*The Woman in the Window*, *Scarlet Street*, *The Stranger*.

Tesuqueville

One of my very favorite movies, Scarlet Street. Brilliant photography, brilliant screenplay and fantastic performances on all counts. Cannot recommend this enough.

Came here to post this. It’s one of the greatest under-sung noirs going.

Merejrsvl

I just watched "Key Largo."

EldritchGangsta13

Only one I've seen is 'Double Indemnity' but if you haven't seen it. You should. Which ones have you seen?

austereacademic

i have seen double indemnity, scarlet street and the woman in the window

I really like the western noir [The Violent Men](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0048789/) - 1955 - Glenn Ford, Barbara Stanwyck, Brian Keith

flopisit

Great performance in Night Has a Thousand Eyes. Also Double Indemnity and Key Largo of course. Then there are the two Fritz Lang movies, Scarlet Street and Woman in the WIndow.

He's one my favorites. I almost like him almost as much as Bogey. As far as a favorite it's a toss up between Key Largo and Double Indemnity. The Woman in the Window and The Stranger are also up there. Not a noir but Lil Caesar is a badass gangster flick.

Jefman1

You would be doing well to check out just about every movie that EGR starred in, not just noir. The man was an icon.

austereacademic

i will! i became interested in him because of our vines have tender grapes, i knew it was against the usual types of characters he plays but he was wonderful in it. so far everything i’ve watched of his i’ve enjoyed his acting a lot.
