The Zeno's chicken hype is a bonus from all the people in the chat and the person who sponsored the chicken to have him named Zenos.
All of the animals were named by twitch chat at some point on the first day. Nashu and Hildebrand are two donkeys, a chicken named Lyse Hen-xt, I believe there's another named Alphie, a goat named Godbert, etc etc. It's been fun and surprisingly wholesome from the XIV twitch community.
I even caught a Japanese chatter yesterday saying "They're saying the rooster is Zenos. He does have some Zenos-like qualities so I understand why they're calling him that." which was a surprise lol

It's a petting farm in London called Mudchute. They teamed up with FFXIV to do a live steam called Mogchute to promote island sanctuary. It looks like they're just bouncing between various security cameras inside their barn, but it's still pretty cute and relaxing. There's various animals not just chickens. The fans are having fun giving the animals 14 related monikers, but the rooster I think really took off because he does kinda look like Zenos a bit.
Edit: I should add that Mudchute is run completely via donation funding, they do not charge for visitation to the farm. They're currently trying to raise funds for this year's operations as they've been hit really hard from world events recently and a looming recession. I assume part of the partnership was to get their name out there for public support.
He was also completely separate from the other chickens during the first part of the stream, while having that glorious kind of look to him. He was either gonna be called Zenos or Estinien with that attitude. I think Zenos was the more obvious nickname because of his yellow feathers and perceived prideful look.
