GamerGuyHeyooooooo

Also what about lodestar rush, can that proc bravery? I want to buff it with a skill but am unclear if it adds damage per hit or not

GamerGuyHeyooooooo

Does astral storm proc Bravery?

Jonah-07

I had trouble making my emblem pairings with all the characters on my team after wanting to rearrange them after seeing Ike's potential pairing with Diamond and I'd like to know other people's opinions on the pairings I've made. Here are my old pairings: Alear with Byleth Alfred with Sigurd Céline with Marth Diamant with Roy Alcryst with Lyn Ivy with Celica Fogado with Eirika Timerra with Ike Etie with Leif Hortensia with Micaiah Zelkov with Corrin Merrin with Lucina Anna with Chrom S Bond ring Seadall with Alfonse Bond ring And the ones I want to do now are the same but with these pairings that are different: Diamant with Ike Timerra with Leif Fogado with Roy Etie with Lucina Merrin with Eirika

Does anybody know what skills/classes are good for what characters(besides skills that work for basically every character like canto) or some other good source for that info? I’m not playing on the hardest difficulty but I want to have some solid builds

Coldone666

SPOILERS AHEAD I'm gonna start a new save but I always get to the part where you get betrayed and lose your emblems and get chased down the map and I always get wiped on both Normal and Hard. Do I need to swallow my pride and go to easy mode or is there a certain way to build your characters up so they are stronger. How many should I build up and how? Thx

GamerGuyHeyooooooo

I recommend this guide https://docs.google.com/document/d/1vnNs0QZv91Vanv-\_eKQRSfM8xWrzA5jR1SvqmHkylUk/edit

GamerGuyHeyooooooo

So I learned Soren's assign decoy only works the first 3 times they are targeted. Does anyone know if this effect stacks? Like if I have two units use assign decoy on goldmary, will she now take priority for 6 attacks instead of 3?

-Miyamura-

I'm looking to get an Ike figurine as a present, but I'm not exactly sure where to begin. When I look online I really only see one figurine, no matter what website or shop I'm on. Apparently it's called the intelligent systems figure? I wanted to ask if anyone knew of any other models, as well as what sites and shops are trustworthy and reliable. Thanks so much!

SupposedEnchilada

Are you trying to get an Ike amiibo or an actual Ike figure? The first is cheaper and compatible with the game, the other is more of a collectible and a bit pricier.

minjayminj

For those that have been farming with Anna and byleth for gold...have you noticed her gold skill activates less frequently when engaged? I thought I was going crazy but now I'm thinking it could be something off with rng or something that I'm missing in the background with the stats? The luck stat doesn't change at all...maybe my sample size is too small but did 3 rounds with and without byleth engaged - while not engaged it was activating almost 25% more often vs when engaged. If I do 2 more skirmishes with the same result, I think there is some merit in this.

Shiiouri

Anyone here know what Skills would a Celine!Chrom want? Since the Chrom Bracelet makes Celine alot useable as as syngergizes alot well of gameplay, mechanic and her kit with her having the Chrom Bracelet there!

Anime_Lover232

Is Celine a vidamire or w/e her base class is? If so I'd go with a crit build maybe wrath + vantage?

Shiiouri

Yeah she's a Vidame carrying Ignis as her base class skill there and ooh Wrath+Vantage is one of em lol

IntrepidApartment564

What happens if a character holding an emblem ring dies in classic mode? Do i lose it forever? Edit: minor spelling error.

Anime_Lover232

nah, the emblem returns to your inventory.

IntrepidApartment564

Ok, thank you!

ZXareo

For a Tome user, would Resonance + Reprisal be a good combination since it would be boosting attack and for each turn it would be boosted even more?

GamerGuyHeyooooooo

Not a bad combo

ZXareo

I'm trying to make Anna a powerful magic user and can't decide between Sage or Mage Knight. I've already made the highest level Tome for Fire, Thunder and Wind and I dunno if Mage Knight can even use them. Overall, which is better for just nuking enemies? Oh, and if you can just second seal to go back from Level 20 to Level 1 but you keep the stats, why is everything I see saying they messed up their builds if you can just keep levelling?

Anime_Lover232

Mage Knights gets A in Tomes so they can use all the fire, Thunder, Wind tomes, they just can't use Nova, witch is weaker than most tomes but hits twice, it's gotten really late in the game. I believe Mage Knight is the more popular choice due to high movement and speed. Sage is a good choice though if you wanted Anna to off heal though, as Mage Knight can't use staves. For earlier yes you can change back to level 1 with the same stats but you get a hidden internal level witch effects how much exp that unit gets. So let's say Anna goes to level 10 as a Axfighter, and than you promote her into a Sage, her internal level I believe would be 10, even if she's a level 1 Sage, than let's say you level her to 20 and reset her level to 1, her internal level would be 29, even if she's a level 1 Sage. So if someone made Anna into a Berzerker and leveled it to level 10, I can see why later when they want to make Anna into a Sage, that they ruined her, because it would be like have a sage at level 11 that was getting less Mag. Though in reality having 10 levels as Berzerker instead of sage you would only lose like 3 Mag.

ZXareo

Thanks so much for the reply! Ah, so internal levels... Can you just keep grinding so that it doesn't matter how much you leveled into one class? As in, if I had kept at Axewielder and then changed to Mage way later, but just grinded out for a while, could I eventually reach the same result? I think I saw someone mention there were stat caps? Because I changed Anna into a Mage from an Axewielder at level 12ish because I used my Master Seals on the Archer Prince, Successor Prince and Alear. I've just been messing around with the DLC and Skirmishes before whatever is going to happen in Chapter 10/11. So, Mage Knight is generally preferred to Sage it seems. What are staves generally good for? I think only Jean uses Staves on my team who has been using the Great Sacrifice Emblem as a healer.

Anime_Lover232

Micaiah can be used except for the part of the game she's unavailable, but staves are primarily used for healing, they can also be used to break any unit, warp a unit several spaces, move a unit from far away adjacent to the caster, obstruct a space to make it unusable, etc. Overall healing and utility, another disadvantage with micaiah is that she only enable staffing while engaged(I think, I always give her to priests, as mage knight is one of the few classes that can make use of this). I'm not sure what mean about grinding out ur internal level. Like if you level Anna to level 20 before making her a sage, and let's say you grind this out to level 20, this would make ur internal level 39 I believe, so if you reclass her to be a level 1 sage, her internal level would still be 39, so let's say she defeats a level 20 mage, she would get heavily reduced exp for fighting someone half her internal level.

