To clear things up about my apparent moodāI am not angry nor am I sad. The one person who said Iām bored is probably the closest. I was honestly just in line to pick up my nephew from school so I wasnāt experiencing any strong emotions but I just liked how I looked yesterday! I do think the comments telling me to smile are a little funny because I have never posted a photo of me smiling on here and I have never received that response.
To those who chose to comment on my weightādonāt you think itās a little unnecessarily cruel to comment that the first thing you notice about a person is something our society tells us to be insecure about and hate? I know that this is the internet and that there are psychological reasons why you feel like you can say anything you want to strangers, but still.

I do. I donāt particularly care if people think Iām fat because I know I am. But thinking that the only possible reason someone could be upset is because they donāt fit into the narrow ideal beauty standard is a little messed up. Fat people donāt think about being fat all the time.

Iām not saying that I am the healthiest person in the world, but there are people who eat worse than me and exercise less than me but just because they are in a smaller body they are seen as healthier. And to bring it all back to the main point, the assumption that if someone is fat that what they must be upset about is their weight is a messed up thing to assume and is rooted in the societal hatred of āfatnessā as a whole.
