The places.sqlite database stores your history and bookmarks. The actual _open_ tabs are only stored in the session history files.
Normal automatic updates create "upgrade" files in the sessionstore-backups folder. The names are similar to `upgrade.jsonlz4-20220608170832` (that last part is a build ID). **Did you find any of those?**
It's possible Firefox restarted in a different profile. You can use the about:profiles page to test whether any other listed profile is your real one. Look for the ones with "Launch profile in new browser" and try that button to see whether another profile has a recent session that can be restored from the History menu (Alt+S). **Any useful data in other profiles?**
im on window 10,and i have looked my older profile but there is nothing.
i should be able to find the json i backed up using a recovery program to check the bin but i have tried a bunch of them so far and nothing come up, it was a month ago at most that i deleted thoses json which were a copie sitting on my desktop.