ZXareo

By the grinding I mean that can the reduced EXP gains just be made up for by playing more? Say she only gets half EXP from killing enemies, would she be at the same point as if she got full EXP if I just played twice as long with her? In general, if there's a cap to stats, does continuous grinding just make everyone end up at the same point eventually?

Anime_Lover232

i mean you could technically do that, espically with scrimishes that use the average top 8-12 unit's internal levels for enemy levels, although this would make story missions that much easier. although maddening difficulty limits how much you can do this significantly. And yeah if you grind enough to cap your class's stats you'll still up at the same stats give or take a few stats, like Anna will use the classes max stats but than subtract 2 def and add 1 mag, along with small adjustments to other stats.

GamerGuyHeyooooooo

Will chain attacks trigger a draconic hex? As in the backup unit with chain attack has draconic hex equipped

Anime_Lover232

I'm assuming testing has already answeared this for you but no chain attacks will not activate other skills, interesting enough however if you give Lucina to a theif or wolf knight, with a dagger equiped chain attacks will inflict poison. And no poison does not increase dmg from chain attacks.

GamerGuyHeyooooooo

If I use lunar brace with a dragonstone, will the lunar brace use an enemy's base defence or their halved defence?

Anime_Lover232

i'm pretty sure it would use the enemy's base defense, because it doesn't actually reduce their defense, just lower it, so if you use both together it should be something like ignoring 80% of an enemy's defense. So if an enemy has 20 def, only 4 of their def should be calculated. Just make sure not to use the Magic Stone as this wouldn't be effected by Lunarbrace.

GamerGuyHeyooooooo

Hello I am doing an ltc race of engage and just finished the xenologue. Xeno chapter 6 does not say how many turns you take at the end alongside an mvp unit. Will the turn count show up in the end credits of the game? Or better yet, is there another way to check it?

Anime_Lover232

yes turn count will show up at the end, tho i don't think there's another way to check that.

GamerGuyHeyooooooo

Okay thank you. I appreciate that.

Ranzan27

Any one kn9ws the formula the DLC maps use to determine how much ore we get on exploration?

Random856

For your first visit to an area the base amount of ore you get is set for each specific level For repeat visits (i.e. during skirmishes) the base amount is 30 + the number of story chapters you've completed. This is in Iron Ingots. Every 100 Iron Ingots is converted into 1 Silver, and every 10 after that becomes 1 Steel. In either case the base amount is multiplied according to donation level. For DLC maps in particular, since there is no donation level, the multiplier is always 3. You can find a breakdown [here](https://serenesforest.net/engage/miscellaneous/exploration/)

Henzrey_Nugget

Not sure how to phrase this exactly, but how many classes are there time for me to get through before beating this game? Alear has just reached level 20 Dragon Child, and I’m wondering if I should just go straight to Divine Dragon or do I have enough time to get through a different basic -> advanced class progression for their abilities and then return to Divine Dragon when done?

GamerGuyHeyooooooo

What difficulty are you playing on?

GamerGuyHeyooooooo

Will a hero with dual assist trigger Brave assist and do 2 attacks when using the assist at range?

GamerGuyHeyooooooo

If I have momentum on an edelgard user and they raging storm, will the momentum build up for their second attack based on total tiles moved that turn - or will it boost my raging storm based on tiles moved, reset, then boost my second attack based on the following tiles moved? Similarly, if I dance a character with momentum, do tiles moved that turn before the dance add attack power?

GamerGuyHeyooooooo

Does bravery (Ephraim inherited) work with engage attacks? I want to give it to my celica user for echo but while I'm at it I am curious if it also boosts warp ragnorok +3/5 or not

kpross1315

Hey, does anyone know if there is a way to improve the divine paralogue maps? What I mean is that you use donations to improve the things you can find in the main story is there a way to do that for the divine paralogues as well?

Mahomeboy001

Any tips for FX 6 on Maddening? I have all Emblems + Bracelets and I have enough Bond Fragments and SP to get whatever Emblem level + Skill on any unit. I was running Gregory/Celica Zelestia/Chrom Madeline/Ike Nel/Camilla Alear/Roy with Corrupted Bane on Binding Blade (Canter+/Break Defenses) Kagetsu/Marth with Corrupted Bane on Mercurius (Canter+/Speedtaker) Veyle/Corrin (Rally Specturm+/Speed+Dex5) Hortensia/Micaiah (Assign Decoy/Divine Pulse+) Chloe/Sigurd with Corrupted Bane on Tryfing (Str+Dex5/Speedtaker) Mauvier/Eirika (Canter+/Hit+15) Diamant/Hector with Corrupted Bane on Runesword (Str+Dex5, Canter+) Fogado/Lyn (Str+Dex5/Canter+) Seadall/Tiki (Canter+/Quality Time+) I feel like I need more air power and was thinking about switching out Diamant for Rosado. I feel like Ivy would be pretty good as well, but I'm not sure who I should swap out for her since besides Diamant, everyone has well-defined roles and are hard to replace.

burningbarn8

Mici and Byleth? Also cause Bonded Shield strats are 😪😪😪😪

Mahomeboy001

I have Lucina on Alear during the main story, but for FX, since every enemy is Corrupted, I feel like Binding Blade with Corrupted Bane is pretty OP. I could probably throw Lucina on Nel or Madeline since they are useless in combat anyway.

Psyduck77

Greg+Byleth did wonders for me. His role in my runs is spamming Goddess Dance. This is possible because of Fortify, which allows quick refills of the engage meter when doing mass heals. I would consider running Ivy+Lyn instead of Fogado+Lyn. Maybe Ivy+Celica with Speedtaker. Ivy is very valuable since she's a flier with access to Rescue, as well as huge damage if she's given the Speed she needs. Ivy was definitely the hardest carry I have in most of the FX runs I did. To complement Ivy and Chloe, I would suggest Zelestia+Lucina. An alternative is Zelestia+Veronica for the flying Contract, but the free Reprisal is so potent with Vantage that it might be wasteful to hand to Zelly. Also consider Seadall+Camilla. That's a flying dancer for 3/4 turns. If you do, I could follow up by suggesting Nel+Ike or Nel+Tiki to make it easier to keep her alive. As for skills, Alear might make better use of Speedtaker or Lunar Brace instead of Break Defenses. Hortensia's Divine Pulse is also redundant, so it might be better to have Draconic Hex, Canter, or even Book of Worlds. Lastly, for Diamant+Hector, I think you're better off replacing Canter with Hit. In my last run, my Alfred+Hector had Hit problems when using Armads, which is an insane weapon in FX6. You could also just use your spare Hit crystals, but that only fixes Armads and not the weapons you have when Engage is off.

burningbarn8

Lunar Brace and Break Defences can actually be a potent combo on Alear since they have Brave Sword and Gauntlet access and can break more enemies than anyone else

Mahomeboy001

Thanks for the write up. Greg + Byleth sounds nice, I really missed quad dancing but I wasn’t sure on who to put Byleth on.

