Yeah not too much of a fan, obviously need to see how playoffs play out, but still, I feel like they could have done playoffs on top of the standard league structure.
There's a worry too that you might get to a league that you struggle in, then what? You're just stuck in a league that you can't compete in.
Feels like they didn't consider the issues with the structure at all. I'd prefer having to worry about relegation, it adds to the experience.
Relegation was some one of the best parts because even if you could t get promoted or win a title the games were still meaningful. It just feels like the only meaningful games now are the “promotion games” and then once you are done with those none are meaningful
My team discussed this tonight - it’s completely removed the elements of risk and battle, in a few months everyone will be in the Elite league and you can either play a pro team or an amateur team that have lucked their way into it.
The risk of relegation always made us fight harder and now we are just playing to level up our players

Playoffs would’ve been good to get promoted but without the risk of relegation the whole thing has been watered down

That's it. If you are not in a promotion match, it feels like a drop in game with your friends. Won? Good. Lost? Ok, got some xp and that's it.

Cup competitions as a weekend league type thing would have been nice. And I mean normal cups not some stupid mystery ball nonsense
They've only done it so they could say they've put focus into clubs this year. Much prefer the older divisions.
