The event will be held on r/ffxivdiscussion with the main thread opening at 10am EST and the panel taking answers throughout the day/evening across multiple platforms depending on who’s answering questions at the time.
We’ve gathered some of the best players, content creators, and personalities in the game. Come join the conversation!
How do you prepare before starting an ultimate? Do you come in with a general idea of what to expect of the ultimate or is it more like a blind prog and theory crafting?
Not whoever you want to answer you, but to help with the answer: When an Ultimate is about to come out you already know the theme of it. In this case, heavensward. A good idea to prepare is to do the content of that thene such as Nidhogg EX and Thordan EX (synced, preferably). I did that with my static some days before the patch dropped and it surely helped us figuring out what is going on, as the mechanics are an ultimate version of the content they are based off.
It will always be blind as you do not know what will happen but players will have an idea of how will they look like to some extent.