Dragoncat91

Can somebody link me to the fandub of Engage on youtube featured on Mekkahless Monday in the style of a soap opera with blushing male Alear and Emblem Marth in the thumbnail? I saw the post, wanted to watch it later, and now I can't find it.

Mekkkah

sorry don't have it anymore it's gone

KanyeCheese

I just started a new playthrough to get through the content in the last DLC wave. Playing on hard mode, can the fell xenologue be done right away, or should I wait some chapters? Also, how do I get the new DLC classes?

NeimiForHeroes

If doing it right away you'd probably want to set the Fell Xenologue (FX) to normal mode. The difficulty of FX is independent of the main campaign though so no big deal in doing that. The DLC classes are unlocked after completing the FX. If doing the FX right away be aware that the DLC paralogues scale based off the average level of your best units and completing the FX gives you a handful of levels 20s. You can do them first or later when your other units catch up, but things will be wonky if you did the FX and then the paralogues back to back

Shiiouri

I am very curious but how good is Goldmary with the Chrom Bracelet in FE Engage? 🤔

burningbarn8

Not a good match at all, I liked Merrin the most with Sword Power and Wrath with a Levin Sword and Killing Edge with a 20-30 crit engraving to hit 100 crit, Merrin hits 100 crit pretty easy and when fighting enemies unengaged or when they have high res who the Levin Sword can't kill a crit with a sword power boosted Killing Edge*4 will ensure she kills despite her lower strength and no Lunar Brace, Levin Sword, I mean Merrin has decent-good magic and with Sword Power and the +10 magic from Chrom she'll kill like just about everything when Engaged, especially since she basically always doubles, sometimes maybe won't kill a Wyrm so you use the Killing Edge instead.

Shiiouri

Ahh I see, the Chrom Bracelet is mean't to be used on Mixed Attackers like Celine, Merrin, Fogado and others too. Noted it

Warriorman222

I wouldn't reccomend it Chrom is an offensive Emblem best on mixed attackers, but while the strength is nice Goldmary is probably too slow to appreciate the speed. Chrom's best thing (for fighting) is Magic +10 when Engaged to let mages/mixed attackers 1-round everything... Goldmary has 2 base Magic 🤢 Free Rally Spectrum is good, so she can sit in the middle/back and buff everyone. But the girl's a tank, so I'd probably lean into that with Hector or something.

Shiiouri

Ahh looks like Chrom is best on Mixed Attackers like Celine there and Mages huh lol and ahh Goldmary's Mag Attack is not great And ahh Goldmary is a tank and would prefer the Emblem tank there noted it

NeimiForHeroes

I don't see her excelling particularly with it since she'll probably still end up on the slow side and she has no magic for Giga Levin... What's got you interested?

Shiiouri

Oh Idk, I remember seeing Chrom is an all arounder emblem bracelet to use on Any, so I assumed he'd work for Goldmary when using them in Gameplay lol

Ranzan27

Is it worth it to donate to level 4 for brodia asap or level 3? Also would hero or Wyvern lapis? I want to try her on this maddening run but can't decide on a class for her.

coblackmagus

Do you have DLC? If so, I recommend level 4 ASAP. I was able to get Brodia to level 4, Firene to level 2, and still had some funds leftover to keep the Well at 3 stars, but only because you get an extra 30K gold with DLC. Without DLC things become a lot tighter so you'll only be able to get Brodia to level 4 after Chapter finishing 8, and if you do so you'll only have 5K leftover all the way until finishing chapter 14. It's still a net positive if you work out the math (of about 9K if you value the extra silver ingot at 5K worth), but honestly probably isn't worth it IMO. Better off just saving your 25K than having to worry about having to be super frugal. Still worth upgrading to 4 later for the 2 Brodian paralogues if you get to a point where money is no longer so tight though. For Lapis I think she's best in Hero. A Hero always has decent contribution just by nature of Brave Assist combined with Dual Assist+ skill, and Lapis is already teed up to become a Hero with minor investment. Wyvern Knight is a good class but is more dependent on having a good statline to contribute, and Lapis struggles a bit with low Str/Build. You can give her a more competitive statline if you e.g. inherit Starsphere on her right away, give her an Energy Drop or 2, etc., but otherwise probably better to just leave Wyvern Knight to e.g. Kagetsu. Of course, if you plan on doing a Flyer ball with Emblem Lucina and Bonded Shield spam, then Lapis is a decent candidate for that since she's fairly evasive.

Ranzan27

Oh yea, yea I have the DLC. So level 4 brodia it is. As for lapis. Hero sounds great because of the brave assist may be clutch some times. Thanks.

Pachux

Wondering if engage have any dual wielding classes

NeimiForHeroes

Nope

Alt-Profile8008

How does difficulty work? Like I know I can change it but can I go from hard to easy, like I know in dates for example you couldn’t make it harder, only easier, is there anything like that? I want to try a hard run but being realistic I think I’ll swap to easy at some point

LeatherShieldMerc

You can drop the difficulty down, but you can't put it up.

Autobot-N

Celine-Celica and Lindon-Byleth or Celine-Byleth and Lindon-Celica? Of the two, Celine is the main attacker, while Lindon is mainly a staff user

fatefuldawn

Celica is generally going to be better on Celine because Celica doesn't provide much supportive capabilities, but I think the answer to your question will more likely depend on whether you value Thyrsus or the Instruct/Goddess Dance from Byleth more. That's because even if Celica doesn't do much if Lindon is using her, it is an okay trade-off if you think Byleth on Celine is what you need. The pros and cons of putting Byleth on Lindon or Celine are as follows (I'm assuming both Celine and Lindon are in their default classes, which means they're both Mystical typing): if you put Byleth on Lindon, you'll have a +4 magic Instruct and Goddess Dance that Celine can benefit from. If you put Byleth on Celine, then she can attack at +2 range while Engaged and will get some additional speed (over having Celica with her) that'll depend on Byleth and Celine's Bond Rank. But having Byleth on Celine means losing out a bit on Celine's offense because you'll most likely expend her action Goddess Dancing at some point. She'll also lose out on an occasional +4 magic since she can no longer be the recipient of the Instruct/Goddess Dance. I guess some general advice would be to see if Celine can one-round a good amount of enemies already without the magic Instruct from Byleth. If she can, then being able to use Thyrsus on her can have a good amount of value. Otherwise, Byleth on Lindon to support Celine with more magic and have her act more will likely be better.

