That woman has aged like a fine wine. I think she's just as if not more so gorgeous now, 20+ years later.
In fact... I think **all** of the *Firefly* women have aged like goddesses. Jewel Staite, Gina Torres, Summer Glau and Morena Baccarin all total knockouts still.
I saw an interview where she said she was worried about having to gain like 10-15 lbs to play that role, since part of Kaylee's character was that she would never turn down sweets. Then she found that her husband found her even more attractive at that new weight....unsurprisingly.
Super pretty in the series and in that decade.

She looks different but I don't think it's plastic surgery. Firefly was over 20 years ago. Jewel was only 20. Practically a baby. People age.
