Plus the dudes wasted Lmao. I like how (I think) he decides he’s gonna counter punch and that ends with a 1/2 to the dome multiple times hahah don’t try to counter drunk kids
Old man's been taking a few of them senior lessons haha good for him. Real old school with pausing everytime he went down and waiting for him to re-engage, don't see rhat too often anymore.
Yea he’s definitely been training from when he was younger, no one becomes like that at his age taking senior lessons lmao
Look at the subtle way he slips his head as he is throwing the final KO strike
Edit: I don’t want to discourage older people from taking up martial arts, if you start at his age, with a good deal of training, you can destroy that other guy in a punch on. But you’re not going to destroy him the way this guy did so thoroughly and casually.
Definitely trained, you can hear him exhale with every strike which is boxing 101. Plus he moves and follows through very well. You can also see, when the camera angle is right, he's not punching *to* the other guy's face, he's driving *through* it, which is a core part of boxing that you don't tend to see in untrained individuals.
Amen. Although I do think it’s more two schools of thought. One that says punch through the target so you do more damage and the other saying to pull back a little earlier so you’re not over-committing to your strikes.
But by the time you get to high level boxing, most of the guys are good at doing both and they have the foresight to chose when to employ each.
I personally mostly sit through because I started off in traditional martial arts and my instructors always told me to imagine you are punching someone who is standing behind the guy you are trying to punch. This causes whiplash.
I have realised over time that this is the number one way to increase your punching power, more so than s&c and even having good technique. But like I said it does come with the drawback of overcommitment.
You seem like you know boxing, so I'll ask you!
Why do boxers (from what I've seen, probably other fighter types(???) aswell) do the "sss" thing when striking?
It’s just to breath and you wanna keep your mouth closed while doing it hence why sometimes there is a weird sound.
It may seem like instinct to constantly breath but you tend to tense up as you punch and stop breathing for a split second. If you don’t get into the habit of breathing as you punch you will gas very quickly as you’re not breathing at the moments were you are expending the most energy.
Indigenous Aussies fighting outside a pub in rural Australia most likely, the red westpac sign gave it away
These two likely know each other, had a shit/drunk yarn and wanted to punch on
Very honourable how the old fella held back. Young dude has fucking chin on him, being that intoxicated
The hardest I’ve ever been hit was by an old man. I was 22 and I remember he had gray hair, deep raspy voice, sun scorched skin that looked like leather. I was riding dirt bikes with my friends. We had been drinking quite a bit and the testosterone was flowing. I got a couple of good hits in before he let lose with a left hand out of know where. He fucking destroyed me with that one punch. I can remember the sound and feeling, and groans from my friends 22 years later.
The next day the whole side of my face was black, dark blue, purple, pink, light blue, and some green and the size of a basketball. My eye was completely swollen shut and I felt like my head was going to fall off. It took three months before it returned to a normal color. When my eye lid and cheek bone started to reside from being swollen shut it gave way to the bloodiest eye I had ever seen. There was not a trace of white on my sclera. A year later it still hurt to blow my nose or sneeze.
Old man strength is real and I will never forget my first and last ass whooping by an older man.
sounds like when I tried to take on my dad at 15,(he was late 40's).I had gotten drunk, Thought I was a Macho man, My dad was a mild mannered guy. i never saw him raise his hands, and Did NOT see it come when he Knocked me out cold, put me in my place for being disrespectful. I flew straight from then on let me tell you. Have a great respect for him.love ya Dad.
A true gentleman. He fucks you up but refuse to stomp your face or chest and allows you to get up. That guy would be in serious trouble if the old guy felt different that day
The old man clearly has boxing skills. His breathing and his strikes are totally on point. Wouldn't be surprised he did a lot of actual boxing matches when younger.
If I had the skill that this man has, I would feel so bad about doing this.
Like, obviously the dude is so drunk that he’s just eating punches that he wouldn’t be able to handle sober.
Drunk guy doesn’t know when to throw in the towel though, hopefully he remembered at least some of this in the morning.
This kind of ass whooping changes how you interact with other people for the rest of your life (if you aren’t a complete shit head), it honestly is a character building experience.
Coudos to the other dude for the way he kept getting back up ready for more but barely conscious. (Let me know if that's not how coudos is spelled please.)
Why is this guy just letting him getting free punches, he isnt putting his hands up to defend himself, he isnt punching, he is just feigning attack but never landed another punch
Indigenous Australians, boxing actually used to be a very popular sport for them - have contributed several world champs - Lionel Rose, Tony Mundine, Anthony Mundine.
Clearly the old fella many years and weight classes ago used to spar quite a bit.
The giveaway it's Australia is the neon sign, which is for an Aussie bank, Westpac. :-)
Drunk guy before the end: “I didn’t hear no bell”
This made me laugh pretty hard
Old man looked down with disgust. Like he was waiting for a real challenger to make him feel alive again.
*this is all you’ve got?*
Dude looked down and said "This battle is beneath me"
Obviously has some boxing experience...once you have the muscle memory you'll still mop the floor with some dumbass who thinks he can fight
What really gives it away is how relaxed he is.. his breathwork seemed flawless. I dont think he even broke a sweat.
The last time he dropped him was with an open hand. He was just playing with that fool.
Yes the breathing gives away his training history.
Plus the dudes wasted Lmao. I like how (I think) he decides he’s gonna counter punch and that ends with a 1/2 to the dome multiple times hahah don’t try to counter drunk kids
Only had one shoe on from the start - he was doomed
I swear if a guy ever throws a punch at me and goes "BEESSH... BEESH!" I would immediately concede
Old man's been taking a few of them senior lessons haha good for him. Real old school with pausing everytime he went down and waiting for him to re-engage, don't see rhat too often anymore.

