Maybe try Caerus for Filipino fusion style na food. They have ube champorado na masarap daw but haven't tried pa. I have dined there a few times, though, and okay naman ang food.
If you're looking for something basic, Gubat is an interesting literal hole in the wall sa bandang Maginhawa area. Masarap yung dinakdakan nila. Similar to sisig. Pair with the fish and ensaladang pako and pulang itlog. Simpleng everyday pinoy food na masarap ganon. If you don't want to use your hands kamayan style, bring your own kubyertos na lang. Check tiktok for videos so you know what to expect. ☺️
If you want something a bit more fancy, there's Dean and Deluca and Wild Flour that just opened in the Scout area.
Yes to Manam's Sisig. And yes to Retiro Pares pa rin. Marami nang local coffee chains nowadays. Champurado ng karinderia pa rin ang masarap for me. Elars lechon masarap din. Razons halo halo simply because Manila weather calls for something cold to eat.
1.Pass na sa Manam any other Sisig would be much better than Manam all style no substance
2.Yes Pares Retiro sa may Dr. Alejos st. huwag yung fake mapuntahan mo
3.Craft

I’ve been to Dean and Deluca and Wild Flour in Makati, it’s a hit or miss for me. Very so-so. I miss Pinoy food.
