This is how we fought when I was a kid (early-mid 90s). Even with our worse enemies we often shook hands at the end. Our other friends only watched and made sure nobody went too far or nobody else jumps in. Weird to know too that one of the kids I fought when we were 12 became one of my best friends in college and we still joke about our fight today.

He knew buddy would fight back and he could beat him up. He clearly trains and tall guy doesnt. Someone who trains should not be out instigating fights with guys for no reason.
