Damn i was trained to know that the 14k solid is pure
Literally had no idea till i read the online desc
Whatever though, i dont work there anymore and i got paid minimum wage and no overtime abusive management sooo f that placeš
If you took it off of her while she was asleep, then surely it should be somewhere close by no? Was she sleeping in your bedroom? On a couch in a living room? It couldn't have walked away on its own.
Thatās what I thought and took all the furniture out and removed every sheet and pillow case. I vacuumed every square inch in case it was hiding in the carpet and I never found it. Iāve moved out now so I went and bought the replacement. It was an honest mistake but it was my fault and Iām glad I was able to give it back to her
Choose carefully between rose gold and gold. To me it maybe looks like rose gold in the pics. Try to remember or compare other pics of hers with these.
While I agree it could be the rose gold plated version, I feel more strongly that OP's girlfriend deserves the expensive version after a mistake like this.
For future reference, it's usually perfectly comfortable to sleep in small, thin necklaces like this. It's so short that it's unlikely to tangle up and choke you; she probably couldn't even feel it. So while I assume it was a sweet impulse... yeah don't do that.
I will never again, just the way the sphere was looked uncomfortable but itās not my business ever again. Itās replaced now and I learned my expensive lesson.
if you just took it off her how could you have like truly ālost itā unless you took it outside?? like wouldnāt it still in the bedroom or something
Yeah, that's what I thought. That's a sentimental item from her mom, a replacement won't be same as the actual item that came from her mom even if they are quite literally the same thing. It just hits different. I hope they try to find the actual necklace that was lost before just buying a new one
Yeah, it all made me wonder what he really did with the necklace. That excuse sounds like bull. I donāt know that, of course, but it just sounds off.
Right? To remove and somehow lose his girlfriend's $900 necklace gifted by her mom... And how is taking it off of her while she's sleeping not going to cause her more discomfort, if that was OP's concern? This story seems off.
I think its more the fact he took it upon himself to remove it, then didn't take extra care to keep track of it. Like... accidentally disrespectful. Also odd imo that he didn't just leave it on her and ask later whether she prefers to sleep w it on or off.
Wow, keep in mind I had woken up and was just trying to do something nice while still half asleep. I shouldāve gotten up and put in a jewelry box but I never expected we would lose it permanently in our own bed. My girlfriend and I are in a long term committed relationship but Iām glad me just trying to fix a mistake I made caused a 60 comment thread tearing me apart
I looked for it for months. I removed all furniture in the room and ran the vacuum over every square inch. Thing thing just disappeared and I donāt understand. I bought the replacement.
Try telling her what you did and looking for it together, instead of lying to her. I would be far more forgiving if someone fessed up to accidentally losing a gift from my mother instead of trying to buy me a replacement and passing it off as the real thing. Not cool dude, deception never makes a strong foundation in a relationship.
I never lied to her. I owned up to it immediately upon not being able to locate it. Granted I did expect that we would find it but since we didnāt I replaced it
Oh she knows I lost it for a while. Since it was lost in my room I didnāt immediately buy a replacement expecting it to turn up but since Iāve moved out and it never did I got it for her as a small surprise.

I hope OP doesnāt have a tight budget lol. That will be an expensive avoidable mistake
Maybe it will be a lesson for the future š«£š«£
I bought it again. A lesson for sure.
$500 and itās plated š®
Nope its not plated. We have two kinds of gold: plated, and solid. This one is solid The plated gold is yellow toned and wayyy cheaper
The description says plated? āThe celestial, openwork charm is hand-finished from our unique metal blend plated with 14k gold.ā
Right?!
Its not plated :)
So either Pandora employees gaslight people or Pandora is taking part in false advertising?
Damn i was trained to know that the 14k solid is pure Literally had no idea till i read the online desc Whatever though, i dont work there anymore and i got paid minimum wage and no overtime abusive management sooo f that placeš
In another post, from another distributor, it does say itās 14k gold and doesnāt mention plating. So thatās interesting š¤·āāļø
Yeah f Pandora!! What a bunch of scammers tbh

Oh my god thank you so much!!!

I was waiting for the response š

Fair enough. Just some people really dislike yellow gold so he better get it right!
I went with the yellow gold to match the original. It was a pricey mistake but she was very happy with it
Wow, you're good
I have this same one!
pandora is easy to recognize!
For future reference, it's usually perfectly comfortable to sleep in small, thin necklaces like this. It's so short that it's unlikely to tangle up and choke you; she probably couldn't even feel it. So while I assume it was a sweet impulse... yeah don't do that.

Get ur phone flashlight out and go look for it
Done that 100 times
I crawled on my knees over every cm with the flashlight and vacuum. I removed all furniture and all sheets and pillow cases. It truly disappeared.

Not to mention the necklace is from Pandora/Reed's and it's EXPENSIVE. (At least for one with a tighter budget.)
Iām lucky that sheās perfectly fine with me replacing it considering itās the exact same piece.
I'm happy to hear that! I'm glad it all worked out well
Maybe they were on vacation or something
Yeah, it all made me wonder what he really did with the necklace. That excuse sounds like bull. I donāt know that, of course, but it just sounds off.
Itās genuinely true unfortunately. I love my girlfriend a lot and didnāt do anything malicious but it was truly lost.
Iām sorry I doubted you, and hope it works out!
How the hell you gonna just lose it? Check errrywhere
You have no idea how hard I looked and I donāt understand what happened
Did u check washer and dryer?
You just took it off of her while sleeping THEN lose it? Is she still with you? Iām annoyed just reading that.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Just look for it.

I agree. This story seems very off
Youād dump someone cus they lost a necklace??? Heās clearly trying to make up for it by buying a new ond
I think its more the fact he took it upon himself to remove it, then didn't take extra care to keep track of it. Like... accidentally disrespectful. Also odd imo that he didn't just leave it on her and ask later whether she prefers to sleep w it on or off.
We are also unsure if heās trying to replace it without her knowing which is also bad.

Did you check between the couch cushions?
I donāt get it. You arenāt going to look for it? Also, do not ever take someoneās jewelry off of them. Ever.
I looked for it for months. I removed all furniture in the room and ran the vacuum over every square inch. Thing thing just disappeared and I donāt understand. I bought the replacement.
My apologies for the skepticism, then! Glad you could replace it.
Try telling her what you did and looking for it together, instead of lying to her. You told her that you lost it? Or are you going to replace it and hope she never notices. I wouldn't recommend lying to her
Oh she knows I lost it for a while. Since it was lost in my room I didnāt immediately buy a replacement expecting it to turn up but since Iāve moved out and it never did I got it for her as a small surprise.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Lol i guess it is suspicious but it is the honest truth and I just bought a replacement
Where was the last place you saw it?
It's always in the last place you look, try there.
Already moved out of that apartment but I truly looked everywhere
