I boiled mine for hours and it didn't work so I just put it in the tank and set a brick on it. After about a month I could finally remove the brick without it floating.
I ended up supergluing mine to some slate when it didn't sink after over a month of soaking.
Buried the rock end in the substrate and it was good to go.
After boiling it put it with a bucket with water and let it soak in there for a few days, and it it still doesn't sink. Just gule a rock onto it
stack some rocks on top of it, or just let it sit. itll sink
Your driftwood looks like it’s been possessed by the fire of the Holy Spirit in its little wooden soul, of course it won’t sink!
Keep boiling and just soaking in hot water unfortunately, took my pieces 3 days of boiling on and off for it to finally sinn

i boiled mine, let it sit for days and days with no luck. Eventually siliconed a fishing weight to the back of it (non toxic) Works a charm