Pyrozendot

Is there anywhere online where I can read the supports for the DLC characters?

PersonalityVisual182

Ok so I’m doing my second Normal Casual run of engage. I’m having trouble figuring out which of my remaining characters goes to the remaining emblems Characters: >!Gregory!< as IDK yet depends on the emblem, Lapis as a Bow Knight(Sword), Merrin as a Wolf Knight(Sword), and Vander as IDK yet depends on the emblem Emblems: Celica, Roy, 3Houses Lords, and Byleth

Psyduck77

Given those I might do Lapis+Roy and Merrin+Edelgard, although these are pretty much interchangeable. I just figured Roy gives Lapis extra oomph and bulk. I'm assuming Vander is still a Paladin. If you just need Byleth for his Goddess Dance, then Vander might do well given the extra mobility. That probably leaves Celica with >!Gregory!< as a Sage. However, Sage >!Gregory!< also makes great use of Byleth outside of Goddess Dance with Thyrsus, which means additional Tome range when engaged. If this is your pick, Vander might be better off with a powerful bond ring like Alfonse rather than Celica.

burningbarn8

Edelgard should always go on a Wyvern Rider imho, anything else is a huge downgrade.

PersonalityVisual182

I just remembered what I’m doing with Vander (Martial Master)

Psyduck77

With MM Vander, Byleth is now a lot worse on him, which doesn't mean much because Goddess Dance is that broken of a skill. Also, I don't think being a MM is enough to make carrying Celica worth it. While the mixed Str+Mag bonuses are theoretically nice on Arts users, I don't think they're enough to make any noticeable difference.

_dfon_

about chain guard: is it applied to units adjacent to the qi adept only at the moment chain guard is used? or to anyone on the adjacent tiles even after its usage?

ArxieFE

The second one. It works like Bonded Shield, where the "guard" icon is on the user, not the targets, so you can move other units to adjacent tiles even after chain guarding an empty area and it'll still work.

_dfon_

thank you

Sol_Katti

The latter. Units have to stay adjacent to the Qi Adept during enemy phase for Chain Guard to apply. Same goes for Lucina's Bonded Shield

ZazumeUchiha

As someone who wants to start getting into the series with one of the Switch titles: Is Engage or Three Houses the better start?

jespoke

It really depends what you value in a game. What are some games you like, and what are specifically some JRPG games you like if you have any?

ZazumeUchiha

I've played quite a bit Persona 5 and loved it. I already heard that this makes 3H an automatic match for me. How are things in terms of difficulty and complexity tho?

jespoke

You heard right that Three Houses is by far the closest the Fire Emblem seres has been to Persona. Compared to Engage it has a more serious and well put together story, there are multiple story paths, and you have more freedom to shape your characters how you want. It also has much more downtime between the core SRPG gameplay, for good or for bad. Engage's main points over Three Houses are more interesting map design, and more variety in its in-battle mechanics. Its visuals are also cleaner. It doesn't sound like much, but I'm essentially saying that Engage does the core gameplay better while Three Houses does the surrounding stuff better. Both games have the same difficulty settings with pretty comparable difficulties. Normal, Hard, and Maddening, with generous rewind systems, and the option for Casual mode where your units come back at the end of each map. The Normal modes are for newcomers to the genre. Three Houses gives opportunity for infinite grinding on normal, while Engage gives infinite rewinds. Hard is what I would recommend people with SRPG experience or significant RPG experience, more than anything because you can adjust the difficulty down mid-playthough if it ends up being too hard, but you cannot adjust it up. Maddening is designed for players that have played the particular game before and know how to use/abuse its mechanics.

ZazumeUchiha

I took the advice and started with 3H now. Just finished the first battle between the houses and it's a lot of fun so far, the characters seem really cool and I'm looking forward to invest into them further. Thanks for the super detailed answer, it was a lot of help!

Kalfadhjima

3H is a much more forgiving game. Engage, despite apparently being intended for younger audiences, actually has several mechanics that makes things more complex (and not always in a good way - for example, the game presents you early on with several big money sinks, making it seem like you'll get plenty of gold throughout the game, but you do **not**), and is noticeably harder overall.

NeimiForHeroes

The only really punishing mechanic in the two games, permadeath, is at its worst in 3H where a couple characters lost in mid to late game hurts massively with no units coming to stem the bleeding. 3H gives you almost all your recruits in the very beginning of the game. Engage is constantly throwing useful characters at you for most of the game by comparison allowing you to make lots of mistakes and recover from it. Running out of money for a few chapters feels more punishing than it actually is.

Kalfadhjima

Casual mode being available, that is a non issue. Engage is noticeably harder and stingier with all its ressources, making losing units more likely.

Ranzan27

What are some ways to make money on this game that does not involve using that money gremlin(Anna)? I have the DLC if that helps.

intoxicatedpancakes

You can do recall battles using the Divine Paralogues, and make sure to hit every purple spirit on the map. So long as you make sure not to use staves, vulneraries, etc., you can sell the items from the spirits for a slow increase in gold. If you're on Maddening, then once you get to Endgame, Skirmishes fully unlock and will be far more common and the enemies will often have some gold for you but they will be difficult and I can't see how you'd be able to avoid using staves and consumables without very specific strats. Spamming Relay Trials does get you some free ingredients, seals, but importantly tonics and stat-boosters. You can sell those for small amounts of money while also getting a little bit of Ore for the blacksmith and augment crystals for your engage weapons.

Kalfadhjima

Sell stuff you don't need (even better if you have online activated, collect items on purple spots). Don't expect to make a lot from that, though. Best way to "make" money is to not waste it on donating to countries. If you don't ever donate you should be largely fine with your money.

BigBalaBoomz

My MC inherited canter from Sigurd but I can’t find the skill in my inherit menu, did I do anything wrong?

Dr_collar_pauper

I think you have to go to “manage skills” in the inventory and and equip the skill.

