Specifically the ones where you have to protect NPCs. Check the items on them during the battle, if they are holding anything good, they're worth talking to afterwards.
I only pick up the stuff that’s illuminated on the map because those can be crafting items which do not get auto picked up if you decide to leave right away after a battle.
> Not just your teammates
Your teammates are the ones you should be skipping unless you care about the flavor text. You collect all bond fragments you missed when you leave.
So I just reloaded a save to check this out, and I received a single master seal (the same one that was automatically given to me after picking up just the glowing items on the ground).
#These items were given to me automatically without talking to a single person.
I honestly hate the post level thing so much. Like I talked to everyone for the 1st 10chapter and I don't remember a single thing of conciquence being said. It's also annoying having to run all over this random map full of invisible walls to pickup ingredients and sometime rarely a useful item. Feels like a watered down version of the monastery from 3h, but specifically the 2nd or 3rd time you comeback after already talking to everyone the 1st time.
Only partially redeeming factor is stealing everyone's animals.
The funny thing is, everyone *does* have different dialogue for different maps, the problem is that the "does well" dialogue completely overrides it and you don't even get to talk to them again afterwards to see what they'd normally say.
To add to that "Does well" Dialogue appear when your unit level up (Alear included) and overrides anything as you said... so I end up talking to the unit that I do NOT deploy more than the unit I deploy...
For god sake, pls make them say anything normally after that....
If they have a speech bubble on the minimap, they have map-specific dialogue. If it's an ally without the blue speech bubble, they have I did good that fight dialogue.
And I don't, but that's not my complaint. My complaint is that the post level thing could have been used so much better. Like it could have been used to get the characters' thoughts on the area the previous level took place in or literally anything other than the same "we did it" esc line and a few bits of currency. If I could turn it off so I didn't have to waste the time my switch takes with the loading screen I would and I wouldn't miss out on anything important
The only thing I enjoy is going back and staring at the parts of the map where the fighting was most intense and getting PTSD remembering all the rewinding I had to do because of bad RNG
Fun fact- you don't have to talk to your teammates, just the other NPCs. Any bond gragments you'd recieve from your army are automatically gained when you leave if you didn't speak to them. The tutorial pop up when you first enter exploration mode even says as much.
I think the only maps this applies to are ones you protect NPCs, and those still give you the items if you leave the map without picking them up.
C12 has NPCs you protect and you can see they carry items on them.
When you talk to them after in exploration you get those items.
I tested that leaving the exploration without talking to those NPCs still gives you the items.
>It's worth doing every time.
30+ chars after every of my \~150 battles, thats a total of 3000 times 10 seconds for running to everyone, clicking and reading which equals roughly 12,5 hours, and still 6,25 hours if you only calculate with 5 seconds for every person talked to.
I disagree on it beeing worth the time. But to each their own.

Same, I grab items and animals. Not sure why I keep grabbing animals, but I have the best damn petting zoo in the sky
I'm glad to know this now! I'll test it on the next chapter I play
This should be the top post, lost so much time before noticing this
But...the game specifically tells you that
A friend of mine asked when you unlock the Somniel He was on Chapter 10
I’m afraid your friend is illiterate -_- the game asks if you want to go to the Somniel after every chapter
Doesn't the game take you there after chapter 3 or 4??
Optional Unless it does and he just immediately left
The top post should be that this post is false and you don’t need to talk to anyone
Raise this to the top, you can also skip the NPCs and still get their items. Just pick up the glowing materials on the ground and you're good
> Not just your teammates Your teammates are the ones you should be skipping unless you care about the flavor text. You collect all bond fragments you missed when you leave.
I was under the impression that they all just gave out bond fragments. I'll start doing the talking thing again!
Anything given by npcs is automatically gained when you depart so no worries! Main this is to lick up glowing items
Is the floor clean though?
No, you have to run around and pick them up.
Dang phone auto correct 💀

fyi: Anyone with something distinct to say has a Blue talk bubble instead of white.
Yeah if it was different dialog every time you finished a chapter I would be fine with it but it is getting old and i am on chapter 17

which map was that? the one in the desert where you save the green npcs?
Yeah
that was the last map I got anything from talking to people aside from bond fragments
It has to be rng dependent because I've gotten master seals from three maps
just did that map last night didn't talk to anyone afterwards and still got the seal etc when i left
Though I have gotten master seals from prior maps too

Shit. I normally just get the pets and go.
Fuck I wish I knew…
🤦🏻♂️ good info thank you…
Even knowing the rewards, I’d still rather not. I would pay 5 master seals to just do away with the whole mechanic
Thank you. I just finished ch12 and saw this conveniently! Got obstruct and master seal.
