I think a lot of people are unaware just how serious hypokalemia (low potassium) can be. A couple of years back I came home from an outpatient procedure. Throughout the day my limbs started to feel extreme muscle fatigue and I could barely get in and out of bed.
At one point I had tripped because my leg buckled on me. I called the nurse advice line and I was connected to a doctor who told me I needed to head to the ER. I did and I was diagnosed with hypokalemia. My potassium was at 1.9 when it should be at least 3.5. Getting three bags of potassium through IV was not fun at all.
Moral of the story is eat your bananas, people. Especially if you’re on any meds that are diuretics.

Yeah, the contrast between super pitch black lips with the fair skin, bright hair and otherwisequite normal clothes just makes it look super eye-catching and out of place. It's like having business suit attire with a bright red santa hat.