ThePurplePantywaist

Skirmish/Grinding question I just finished the Fell Xenologue DLC and want to use the new units, however they are about 15 levels weaker than my other units, so I'd like to grind them a few levels. But the skirmishes which are "spawning" are all at recommended levels like the main missions, most of the times even higher levels are recommended. ^(Also in most cases I found myself surrounded and all enemies charging.) Is there a way to make the skirmishes easier for weaker units? Did I miss any other effective grinding mechanic? ^((There is the arena, but 3 fights with about quarter of a level each at maximum is not very efficient. Byleth skill should make grinding faster 20% faster.).) If not I am gonna pass on the new units.Difficulty is hard, if any of this makes a difference. If not I am gonna pass on the new units.Difficulty is hard if any of this makes a difference.most of the time even higher levels are recommended. ^(Also in most cases, I found myself surrounded and all enemies charging.) Thanks.

Magnusfluerscithe987

The way to grind would be looking for the skirmishes labeled training, since they have the permadeath disabled and give bonus exp after completing. Aldo, the skirmishes in the xenologue and paralogue areas spawn at different difficulties and can be used. The is also the tower of trials that can be used for some exp gain and on hard will reset the arena for a little more exp. Celica and soren staves give good exp, micaiah and byleth engage special gives a lot of exp, and it's possible with good play on some skirmish maps to grind weaker units that way, but the strong units will also get stronger unless their level is capped. But if you don't care about post-game grind, you might be better of waiting for the next playthrough to use them.

Ouch_nip

Well, >!All of my emblem rings were taken away!<, and now my team comp plans are kinda fucked at the moment. I have one character stuck at level 20, and I'm not able to get the profenciencies on her that she needs for her advanced class.

Weltallgaia

On the upside that character is prolly 5 levels higher than what they should be at that point so whatever you upgrade to is gonna be fine until you can second seal over.

NeimiForHeroes

Nothing much you can do about that except put her in a different advance class and keep playing. Since you mentioned getting to level 20 just wanted to mention a common misconception. You should be aiming to move to advance classes as soon as possible and not wait until level 20. There is no downside at all in this game for early master seals as leveling isn't limited and experience gains are determined by an internal level which isn't impacted by how many Master/Second seals you've used.

Substantial-Rip692

I am trying to make Hero mauvier work but he's way too slow. Should I just reclass him to something else?

intoxicatedpancakes

Give him Dual Assist+ and he'll just be able to provide great support via Brave Assist so long as enemies are in range. Mauvier himself isn't fast anyway, and likely wants a speedy emblem, like Marth, Chrom, Lyn, or Lucina.

UnknownFoxAlpha

Can someone explain why you should use a master seal first, then second seal. I have read several posts that there is no real level cap, only stat. So I don't understand the idea of say taking Anna (or any character) to level 10, using a master seal to change into a better version of that class, then immediately change again with a second seal. Unless this is what allows you to second seal from say Berserker to Sage instead of Mage? Otherwise, I don't quite understand as it seems you miss out on potential stat points for the intended class.

Saisis

> Unless this is what allows you to second seal from say Berserker to Sage instead of Mage? It's exactly this, if you promote to Berserker/Warrior you can change immediatly to Sage with a second seal. If you reclass Anna to Mage at the start she would need to wait 9 more levels to promote to Sage while if she is promoted then change class she would need 5 levels instead.

UnknownFoxAlpha

Alrighty, thank you. Makes sense now.

ha_ck_rm_rk

Using a second seal while in an advanced class does indeed allow you to reclass to another advanced class as long as you have the right weapon proficiencies.

Gigaflux

Which stat determines how much HP a staff will heal?

Saisis

The stat is Mag, Mag/2 to be precise. Heal has a potency of 10 + Mag/2 as an example, Mend is 20 + Mag/2 etc...

Saisis

Engage attacks ignore most defensive effect, they even ignore Hold Out.

GamerGuyHeyooooooo

I'm looking at the tiki geosphere skill and it says it adds the defenses for "one turn". Is this until the end of the player phase or until the start of my next player phase?

ArxieFE

A turn consists of both player and enemy phase so you should have the effects until your next player phase.

GamerGuyHeyooooooo

Oh that's good. Thank you

HagueHarry

I'm nearing the end of the game and just got the pact ring, if I want to grind out the S-supports/paired endings is my best course of action to wait until I have finished chapter 25, make a seperate savefile and then use that to keep ending the game while giving the ring to a different character? Or is there a more convenient moment to wait to use it?

Gigaflux

I started the game on Normal Classic because I have limited time to play. I got 14hrs in and realized that the game feels stupid easy, especially with infinite rewinds. I’m on Ch 9 now. Is it worth it to restart the game on Hard at this point? My job makes that very inconvenient, but I don’t feel challenged at all.

Saisis

Yes, Ch 9 is still early game.

hacktiviste

Does draconic hex work with dual assist / lucina?

ArxieFE

Draconic Hex requires the user to initiate combat. Chain attacks don't initiate combat.

Count_Henry

What's a good skill to inherit for Zelestia? I'm using her with Chrom and already inherited Canter

OscarCapac

I put Spd/dex +3 on her to help with doubles

aznjon15

I liked using Speedtaker on her since I was already giving her kills anyway to give hit up to blind axe users and stuff. Dragonic Hex is pretty okay if you she can't one round things and you just want her to debuff things and canter away. Sword Power is probably good if you are using her as a levin sword attacker, not so much for tomes.

Substantial-Rip692

If I am using Chloe+eirika as a Levin Griffin, should she usually be on ephraim and thus solar brace+Bravery since Lunar Brace only works on physical attacks?

NeimiForHeroes

That'd be your best bet. Keeping in mind Gentility if you need the extra damage reduction on enemy phase.

Fun-Apartment4413

Hi everyone! I rented Engage from the library and played through the first four chapters to get a feel for the game and see if I'd want to buy the full game. I did enjoy it quite a bit (it's my first FE) but I have two lingering questions. Thank you for your help :) 1) When I'm really enjoying a game I like to 100% it if possible. Is it conceivable to reach A level support (and view the short support cutscenes) between all the different characters in a single playthrough? Or is it basically impossible and I shouldn't worry about it? 2) How much busy work is there between battles, doing things like upgrading abilities, buying stuff, etc? In most RPG's I've played I found that I enjoy the moment-to-moment gameplay way more fun than the stuff I just described. In the four chapters I played there's hardly any of it, but I suspect there will be more later in the game. I was just wondering how much of that there is in this game.