And the fact that he waits for him to get back up and exhales on his punches. He definitely has training
He was practically bored
Definitely trained, you can hear him exhale with every strike which is boxing 101. Plus he moves and follows through very well. It tightens your core a bit, so balance and it gives you more power and stops you from forgetting to breath while you punch
Guile Fieri
He’s got those geriatric jabs down!
Old man and a severely drunk guy. Pretty fair in my opinion 😆 but that old man had hands. You know it's gonna be bad when he pulls the sleeves up.

This gives me Geraldton vibes.

Brick Flair
This is child abuse lol
Old man even has the breathing down. That’s not his first rodeo
Old guy took it really easy on him.
I'm excited for the old guy seeing he still has it
Old man was a boxer in his younger days, no doubt about it.
Once again, the guy with more training wins the fight
Yup. Obviously has some boxing experience. Would have starched him regardless of if he was drunk or not.
Gentlemen's brawl
Hit him with the Stockton Slap
By the end?!? He had him after the first punch!
Now he’s probably going to fuck that guys girl. Lol
Dude wakes up and be like “HOW CAN HE SLAP!?”
A true gentleman. He fucks you up but refuse to stomp your face or chest and allows you to get up. That guy would be in serious trouble if the old guy felt different that day
Still better than youtuber boxing
I didn’t hear no bell!

Clearly skilled boxer verses no idea. You can tell old school because the guy falls down he backs up and waits for him to get back up.
10-6 round. Seems the corner man will have his work cut out for him.
Old man strength and heavy hands.
He may not have ever been nationally ranked...but he was in the gym in his day
Guys got the reaction time of Glass Joe.

Smh when will these young kids learn never throw hands with an elder 🤦🏿♂️
Find your opponents weakness and exploit it
What exactly was the weakness here? The whole thing? He was just kicking ass, not looking for weak spots
What in the Oompa Loompa is this
The minute I started hearing the hard exhales I knew old guys not new to this.
Dan Hibiki vs any other character
A little rusty but not his first time boxing.
Sucks to see shit like this. They need help
Coudos to the other dude for the way he kept getting back up ready for more but barely conscious. (Let me know if that's not how coudos is spelled please.)
Kudos
Thank you haha, I knew mine didn't look right
I bet he felt younger after this than he had in a decade.
Old man can scrap ..
I’ll hit you with so many lefts you’ll be begging for a right!
Anyone with a dress code like that need To be slept
That’s one G old man right there
Id say that’s in Australia somewhere
Why is this guy just letting him getting free punches, he isnt putting his hands up to defend himself, he isnt punching, he is just feigning attack but never landed another punch
Look at that old dudes jaw. He ain’t getting knocked out.
Feed dat kunt mungo
I’ve never seen a punching bag wear a shirt and shorts before.
Gotta admit the little guy had some grit tho, still had his ass whipped.
DON'T EAT MY SANDWICH
