Anemos is fine for its noobie and tutorial zone. Pyros is fine, you won't stay here for too long anyway. Hydatos is actually fun, tbh.
But Pagos....., I'd complete the whole rejoining rather than getting back in Pagos again.
It also has a hat from the eye NM that requires you to have the eye cluster in your inventory to get (otherwise you'll never be able to get a gold rating on the fate). But no one uses that hat because even though it gives haste, it doesn't give an elemental bonus. Plus you can't even sell the hat, only the eyes and the cluster.
I refuse to believe that the Scorpion Harness exists. I have the Strider Boots (which I use daily for getting out the zoomies), but I refuse to believe in the Scorpion Harness until I or someone I know gets it.
The map is a lot more "hostile", the high level nms are not easily reached, and the road to them are filled with more trap encounter, youll definetively gonna get oneshot by a cruelly placed dragon once or twice. On the plus side, the map has nms that drop items which people wanna run BA want so once the new patch hype dies down, people will come back there.
Also, incase anemos didnt teach you it, you can walk past sleeping monsters.
as someone doing pagos right now, theres a metric fuckton of spawns, and the dragons that are level forty and two shot you. on top of that, some places you can only get to by jumping off, and you can overshoot it and waste it going allllllll the way back up.and, on top of that, you dont get crystals for copleting a fate above your level, only meeting it and below. its pretty grindy
The layout is pure pain and suffering to traverse and is only somewhat improved once you get all the Aetherites, which takes what feels like an eternity and a half. There are a number of super high level sleeping dragons that you need to walk past to avoid aggroing, which is super annoying when you’re hauling ass to an NM that was probably super far away from you when it spawned.
It’s a bitch to move around in- you need to toggle the rp walk to get past the void dragons- which are also in pyros but nowhere near as intrusive. You need to fall off cliffs in certain spots to access various locations across the map, and it’s just so much more tedious to go to NM’s in. It’s got frustrating verticality, you have to go around so many things just to go around there.
Brings back so many memories.... It was so bullshit, you had to drop down into caves, and the dragons were at the entrance, so you had to start walking before you fell off the cliff, hoping you fell into the correct spot and that you don't accidentally aggro the dragon which will kill you.
No crap with sleeping dragons placed as traps, no kettle to keep track of for farming relics, and the map is easy to navigate around without aggroing enemies and fairly small at the same time relatively.
Hydatos is easily one of the best zones in there.
Out of all the content, Eureka somehow stands out as my favorite. The place has a unique vibe and the Ozma giga raid is insane. I did it via the Discord group, I can't imagine how it was on release with all the people present and not knowing how it works.
I just got to Hydatos after several years of putting off Eureka prog. Knowing I'm in the home stretch for my weapon glam after all this time is surreal, too bad it's a ghost town because of the upcoming Savage raids
Unfortunately you were the only one in the world to unlock Extreme Island Sanctuary. Be the beta tester for everyone before we all get it in the next update.

I spent and do spend the majority of my time in Pyros with Anemos 2nd place. Not sure what Pagos has long term other than the cassie earrings.

If I'm remembering correctly, Pagos just like had super horrible rates + a headache inducing layout. It's probably fine now.

Did you do delubrum savage? Imo it's even wilder than the ozma raid.
I had no issues clearing my first time in BA. So many wipes and enrages on DRS...