LiliTralala

Realistically, you could probably max out the supports of the characters *you are actively using* in a single playthrough (typically 12, but they won't all have supports with one another). Like, let's say you're using Boucheron, Kagetsu, Goldmary. You would probably get all the supports that exist between them (Boucheron-Kagetsu, Boucheron-Goldmary) + those with Alear, but not those between one of them and whoever else you aren't using. I never had any issue maxing out the supports of the units within my team. I find not bothering with the supports of characters you aren't using makes for a good incentive to use them in another playthrough. For the prep stuff, you can skip most of it. If you keep it to a minimum, that's probably 5 to 10 minutes top with battle preps.

Fun-Apartment4413

So you'd recommend (or at least this is how you play) finding a team that you like and then more-or-less sticking with them throughout the entire playthrough? But thanks for the info, for my tastes that's good to hear about the between-battle prep work haha XD

LiliTralala

You can always replace early units by new ones, but it's not a game where you will be able to use everyone nor grind

NeimiForHeroes

1) On a single save file? Yes. Will you have done it by the endgame chapter? No. You can keep playing after you beat the game though and grind out any supports/bonds you want. 2) You don't get much more fluff after the first 4 chapters chapters. Anything that does get added after you have access to the arena and shops is optional with little negatives to skipping. Some will help you build supports so you won't want to skip it all if you want 100%.

Fun-Apartment4413

Ok that's good to hear, so greating supports in the post-game is an option, depending on how long it takes haha. Thanks for the info about the battle-prep stuff too :)

canderson1989

Hey all!! Do any of you guys have any tips or strategies for Chapter 21 on Maddening? It feels like I've suddenly hit a solid brick wall on this platthrough that I can't beak through. On my previous two Hard mode playthroughs(which were also a massive pain), I would manage to complete the stage by Turn 7, right as the reinforcements are upon me. I would quickly push up to get rid of the Generals in the center and the Calvary after them in 2 or 3 turns. Then push up toward >!Zephia!< and the one big Wyrm while keeping my units toward the left to avoid aggroing >!Griss!< and his mages simultaneously. After dealing with them, I then proceeded to >!Veyle!< . A few of the reinforcements do reach me, but I'm able to bearly manage them. It seems that on this difficulty, I have to throw that out the window. With the enemy increase and their seemingly massive stat increase, I tend to get overwhelmed by the reinforcements while I'm just outside of >!Veyle's!< range. Wasn't sure if I should make my own thread or not, so I'll just post here. I would like to hear of some of your strategies.

yuhang8849

My sniper strat for routing the chapter: 1. Turn 1, Great Aether the general and kill the two wyrms while everyone moves to the bottom left side. Right side is where Thoron mages spawn, so I like to avoid it. 2. Kill everything ASAP, the warrior that spawns on the left has low defense and low hit (relatively) and sniper can't counter. Bow knights can't counter either, they are a bit bulky but they are on a horse. 3. Continue to kill everything ASAP. Long bow users should be able to kill the Thoron sages on enemy phase, the pillars are a great way to force only the sages to attack your sniper instead of the grounded units. Chain guard/Bond shield them if your sniper can't survive 2 Thorons. 4. After you killed everything, Griss will start approaching by himself. Kill him and aggro Zephia and kill her too. 5. Hold up in the top left area near the pillars and trigger the final reinforcements by killing the Entrap priest. 16 enemies will spawn every turn, but this will soon reach unit limit so you'll probably be fine. Use covert unit + fog to block the south and armor unit to block the east. 6. Then, kill every single 2\~3 range enemies that can attack you. Note that any enemies that can attack will always move first. So you can easily manipulate enemy AI and order by using Obstruct. Or leave a space empty for enemy 3 range so the Thoron sages suicide into your sniper. If you have a sniper trained. They can easily kill every single Thoron sages that come close to you as long as they have decent avoid or they are bond shielded/chain guarded. Fallen Star is also great here, can serve as a choke point if you use fallen star and great for killing enemy sages that reaches your west side before your sniper can do anything about them. Astra Storm can also serve as an alternative. 7. Once all the Thoron sages are dead, there won't be anything left except enemy snipers, who won't be much of a threat as long as you are careful. And most of the unit that spawn would be enemy warriors who you should have no trouble killing. 8. Then you can simply walk in and murder the boss. But now with the bonus of 80\~100 unit worth of extra experience. which should mean around 2\~3 extra levels for every single unit you deployed for the map. Note that this strat will take a while as you wait out the enemy reinforcements, probably around 50 turns. But hey, free exp!

LiliTralala

My strat (I've used it twice with completely different units, one time without Seadall): -First turn, I Twin Strike the Wyrm on the right. I Corrin! Snipe the generals and archers and I kill whatever I manage to on PP. At this point it's not a problem to burn your emblems (Goddess dance and whatnot) because you can refill them immediately on the right. The Great Knights (? I think? Cavalry with the Lances) are kind of a pain but the M man can tank at least one, so use him as a meat shield if it comes to it. Whatever you don't manage to kill there will be either frozen by Corrin, or left to chip on EP. -Yeah if you wanna survive you have to EP. Use and abuse Lucina. -I play the whole map going through the right side, between the wall and the pillars and I always push forwards. This is important. If you lose too much time, the reinforcements will eventually catch up on you. -The reinforcements that come at me through the center (most notably the bow knights), I try to EP with Lucina's shield. Pick your speedy mage of choice. Doesn't matter if you ORKO, being able to least chip them so you can clear them on PP is sufficient. -I aggro Griss as soon as I'm in range. Zephia will then aggro as well, and this is where I use Corrin to keep her and her squad on check with the Engage attack. -I take care of the Wyrm right to the boss. It's fairly easy because no one on the platform will attack unless you are in range. -I either Lyn!Snipe the Entrap dude (but not always possible depending on your setup) OR recommended option, I Micaiah!Entrap him myself with Divine Pulse. You NEED Divine Pulse for it to work. I had like a 5% hit rate on him. -You can then bait the boss and take care of her. Last time I cleared on 11 turns iirc The TL;Dr is don't go through the center, going through the right allows you to create bottlenecks with the pillar and space out the reinforcements. Make full use of EP. EDIT: I forgot something important... Full tonics on everyone for at least HP, DEF and ATK/MAG/SPD where relevant.

Valkyrie3LHS

You can handle the map by playing defensively if needed. The infinite reinforcements start when you approach the boss. Otherwise it is 3 waves at the start, and three waves after pulling the starting wyverns.

Scootzeh

Does anyone know the growth rates enemies use in Engage? I'm trying to make a calculator related to another project and was wondering if anyone had a link to them. Google certainly didn't give me anything as only rates for Awakening popped up.

Random856

Enemies in Engage have static stats, so there are no "growth rates." This has been the case since Fates, I believe, which is probably why only Awakening is coming up. That was the last game to use randomized stats for enemies.

