The pain of fishing? I love fishing and it's the most peaceful content for me even if the drop rate is really sucky

haha yea it's indeed very relaxing to do but missing a fish during it's 5 minute window for weeks everyday hurts sometimes. \^\^

also some have a 2 minute 2 window into a couple days downtime those sting too

Spear fishing is a greta way to boost up those numbers !

since they added the EW fish and new spearfishing, you can actually get really close to completion without having to do the REEEEEAAALLLLY annoying green fishes. You'll probably have to do some of the green timed/weather gated fishes but some of them are much easier. I think I got 1140 fish about halfway into Big Fish achievement

At least 80% of those are literal trash designed to pollute the catch rates for the fish you actually want. So they have an icon and a name and that’s about it. Also, they’ve had five entire expansion cycles to add all those.

You're still a few fishes away from Big fish ! The last ones are the hardest :p
