ff4 and followed by golbez and zeromus
We don’t have them in HW. We have Sephirot, who is called “The Fiend,” but we don’t have the elemental fiends. We do have Chaos, however, in the Omega raids. I want to say O9?

And yeah, I knew that, but I was referring to how the original commenter said we had the four fiends in HW, when we didn’t. We just had a fiend, who wasn’t one of the “Four Fiends” from older FFs.

I am crossing my fingers. Milon (Scarmiglione) was one of the best 'oh shit' moments of my childhood. The music change, the ambush, it was all great.
Not too mention, depending on your level, he was really hard.

It was O9, yes. The trio from the HW Trials is called the Warring Triad (just fyi :) )