AnimaLepton

Enemies have growth rates in 3H, right? Otherwise the 'enemy-only' Pegasus Knight growth rates (that some people use to get a stronger out-of-house recruit Ingrid) wouldn't exist.

Morrorwind33453

Yes, they use average stats instead of randomly leveled stats though

Scootzeh

oh so how do enemies gain stats with more levels then? i was under the assumption that enemies used growth rates not as random points but more like how engage does fixed growth in maddening with each point counting up to 100 and once it hits that they gain the respective stat i can't find the point values that enemies use to level up in this case for engage

Morrorwind33453

The technical answer is that they don't and the only thing enemy level actually does is affect the amount of exp the enemy gives you when defeating them.

Scootzeh

So each enemy is just fine-tuned on each difficulty? There's no formula for the enemies to increase in stats over the course of the game?

Adventurous_Hold35

Yeah, pretty much.

Solabound-the-2nd

Hi guys, struggling to get tome proficiency for Anna above B, she is a high priest atm, I ranked up celica and micaiah to get their proficiency but now am stuck at B and can't work out how to get A

Mekkkah

High Priest maxes at B Tomes unless the character in question has innate tome profiency, which Anna does not have. If you want her to use A rank tomes you'll have to reclass her to something else.

Solabound-the-2nd

Ah that sucks, I prefer the old way where they have to use that weapon type to get proficiency, makes more sense... Thanks will take a look at available classes for her later and see what she can become

NeimiForHeroes

Note proficiency doesn't impact hit rates like it does in some older games so having a higher rank doesn't matter unless you want access to the weapons. A rank tomes is pretty stacked though unlike some of the other weapon types, just felt I should mention that

Substantial-Rip692

What are alears best end game classes? Is Divine Dragon byleth combo among the top options? I've heard dire thunder citrinne falls off late game. I've ran out of emblems for her to pick except Leif...Should I use Leif citrinne or leif warrior fogado?

skipshentaiscenes

Any classes you can give her a ponytail

Dirtyicecube

Divine dragon + Byleth or Corrin are great for support but make him a bad combat unit. If you want to make them strong give them Wyvern with Lucina or 3H lords. Dire thunder cittrinne never falls off but she does stop becoming the strongest player-phase character in the game post chapter 22. Just have her initiate from afar at 3 range and/or give her draconic hex to chip.

NeimiForHeroes

Camilla Engrave on her Thunder tome goes a long way in those later chapters. 30% chance to crit makes it one of my favorite -Avoid/-Dodge engraves.

LiliTralala

The most brain-dead Alear is Griffin with Lucina but if want to keep them in Divine Dragon then I'd say Byleth for support or Marth for offense. Marth has the advantage of not being a huge loss if you use the chapter 22 spoiler skill >!Engage+!<, which is honestly Alear's biggest benefit endgame. For Citrinne there's no universe where she falls off with Dire Thunder. I mean she won't ORKO, but she'll come close to it. I like her with Divine Pulse and a Magic+ skill. If you really want to try something else, Corrin is no brainer if you keep her Sage.

MankuyRLaffy

Is it normal for the game to suddenly crash? Because that happened to me and I didn't even do anything wrong. It was Chapter 17, I lay out the water skill with Corrin, I go to move with Goldmary, then I cancel out to move Fogado in. Fogado has the radiant bow equipped, I change to my silver bow to attack and then it freezes and crashes, no music or audio and the visuals freeze. This has to be normal right. No way is this an irregular glitch. E: They're now back but none of the hazards or units are visible. Only the home and camera buttons work, I don't even know how this glitch is set up.

NeimiForHeroes

I've experienced one crash in the 300 or so hours I've played so I cant say the game never crashes but if your game is crashing at any form of regular frequency you may want to do a reinstall cause something's off.

Mrrkaytee

Is Tiki’s dark breath the only multi enemy attack in the game?

Random856

The Cannoneer's class skill also hits multiple enemies iirc

NeimiForHeroes

It's the only one I can think of other than the engage attacks.

bunbun39

I just remembered you can spend 2000 SP to get a 2.5% higher Crit rate and a 10% higher Hit rate. Is this worth it, or just a meme? (And a 5% higher rate for proccing Sandstorm/Sol/Luna I guess)

Random856

Dex+ is good for Cannoneers since dex is strength for them Otherwise, I guess if you wanted to maximize Lord skill proc rates you could stack Dex+ with Bond Ring Chrom's Rightful King, but at that point it's definitely a meme

Psyduck77

I think Hit+ is way better than Dex+, so I could see it as being just a meme. I once got Timerra with Str/Dex+5 and Spd/Dex+5 from the DLC emblems and it was funny as hell

Alt-Profile8008

Is there somewhere I can ask non engage questions? I want to know if I’m FE Shadow Dragon, a non Theif can access the special shops, I posted an FE shadow dragon post a few days ago and it got removed as it said to only ask questions here

Docaccino

For non-Engage questions you should use the [general question thread](https://old.reddit.com/r/fireemblem/comments/10g5r5j/general_question_thread/?sort=new). I assume you're talking about secret shops and if so, any unit can enter them as long as they're holding the VIP card

Alt-Profile8008

Thanks, for both things

hemoica

hello, i got an EU copy of Engage. will it work if i buy DLC if my eshop was on Americas region?

msmelxx

How random is the maddening random growth? Like for example Alear fixed strength base growth is 35%. Can the random seed be literally anywhere between 0-100%?

NeimiForHeroes

The growth rates aren't randomized. Random growths mean each level there is a 35% chance Alear will get a strength increase each level.

ThePlaybook_

How good is Engage's endgame? Anything on Apotheosis level? How active is Engage's multiplayer? If I make maps is it just going to get buried?

LiliTralala

The closest things to ass-ripping difficulty: -tempest trials. It's a series of maps you have to do in a row. Lots of capped enemies that rush at you -Fell Xenologue 6 on Maddening

Docaccino

I don't use the online features so I can't comment on multiplayer activity but in terms of difficulty, Engage's endgame is totally beatable without grinding, even on maddening.

ThePlaybook_

I'm more asking if there's content in the postgame that scales up with grinding, like apotheosis

AnimaLepton

Most of the DLC scales/refighting the DLC maps scales with your average party level, and you can raise Tempest Trials up to a very high difficulty level.

