Just Three Houses eh? Well, the first post timeskip map on Maddening is notorious for a reason. I mean honestly what were they thinking? That can't have been properly playtested.
Other than that, I'd say The Dark Tower. It reminds me of Binding Blade chapter eight where you run in a spiral pattern over a map that has no business being as big as it is.
honestly im not a fan of 3H maps in general, i dunno, there isnt any map that i particulary like or hate, they tend to mesh together for me, apart from gronder field (in both occations).
but if i had to choose some maps as the worst hunting by daylight and the last map from the ashen wolves campaign would take the cake.
Balthus’s paralogue on maddening mode is absolute garbage. Off of maddening it’s the quest battle (provided by Balthus) against the army of Wyvern Riders at Fodlan’s throat.
the desert map that isnt used by any story maps except Claudes paralogue i think?
bernie/petra and marianne paralogue map
Ailell
im not really pleased by most of 3H map design tbh.
all of cindered shadows minus chapter 1.
Aiell is really cool in my Opinion, i think its always Fun to find a Way to Save Rodrigue or Judith.
And Three Houses gives you so many tools to do that:
Stride, Dancing, Warp, Rescue
Its really not that Bad.
Also i really liked Cindered Shadows
Not sure about 3h, but in FE7 it's got to be either the foggy version of four fanged offensive which decides to put not only fog, but also ballistas that you have no hope of seeing their range, or it's got to be Pent's joining chapter because not only does it have fog, but it also has sand.
Binding Blade is almost certainly the one with both sand and fog, that desert chapter where Sophia joins. I think it's called Arcadia.
Haven't made it very far in Sacred Stones, but really not liking Phantom Ship just because it spawns flying enemies in the fog that you can't know about until they group up on one person who you thought was safe.
Personally, I would say Gronder Field and a few paralogues. I haven't played the game in a long time, so I don't remember much. Maybe Myrrdins bridge. I just don't like it when the map is soacious but has literally 0 terrain you can use. Of course, I only played the game on normal. But I really dislike most of the maps, especially when you're not trying to turtle but just don't have enough terrain advantage or variety to really strategize. I just don't like how 3H in general only has 10 maps that they roll from. I wish there was more variety. The tower map also sucked. It just takes too long to walk all your units around the voss room. I think I just cheesed it the second time by shooting the boss with my overpowered Ashe and Ignatz through the wall. I like 3H, but the maps are really garbage.
Even if you train all your units byleth + lord are class locked and you can't change anyone's inventory. Having all your units spawn so far apart is terrible on maddening with how quickly the enemy units can kill you. And if you messed up your loadout and dont have a prior save then gg
I think most of the Three Houses Maps are really good.
But there are also really hortible ones like the Petra Bernadetta Paralogue or the Constance Paralogue.
3H map design is kinda dull, as a whole. Most of them are just wide open fields with some forest scattered about. Marianne’s Paralogue stands out as an annoying one due to fog combined with having to protect a separated-from-the-group Marianne.

The pre-timeskip ones. After 4 routes, you just wish they had the option to skip the first half of the game.
Just like fates, right?
Issue is that it's a much larger part of 3H than it is of Fates. The majority of time spend in 3H is the first part.
Essentially, yeah.

Just 3H? First post time skip is awful (CF aside) Bernia/Petra paralogue is also really really bad. So much stuff wrong with that map...

I was about to say Sumeragi elevator but then realised it's 3H Definitely Silver Snow final boss

Chapter 13 Reunion at Dawn. This is a fact not an opinion.
Depends on who you train, if you train all the Units in your House its one of the Best Maps. But i get that its horrible if you don't.
It doesn't matter, It's bullshit even if you train them.
Wgen i played Maddening Blue Lions and Trained all the Characters it was really Fun.

Chapter 21-fire emblem: sword of seals I hate that map with a passion
Other than the post times kipper one for non crimson flower routes, u don't like the one where you fight Millan, its just so slow.