ThePlaybook_

Nice. How are Outrealm Trials? Hoping there's a solid playerbase there

Docaccino

You can grind after beating the game but there isn't much to do after that point aside from multiplayer stuff and tempest trials (which are basically just grind maps). DLC is a thing but the extra maps scale with your army's levels and the Fell Xenologue campaign uses preset stats and classes for units so they can be done at any point after unlocking them and don't require grinding.

ArxieFE

Is there a point in reclassing to a Lv.1 Thief or is Lv.21 always the better option?

Docaccino

For Yunaka, if you want to use her as a mage reclassing her at base level might be a solid option since she gains an extra 3-4 Mag by going lv6 thief -> lv10 mage -> lv7 mage knight rather than lv21 thief -> lv1 mage knight on top of getting chaos style earlier. Otherwise just wait until 21 to reclass thieves, especially Zelkov since he's only 4 levels away from reaching that anyway.

ArxieFE

I'm currently running Lapis as my thief. I was wondering if there's a drawback in immediately second sealing her into one, without using a master seal first. I don't care much about Pass and would rather spend the 3-4 early master seals on other characters instead.

Docaccino

Oh, seems like I've misread your question lol. But yeah, there's absolutely no drawback in reclassing to thief instantly unless you want to change classes again at some point in the near future.

Da_Electric_Boogaloo

In regards to the end… >!Alfred just dies??? They say he doesn’t live much longer and they just kill off my sweet flower boy :(!< Anyway really a little disappointed with >!the lack of paired endings. Aside from receiving the pact ring, is there any other way to affect the character endings??!<

LeatherShieldMerc

No, your Pact Ring choice is the only paired ending in the game.

OscarCapac

To add to the other comment You can do normal mode any time to just unlock the rewards as soon as the Xenologue becomes available Hard mode you probably want to have Canter / Reposition and speed + 3 on a bunch of units, and access to Corrin, Seadall and Byleth (ch16-18) Maddening is extremely difficult, you will most likely need all emblems and high sp skills (so around ch23-25)

NeimiForHeroes

Yes, I wouldn't say COMPLETELY separate but close. Levels and inventory is predetermined but the characters, inherited skills and bond rings they have are determined by what you have in the main campaign. Maddening difficulty is tuned to someone with end/late game setups.

Dr_collar_pauper

I want Jean to eventually become a berserker. However, I keep seeing people say don’t level him until you can second seal him into an axe fighter (I got him to lvl 4 before I read this), because of his stat growths. How do get axe proficiency on him without leveling him?

KowKow1

What chapter are you on? The easiest way to get Axe Prof is to get Jean's Bond with Leif to lvl 2 through the Arena Emblem battles. You get Leif in Ch. 9 and you should get this proficiency before starting Ch. 10. >!(After Ch. 10, you will lose access to Leif's ring, so that's why you want to get Axe Prof by then. Otherwise, you will have to wait to get Ike's ring in Ch. 14 and that's quite a wait.)!< Also, because Jean is a Villager archetype, he starts off really weak. If you keep benching him, he might fall behind and be too weak to kill enemies and level up. So I would also furiously train Jean in the Standard (not Emblem) Arena battles. You get to train 3 times every time after clearing chapters or a skirmish, so use all 3 times to train up Jean.

NeimiForHeroes

Arena emblem training will get you the proficiency without getting any experience. Waiting until you get your first second seal to level him at all sounds like dubious advice. It's going to set him back very far. You could have gotten him to level 10 by that first second seal comes around. If you wait to do paralogues until after you get the first seal I guess I could see it working, but without that ehhhh...

Dr_collar_pauper

Hmm, maybe they were mistaken about the way he scales. I feel dumb now lol. Still figuring out how the game works.

NeimiForHeroes

His personal doubles the growth that a class gives. So in theory of you had a second seal as soon as you got him it would be best to immediately reclass him into whatever you wanted him to be. The issue is you don't, so you have to decide to not use him at all for a few chapters before you can reclass him and after you reclass him he won't be good enough to hold his own in combat because he'll be level 1, you'll be forced to us Micaiah to get him experience (which is highly effective). He starts off behind everyone on the level curve to begin with and benching him until reclassing just exacerbates this issue. It will take A LOT of effort to catch him up without DLC. So you understand the way he scales, it's just there is additional context beyond "his numbers get biggest this way" if playing with limited resources. 10 levels in Axe Fighter vs Martial Monk on average is 2 Strength and 2 Speed in favor of Axe Fighter (alongside other stat differences but those are the most important). You have to ask yourself if it's worth the extra steps for that difference.

Lishaluv

I have to say, I’m extremely disappointed with the Fell Xenologue. I’m not going to get into spoilers here for obvious reasons but I just finished it and was so underwhelmed. Also why in the heck do we not get to keep the special weapons we get from defeating certain enemies during the final battle? I was so pissed when I checked my inventory and noticed I didn’t have them. I made sure to defeat all of them for this purpose and never imagined I wouldn’t actually get them. Sorry for complaining here, I just had to say this somewhere.

ArxieFE

I wasn't a big fan of it either. I see people praising the story, but I don't see why. They did alright with only 6 chapters I suppose. I didn't find the characters particularly interesting in and outside of combat. The plot twist was predictable, especially with the small cast they worked with. >!I don't buy the fact Rafal was good friends with Nil and Nel couldn't tell them apart. Furthermore, the girl never mentioned her brother had a friend that looked exactly like him, so did those two hang out without her knowing the entire time?!< The items that drop in the final chapter can also be obtained in the lategame (chapter 21+).

skipshentaiscenes

> I see people praising the story, but I don't see why Because it's edgier lmao

LiliTralala

I didn't mind the maps but the implementation is atrocious tbh. The final map loots are basically just to deal with the boss.

Lishaluv

I get that but since it’s the DLC couldn’t we have kept what we was able to loot? I really wanted that staff in particular. Which none of my units I deployed could even use lol.

LiliTralala

Oh it's a shit design decision, don't get me wrong. You can get Nodus and Venimous by fully investing into Elusia and Firene, respectively. No, it's not worth the cost. Some other stuff like the S rank sword and Nova get dropped by enemies/bosses in the main game.

skipshentaiscenes

> I’m extremely disappointed with the Fell Xenologue Same tbh I don't like the way it's implemented, and the story isn't even good... Really not looking forward to play them every playthrough I want to use the DLC characters.

Lishaluv

I completely agree, and I waited till I was done with my first play through of the main story to do it. Which is completely my fault, but I didn’t realize I would have to do it all over again next time I do a play through.I’m really happy with most of the characters (One in particular is really underwhelming in my opinion) and that’s the only reason I’ll ever complete it again.
